Because of its heritage and the legacy of so many strains from hybrid to indica and how often you see it being crossbred so often with good results I’m giving it four stars curaleaf in fort Pierce Florida had this for 45$ an eighth price was moderate but this batches quality was not so good 18% thc it did give me some peace of mind when smoked but at the same time cost is a big factor involved so 4 stars it is great legacy bad cost because of it.

This is one of my favorite indica strain. It has a sweet, fruity smell with a sticky resin left on my lips. Great euphoria with complete body relaxation.
I've been slowly acclimating myself to indica's over the past couple of years after staying in the sativa camp for most of my stoner career. Afghani is one of the indica strains that has stuck out to me as it has a very unique taste/smell and heavy sedative effects. This is one of the most unique smelling flowers I've had; nothing smells quite like it. It's taste is predominantly earthy with just a tinge of menthol and sweetness in the background. I really can't compare it to anything else out there, other sweet, earthy strains are much more candy-like than this is. The bud is fluffy, fat and pale with some orange hairs. The heavy effects will creep up on you. It brings about a pronounced sense of meditative relaxation with just a hint of euphoria to keep you focus. This is a fantastic all around strain and I would highly recommend it for someone who needs something heavy but still relatively functional. This strain adds to my perception that some of the best cannabis strains in the world are what mother nature provided herself.
This is on the weaker side of what I'm used to. That being said, it is great to gradually intake over time to counter anxiety and paranoia that can come from the stronger stuff that can clobber you over the head. If you are trying to condition yourself to get past becoming paranoid and anxious when you smoke weed, this should help nicely. Smoke a hit or two , wait 10 mins, rinse and repeat until you are where you need to be. SUPER low anxiety strain if you do it this way. But for seasoned tokers, there are much better strains than this one once for ounce.
Ok, I have to add to this review after giving it another week or so...especially since this is too much to ignore. Not only does this strain actually make me horny, but it physically makes me tight in the bathing suit area. Like middle school math class. As in, I'd rather take an "F" than walk up to the board right now.
Long awkward body high that make me feel like I was hammered. I was dropping everything, Knocked my bong over twice, and I was really dizzy. This isn't coming from a baby toker either. I'm a Washington medical patient. I've been smoking daily for a little more than a year now and this has to be my least favorite strain i've ever tried. May just be a bad batch but it made me feel like shit. Staying away from Afghani from now on. 5/10
I mostly use oils for pain control, but Afghani is worth vaping for quick relief of fibromyalgia pain, tension and general discomfort. Within 20 minutes of vaping I get a warm, tingly body stone, relaxing as a warm bath, with a good 2-hours relief: a great way to span the gap while waiting for oils or edibles to take effect.
a little goes a long way, it's super strong, so start small. it takes a bit longer than other strains to hit me, a full 3-5min, which tempts me to smoke more, but I get nauseous and anxious if I overdo it, so just be patient! it's both a cerebral and body high that makes you happy, carefree, sleepy, and a bit horny.
I'm more of a sativa kinda guy, but Afghani is one of my favorite strains out. I like how this high gently sets in. In the beginning it's light and clear, almost energetic feeling, but before you realize you might have drifted off into a sleep. It's great in the evening for a show or video game.
