Package says Indica. Smoked a medium-sized grind flower from a pipe and water bong. Smooth and easy draw, no harshness or throat burn, faint but pleasant taste with no after taste. Quick and heavy onset, settled real heavy on eyes and cheeks. After a few mins cheeks felt very heavy like they were melting and hanging off my face. Eyes were blurry and tough to focus. Very relaxed, slow and lethargic feeling initially. After a little bit the slow and lethargic feeling faded but I didn't feel quite energetic though. The heaviness and relaxed feeling remained and was enjoyable.

Dark Matter smells GREAT! It smokes and burns like a butt full of chili peppers. The effect on me was unimpressive and disappointing. Like, it made me think about the "good ol days" when we just took what we could get.. would I have enjoyed this if there weren't better more enjoyable options? The way the ash/char looks after it has been lit is rubbery and smells less like burnt weed and more like a burnt UTI.

wonderful strain…i smoke for anxiety and this definitely mellowed me out but didn’t put me to sleep…
