The Green Door

This was my first experience with a dispensary. It doesn't have much to recommend it. The guys working there were nice enough, but disengaged and disinterested. The budtender was extremely general, just recommended I try everything until I find what I want - not exactly helpful. Also, I the "donation" price I paid was $56, even though my products added up to $52. Maybe it was tax (?) but no reason was given. This is like going to a glorified dealer, not getting "medicine." The budtender was unable to provide information about the topicals and other forms of marijuana. I went way out of my way to go to this dispensary as my doctor's office actually recommended it. I went to another dispensary two days later and had a much better experience with a budtender who could speak knowledgeably about strains and products, so I know that's out there. I was overcharged and underserved at The Green Door.

Sweet spot , Great meds , awesome service, relaxing atmosphere. What else can you ask for? oh free parking ...ya they got that to.

Nice location with bus stops Located very near to International District Good replacement to a nearby dispensary that is closed Holy Grail Pre-roll is alright, looking forward to see what else they have in store Would take a point off for no card and cash only but the security of cash only is much better then just swiping a card easily

In all honesty, this has to be some of the best marijuana in the WORLD. Seriously, I love The Green Door!! I came here before they had their awesome new storefront and I loved it even then! They have a lot of different strains, so it's best if you have an idea of what you are looking for before you come in. They keep their menu updated online, though, so you can read about the various strains before you come in. They also have specials which are AMAZING, but sometimes a bit under my radar. So, be sure to ask about upcoming sales and check their twitter feed for updates. I also love their location and easy parking situation. Keep doing what you're doing, Green Door!!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. They even open the door for ya (when they see you on the cameras before hand that is ;) ) decent selection of flower-oils

Awesome store, only complaint is the ATM is frequently out of money (2nd time this happened). That has to a high priority for a dispensary, i would think.

Great shop right off I-90. Easy to get in and out. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were really great and they have online ordering. They have grass on the walls which is a cool look. Definitely going back to this place!

Used to be a great co-op, had a wide selection of high-quality medicine at different price tiers. Ironically, after they were named in the "2011 Best Of" in Seattle Weekly, they started slipping. The variety of strains started shrinking, the $8/g selections disappeared, and during my latest visit I found that they jacked up the prices to $12/g on all bud, without warning. They are also charging sales tax now. For example, what was $100 in the past is now about $130. Finally, the medicine I received during the last couple visits was hit or miss. One crop would be fantastic, but another had too much leaf left on for my liking. Hoping TGD can return to their glory days. Until then, I will go to other providers.

Small store, with friendly staff and nice selection of affordable, quality products. Budtender was not pushy and was very helpful. Very good prices! Thank you!

put my story on weedmaps and they have it deleted multiple times. worst dispensary with the worst kind of people.. So I drive almost an hour and 20 min up to Seattle to try them out on their Tuesday special. After spending another 20-30 min just to find this place that's tucked away in a back corner I go in with my girlfriend. The first thing the dude at the desk says is "if shes not a patient she has to wait outside"... so your going to send this small girl out in the freezing cold by herself at night with creepers walking around everywhere. are you serious? Why do you have a waiting room if people cant wait in it?! So I told her I'll be quick and gave the guy my drivers license and laminated mmj card. "oh we don't take the cards"... ITS THE SAME THING! It has the same purpleish tamper proof paper on the back. Every other dispensary knows that. You guys are supposed to be the best in Seattle but don't know what a mmj card looks like. All that time and gas to get instantly turned away. So I had to sit in downtown traffic already pissed off. Found a dispensary close to my house that had everything I was looking for and cheaper. And guess what.. they took my card! Told the guy at the dispensary this story and even he thought it was stupid. Never going there again.

Only picked up a g of some cannaloupe haze till pay day but it was amazing! Fresh, sticky, sweet!

This place was TOP NOTCH! WOW! I mean the selection was akin to amsterdams best, not only good strains at good prices but everything they carry is cured nicely. Great spot for medicine.

I love this dispensary and use it as my main dispensary. No other place beats the selection and I haven't met any other cashiers who knew could recommend me exactly the kind of strains I was looking for. They were very friendly and very knowledgable. I come here alll the time!

I've been to several Seattle area medical marijuana dispensaries and none hold a candle to The Green Door Seattle.... Super Nat and Snoop's Dream... YAY!

Wow!! Saw this dispensary in NW Leaf and decided to take a look. I was blown away...super nice staff, comfortable store and the flower selection made me smile. Definitely will be back!!! Thanks for all the strain info, very helpful.

This place is professional yet friendly and familiar. Exactly what i want out of a dispensary. The budtenders are very knowledgeable about each strain and do not rush you to make a decision. They take credit card!! (always a plus) They also sell glass, vapes, t-shirts and have a plethora of different types of medibles. In my search for dispensaries I always end up coming back to The Green Door because their friendly atmosphere, discounts and extremely wide selection of medication just cannot be matched anywhere else.

This place has everything I need in one place, a daily 8$ gram special, dabs, and good selection of flowers, edibles and oils/wax. prices are excellent and staff is knowledgeable and extremely nice. they know me by my first name. go to the green door for great deals.

Although I haven't been to the dispensary proper, I just received my first delivery from the The Green Door and I am *very* pleased with the quality and variety of the meds. I ordered a number of varieties. Aesthetically, the buds are uniform in size, and for the most part, well trimmed. They smell and taste delicious. From appearance to taste and effect, these buds were clearly well grown and well curated by the buyers at The Green Door. As a connoisseur I am extraordinarily pleased with the variety offered and the 7 and above nature of medications. They clearly know what they're doing. As a first time patient, I received a nicely rolled joint and a gram in a jar, gratis. The gram of Sugar Plum in the jar smells and tastes *incredible*. I will definitely patronize this establishment again!

I've been looking at this place for a while now and today I finally made it in. It wasn't too busy and my trip in and out was five minutes. The set up is clean and self explanatory. The budtender that took care of me offered advice and she was very helpful.
