This is a great strain for Fibromyalgia / ME, anxiety, PTSD, and Mood disorders.
I’ve been having a rubbish day mental / body wise; but now I’m chilling eating snacks, playing GTA, with the football on in the background.
Creeping head high, which lasts about 30 mins, in to a full body relaxation. You’ll feel super chill, your soft tissue relaxes, and your brain just lets go of everything causing you problems, to think and process without interruption.
A great strain which helps many conditions, I toked a bong and smiled right after it, the flavour was unmistakably grandaddy purple but it seemed improved by the cross in a unique way, I really liked this strain, it starts in the head and moves down you can feel this the entire time, it moves very slowly down to the shoulders, then the stomach, you may want to lie down and chill out on this one if so that's cool, but it's also good for playing video games the strain.
Fun little strain! Especially given the high THC count, watch out, you're gonna get the giggles! Great uplift, fun for social smoking.
For medical use, this strain is good for my back pain and migraines. Tastes really sweet and fruity, definitely can taste the cherry pie flavor. I don't like the dizzy head effect though.
This must have been what Pharrell smoked before he wrote "happy." Also, I don't think I've ever smoked a 50/50 hybrid before that didn't make me at least a little bit tired or zapped, but Cherry Pie somehow did none of that. The genetics are what led me to this strain; Durban Poison is arguably the best pure landrace Sativa of all time, and GDP's reputation precedes itself, I've actually made salads with both of these strains in it before. . . . . . but the effect was nothing like them actually being bred together as Cherry Pie.
Aaaahhh Cherry Pie... Just the name sounds good. This past week i've been exposed to a a good amount of Cherry. Cherry Pie and Cherry Slider have been comin through and I gotta say it's been a good week. The smell of Cherry Pie was a little more suttle than the Slider, but still both had that fruity almost cherry smell. The buds are smaller, but still buds that get fuller with the Slider rather than the Pie. They're dark green with orange pistils and more cloudy trichomes, but not completley amber. When I first toked Cherry Pie I was feelin it right away other than some creepers i've been having lately so it was a fresh change of pace. It seemed like it was going to be Sativa from the name and smell, but as I sat in my own funk I started to yawn more and get an overall stoneyness to me high. It didn't even really occur to me that it's mostly indica until I saw GDP is a parent of this strain. Now I might not've had the exact strain, but its still mostly Indica and adds up well with the Leafly description. Good friendly group bud that works well with friends that like to sit and talk rather than moving around and having to do something. Overall I give it a 8/10
the dankest i have ever seen, gdp was made to be combined with durban poison.
It smells and tastes like cherry pie. It gets you seriously blazed and leaves you with major wood. This is a strain good enuf for Jesus.
