Wow! I picked up 3 grams of Chocolope KIEF at Delta 9 Collective ($30 total) and made a batch of Perfect Chocolate Chip cookies (see CooksIllustrated.com for recipe - damn good cookies even without the herb). This recipe lends itself to baking with kief due to the butter needing to be melted first. I melted the butter in a skillet and then melted the kief into the butter and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Baked at a slightly lower temp (360F for 10 minutes) so as not to vaporize the THC.
The recipe yielded 24, 1-ounce cookies (using a #40 scoop to provide uniform cookie size). Waiting the 10 or so minutes before I could try a cookie nearly killed me.
First of all, cookies baked fresh - cannot be beat! I started with half a cookie, not really knowing the strength with only 3 grams. I felt a mild buzz in the head about 40 minutes after eating. I waited another 20 minutes to see if anything else would strengthen... and then I had the other half. So I had 1 one-ounce cookie.
SHAZAM! Beautiful high, great euphoria and giggles. Colors and sound were crazy. Then a great body stone - tingles down to my toes. Maybe 3/4 of a cookie would have made a good dose, but damn - just eat the whole cookie. Next time I will bake with 5 grams of kief. But for now I have 23 remaining balls of dough waiting to be baked.
Cooking the kief on the stove didn't stink up the house as you might get with making your own cannabutter. And the best part about making the cookies at home is that you can dish out all the balls of dough, freeze them separately (on a tray) and then bag them for fresh baking later when the mood suits you. Don't have to worry about your cookies going stale or frost bitten in the freezer awaiting your need. Just bake them fresh and enjoy
this is a great strain for nerve pain. 1-2 hits of this relaxes me enough to get some actual sleep. Thank you.. love this strain
This sativa is one crazy mother fucker; I have never been more innovative then Tesla himself. main symptom of this is creativity, and happiness. The scent is more coffee than chocolate, as well as some subtle fruity notes. When smoking, it’s not harsh, it’s actually more of a chocolate flavor than just a harsh taste. You’ll love this strain if you need to wake up in the morning and get your day started. Thank you Patriot Care for hooking this up for me! Much love!

I've never heard of this strain before so naturally I was a little apprehensive before getting some. Chocolope delivers! Buds are nice and fluffy, not too dense or light. Very distinct and unique aroma. the high isn't super intense or immediate but will defintely open you up to social situations and functionality. Great Daytime strain. if you ever come across it be sure to try
Pleasant vape. A heavier smoke than I expected, but smooth, somewhat earthy flavor.
Effect, however, has left me a bit less focused and relaxed than I was hoping for. (Unlike, for example, the Alpha Diesel and Bubba Phish I've enjoyed recently; both definite daytime go-tos.) For me, the high now is a little too heavy for regular daytime use, a little too much buzz, which is probably more my fault given my inexperience with this strain -- so I look forward to trying again.
Topping it off with GDP for bed.
Gradually blasting off now...
Me and gf agree this is a REALLY good strain for fun times. Alone, it makes everything super interesting and you get a smile plastered on your face. Doesn't make me hungry as much as it makes everything taste awesome. Probably my favorite strain so far out of the ~15 I've tried.
very coffee like taste. gives a very euphoric feeling. very giggly. has a bold taste and is earthy
strong and slightly dreamy, four big bong hits and PS3 and I'm hooked up for a bit...
