This strain was definitely a life changer. I'd give it a 10/10. I suffer extreme panic disorder, ocd, anxiety, anxiety attacks, ocd, and ptsd. It's hard for me to find a strain that actually works. Cannatonic is one of them. It helped me through my benzo withdrawal. Very manageable high. Very calming and relaxing. I normally have thoughts that race 1000 miles per minute but with each exhale the more clear headed and focused I become. This strain also helps with muscle and joint pain. I can smoke it day or night. definitely give it a try. this is true medical cannabis.
Favorite medicinal strain! I am sensitive
to THC and needed something to help with my PTSD and aniexty. This strain hit me just right. Not a typical "high" that you would aspect. You feel a shift in ur mood and in ur body, but not enough to feel stoned and that's exactly what I wanted! It is minimal and I love it for that. Perfect strain for the whole day.
OK..Im actually high right now..literally.. at the moment I feel completely high and like, its a mixture of being buzzed (alcoholic) and your basic regular high at a moderate pace. I haven't smoked for about 4-5 years and for being RESEARCH … i feel ok.Normally, I would be freaking the fuck out, having panics attacks, accelerated heart beat, and a bunch of regular bad shit.
If you can imagine a nice 10mph red roller coater (..haha…=P image (giggles) ) going up and down. thats it..! Im writing this review cause now-a-days its pretty difficult to find a decent one. anyways..onward.
umm … would i smoke this again..perhaps not. not because its not a quality strain, or a bad high. I kinda grew out of it ever since a horrifying experience i had that changed my life forever.
Im trying to get the effects and see how it would effect people regarding physical disabilities or the disabled in any aspect whether big or small.
recreationally ..HELL YEAH! MEDICALLY..YES.
I would see how this would work in ailments physically and psychiatric. one can control very well the sense of paranoia or anxiety really well as long as you're keeping busy. I suffered from O.C.D and this can somewhat help. ( 5 out of 10…maybe 6, 7…maybe 8. yeah…8!) so, this is really good for people who suffer in that category. I'm also very giggly and have a sense of happiness. not that gloom and shit.
pain…? uhhhh..i really don't know cause nothing hurts while I'm sober but I'm sure it would work fine. *shurgs shoulders* BODY HIGH FERR SHURRR!
oK this is fun!! =D
I wouldn't give this to my mom who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis in her knee cause..im sure she wouldn't hang. my intentions are for the CBD..but MEDICALLY 2 FUCKIN THUMBS UP REALLY HIGH!!
for a low thc content (11-12%) and a 14% CBD ratio. its fine… I'm gonna smoke A.C.D.C next and post that up for you guys..later.
oh..! P.S. ...and my high is coming down.. like really good. I was horny for like an hour and it was a very nice ride. =)
As I finish up this gram of live sap of Cannatonic, I have found it to be most effective with absolutely eliminating PTSD symptoms specially raging, depression and anxiety. Also, my debilitating arthritis all over my body is relieved as well. I’ve taken it in the day and it has had zero sleepy effects allowing me to function and do what needs to be done. Probably my top 5 medical strains that I’ve tried
As someone with a history of weed related anxiety and paranoia, Cannatonic made it very easy to get back into enjoying marijuana. With my very low tolerance, I experienced an initial body centered high that gradually trailed into calm contentedness. A few moments of anxiety here or there, but overall a huge improvement of my typical smoking sessions. If you do experience anxiety or paranoia with marijuana, this strain could be worth a try.
Incredible strain. I was very skeptical when I viewed the batch I received from my dispensary (4.921% THCA, 5.345% CBD). As many others mentioned, I normally see the low THC as a red flag, and a "no-go" strain, however it was the signature strain at my dispensary, so I thought I'd give it a try.
It is truly a medical strain. It does not give you an intense, cerebral high. Instead, it provides relief that is almost unbelievable. I use it for my chronic pain, spasms and cramps from my ulcerative colitis. It also helped me taper off of a benzodiazepine that I used for anxiety. Lastly, it's effects reducing inflammation is where this strain truly shines.
Do not underestimate this strain because of the low THC level.
I LOVE this strain! Light sweet and a lil minty.
I have anxiety and suffer from panic attacks occassionally. I also suffer from Psoriasis. I researched this strain and felt it would work best for these two issues i deal with.
In the past, when i've vaped,
i would end up with a panic attack. The strong body buzz would trigger an attack. But the visual changes in my sight might have also caused me anxiety. Unfortunately what was to be a relaxing time, just turned so sour so fast.
With this strain, I am able to get the relaxation I need without the head high or body buzz that triggers my attacks. The high cbd content and low THC is the perfect pairing if you have anxiety and want an anti-inflammatory and immune system regulator. It will keep you relaxed. I could function fine although I was sometimes a lil heavy-lidded.
The effects didnt last long. 2 hours tops. So I medicated often- wanted to keep the healing cbds in my body (: Only time will tell if this helps cure my psoriasis. i'll let you know if it does.
Got my Cannatonic at Waterfall Wellness in SF.
Cannatonic is my go-to strain before AND after physical therapy appointments. It loosens all my muscles up before my appointments and takes all my pain away post-therapy. I am not a huge flower smoker (usually prefer either edibles or oils) but I HAVE to have some Cannatonic in my line-up. 4.5/5. The only thing I would change about this strain is the smell/taste. Could definitely be a bit tastier.
