A little weird when you first walk in. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Bud was nice. Prices reasonable. Overall decent experience. Definitely doesn't have the "glitz" of some other places which isn't a tragedy.

First time in I wasn't sure what to think, but after entering I realised this is an awesomely unique shop. " A diamond in the rough". Among the high priced outfits out there, this facility has managed to keep their prices much lower than most for excellent quality (dawgwalker, slhaze, Sky goo), great selection, their atmosphere pleasant, and their staff professional and courteous. Well done to the staff for being so knowledgeable and accommodating my wants. I would highly recommend this place, product, and staff to all for their professional family ran business and their sweet Portland vibe! I will be a regular customer. Cheers!

98% of the employees deserve 5 stars, the owner most of all, most (51%) of the cheap/on sale loose flower/pre-roll are 4-5 star but almost as often is too dry/harsh, & the environment can come off as unprofessional, or even cheap, but they're great folks who need more local support if they can ever upgrade their facility&I'm sure they could/would do a 5 star job, once they have enough additional support to build a profit.

Really did not care much for this place. No where to park and very small (kinda reminds me of someone's dark basement ) The staff was very friendly though! That's about the only thing good about it! Very tiny selection and not very good quality.

I love the staff and the knowledge they provide. Super easy to do pickup, and you get a discount (on most items) to top it off. Prices are affordable. Good selection of product. This place maybe small, but they are mighty!

Very good selection of flower, they have beautiful high-end bud and a nice variety of budget bud that's actually pretty good for being cheap. But the main reason why this is one of the best places in the Portland Metro Area is because of the AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. During my last visit, I purchased three different eighths from them, and then when I got home much later that night, I realized that there was a problem with one of the eighths. I called them up the next day and explained my situation. They very easily could have said that I was out of luck or even that I was lying, but instead they checked their security footage, and then had me come back in to the store and they totally made things right. It's very refreshing to see honesty and integrity these days. Definitely going to shop with these guys again.

A really great dispensary. I just recently discovered this location and while their sales space is a little on the small side, they have excellent customer service and a large selection of flower and concentrates. I always stop by in the morning so my regular bud tenders are Kryztofer and Karen and they are superstars! Also, unlike a growing number of dispensaries (which I think includes all of the dispensaries in the Milwaukie/Gladstone area), Top Hat *does not* charge the 20% sales tax on top of the advertised price of product. They bake the tax into the price of the product, so when you see your favorite strain of the shelf for $10, it's $10 not $12. I can't help but feel that this tactic is a way to increase revenue stream while making it appear that you still have competitive prices. Anyhoo, great place with great staff with great product and great prices!

Always friendly budtenders and super helpful. I've been using the pick up service the past two months as opposed to going inside and I've never had any issues. I like this little dispensary and glad it's nearby

Location is what it is and can be challenging but I like flavor, character and those who can make work with what they have. So, in saying as much, if your a pretentious hipster, concerned about the "ambiance", or parking your full-length NPR sponsored Subaru this isn't ya place (disclaimer: it's a joke, I love NPR and Subaru). As an individual who values a warming welcome, amazing people and great conversation, Top Hat is my new spot!!! The quality of flower, dialogue and customer service was beyond anything I have experienced in the past as well as an incentive to become a loyal customer. Btw... that pre-rolled Mango Kush, WOW and for $5.00, THANK YOU and see you again soon.

I highly recommend Top Hat!! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The owner went out of his way to make some calls to see if he could get what I was needing. Overall best experience I've had, thank you Top Hat!!!

Very personable, helpful & friendly

Unfortunately the best thing I can say about this store is they have a nice staff. The buds are sub par and over priced. I have also had them make math errors more than once. It's also in an unfortunate location.
