TJ's on Powell

Been hearing a lot about this shops great deals. I originally went in to get a medical half pound but didn't have quality I wanted. I mentioned they should carry their in house Yerba Burma flower in half p's because it dank and reasonably priced around town, but they said they couldn't get close to those prices, bummer. it ended up being the 30% off top shelf flower day so I grabbed 4 eights and a quarter of different strains. All of them are suuuper dried out, and little nose. My fault for going off the displayed nugs instead of asking to smell the jar but I fell like top shelf should still have some freshness to it! My budtender also sold me a quarter of above top shelf and said it was 30% off too but ended up not getting a discount. When I went back in an hour later the manager was kind of rude about it, and pointed to a sign and said it says 30% off top shelf and these signs are everywhere. How would I know you have a tier highe than top-shelf on a first time visit?! I just went off what the budtender told me. There was also a discrepancy with the veteran discount on the concentrates I bought. My receipt didn't show any discount on the 3 grams. The manager said it shows in his computer that I got the discount and said the prices to me, but they didn't add up to the right percent. I ended up walking out without pushing the $8 issue, I was more concerned about the quarter of non discounted product for about $20. As a first time visitor who originally came in asking for half pounds of product and then staying around and still spending over $200 on random product, I am disappointed and won't be back.

Attacking individuals and companies based off of someone else's feelings in order to ruin a reputation is not something to be loud and proud about. Feelings aren't facts. The cannabis community should be represented of spiritual fruits not over medicated nuts. To the individuals who are leaving bad reviews for a free donut, shame on you. There are more humane ways to get yourself a snack, try digging in your couch for some loose change. To the lost soul who rallied a team of overmedicated zombies, I hope you get the help you need both physically with your ailment and mentally with your insecurities. The next time you are feeling good and you look up at the sky to enjoy the clouds, I hope a Turkey Vulture shits on your face and you are both humbled and reminded that you too, can be a target of someone else's shit storm. This place is amazing. They have the most knowledgeable staff, the dankest bud, and the largest selection of dabs I’ve ever seen. They are super willing to help and I refuse to go any place else. This is my favorite dispo not just in Portland but in the PNW!! Much love y’all keep it up

A check list for a dispensary where I want to spend my hard earned money: • Top shelf dank paired with reasonable prices. • A welcoming staff with great recommendations • Hours of operation that cater to my 9-5 work schedule TJ's on Powell goes above and beyond marking everything off my list. They mix their menu up damn near every week to bless me with a variety of exotics so that I never get bored of the same strains. Beside their extensive knowledge on everything cannabis related, their entire staff is so kind and have taken the time to know and remember my name. It truly feels like a second home at times. Take a trip to TJ's on Powell you wont be disappointed!

Staff here has gone downhill over the months- not really sure what’s going on internally but the old friendly and knowledgeable staff have been replaced with lackadaisical and entitled zombies. They are aggressively rude to customers (I come here every week and have seen it with my own eyes). Y’all have a great location and products, please don’t ruin a good thing with bad staffing. We need you to get it together, TJ’s, please.

Literally everyone in this shop knows what they are talking about. I walked in the other evening and was immediately greeted by the friendliest of people as well as the most well-behaved pupper I've ever met. I can't express enough the atmosphere I experienced - such good vibes! I def found my new spot! LOL

I found this place a few weeks ago and was in love. It’s been a while since I’ve found this brand in Portland. Their own brand is great and they also carry other amazing community brands. A must see for good flower. Excellent and friendly customer service each time.

The girl with dreads is a bonehead. After already waiting in line for quite a while, she decides to help the wandering wife, one half of a couple who’s already being helped, and tells me to step back. I watch them shop for ten mins before finding out they both need to be rung up together and only one of the two bud tenders working, while 4+ more are downstairs, needs to help the couple. I knew exactly what I wanted, and had to wait forever. Please make a line for those who know what they are here for. It’s 2020, people spend all day on their phone, they should be able to look ahead at what weed they want. I would order online but the menu is never updated properly

A very nice selection of high end Hash and Flowers. Helpful staff. No full melt bubble. But the Live Hash Rosin was tasty.

Best place in Portland

Y’all be moving slow as hell!!!!!! Literally had to go somewhere else. Hire more people, there’s a third POS in the back by the entrance/bathroom. Use it.
