I got this strain in thc distillate form so my experience might be a little bit more intense than most people’s, but this strain did an AMAZING job at making everything 10 times more interesting and entertaining. Also, be warned, one hit off of this had me eating my entire pantry.
really fun strain. for a sativa, it was actually a pretty good body high. I was really sensitive and interested in temperatures, like the hot shower felt really good and it's cold air conditioning felt really good. I got kind of anxiously curious about the expansiveness of human Origins and diversity. Really focused in on it, but a little like worked up and concerned about it. Overall french fries we're good, could have done for some M & M's. was really sensitive to touch and feel on the skin overall. Felt sort of aroused and cuddly.
Picked up an eighth from Good Chemistry in Denver. I was weary of a pure sativa since I am prone to anxiety, the bud tender indicated that this was not a racy strain for him and was very clear headed.
The smell on this one is very citrusy, smells very fresh. The smoke is smooth as well, a sour taste for sure.
My tolerance is very low, but I feel lifted from this one, very clear thoughts. Some very, very slight cranial pressure around my temples.
Another old timer here and as others have said Columbian Gold is not green, its GOLD ! I had some in 1967. It was so unusual we did not know what to think, as having pretty much just Mexican bricks at the time. It had very large spongy buds. When twisted up and smoked gave off a very thick smoke.
I often hear "This ain't your grandpa's weed". Well the younger crowd can only hope they'll ever get a chance to smoke this stuff. I had something to compare against - Black Nepalese Temple Balls a friend in the merchant marine brought back from India circa 1970. I've smoked some good weed in Colorado but it is lacking something compared to those two, not exactly sure what or how to express it. One obvious thing is both the Temple Balls and the Gold had a very long lasting high.
I 1st smoked Columbian Gold in the 70's. I was able to travel around Columbia collecting viable seeds from different Regions, from Pollinated plants 1 mo to 2 weeks from their Harvest Time. One of these Strains I collected, grow, and processed...

but has been Selectively Bred for the past 50+years to Increase the Potency and Other Qualities
Reminds me of
Columbian Gold from
The Old Days! But a Much More Powerful 100% Sativa!
overall 10/10
I m with the old timer. This strain was the best. I’ve never been into the “couch lock” strains. This was uplifting but mellow.
Imported material here. The flower was golden rod hues and citrus on the nose. Perfect for summer gatherings.
