Giving Tree Dispensary (Med/Rec)

I recently went in and after looking around and going to lots of dispensaries and care clubs (which suck btw), i found this little gem just south of deervalley airport. I live on Carefree hwy and this is now the closest place (so happy its only a 10 minute drive instead of a 30 minute one). The bud tenders are really knowledgeable and will actually discuss and give you their own personal opinion on anything you ask. I personally asked about vapes. I forgot the guys name (perhaps the bomb ass og kush is to blame??), but i wanted his take on vapes. We ended up talking for about 15 minutes on the subject, and believe me this guy knew his shizz. All in all I will be returning here for the foreseeable future. The meds are great. I love the multiple price points. Honestly though I would LOVE to see something thats in the $10 gram range just so you can get something when you're broke like I am at the moment.

First off I would like to say this is going to be my second review and hope this one isn't deleted like the other. I started going the first week they open and was very impressed with everything from their facility to meds. I purchased an 1/8 of White Chocolate that was full of seeds. I called and told them what I found. They continued to sell the same harvest batch for $60 to other customers not making them aware of the seeds. Today I decided to give them another chance and as the owner was going over my notes she became very snotty with me. I felt very disrespected and embarrassed in front of a room full of other patients. At this point I decided to grab my wallet and take my business elsewhere and will not be returning to this dump of a dispensary these ladies are trying to run.

I cant believe all the positive reviews this place is getting. What a joke. Dry Meds every time Seeds in meds that costs 60 an eighth -- really? Stay away from the chocolate widow unless u want seeds Prices - highest ive seen yet of any dispensary in town No display for CBD and THC count.. Why? I prefer to see the hard #'s, especially for the CBD count since i prefer high cbd strains. The only really positive thing this place has going for it is tht it has a spa atmosphere. But thats not impprtant to me. If I want to go to a spa, I go to a Spa, if i want to buy meds, I go to a disp. It pains me to see so many positive reviews. I would have thought this place would be out of business already from all the negatives i just mentioned.

Rated you all at 4 stars overall because nobody's perfect and there's always room for improvement however I was pretty happy with my experience. Was in your shop the first day you opened and tried your White Chocolate, I must say it was BOMB! Can't wait to try the others everything looked so delicious. Lol Staff was friendly and professional, place was clean, waiting area was hip and comfortable. I also like that you're a licenced dispensary not just a club or a sketchy delivery service with some random dude coming to my door. If you only have 10 buks go and get your shake or low quality somewhere else, but if you want quality at a reasonable price check this place out. I will definetly return and recommend. Thx!

smoothest check in and ordering process I've seen in the country yet. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. product were potent and affordable. will definitely be back.

Acquired your Death Star and Golden Lemon from D2 in Tucson. I love them both and they have wonderful effects. Death Star reminded me of some similarly amazing but unknown Indica I had in the 80s and so it is now my new favorite Indica. Golden Lemon has just the most positive effects on me and I can stay functional - another instant favorite. I will stop by for sure whenever I come to Phoenix next.

Mostly mid strains of flower and I wouldn’t say first time patient deals are fire like you say, buy 1 get 50% off of their select flower cmon man

Great service & selection, budtenders are excellent and the atmosphere is so relaxed.

the marijuana is always dry and has no taste. I won't be coming here again. don't be fooled by lowerprices the product sucks.

The giving tree the first time that I came in was amazing! Not only were they extremely nice and quick setting up my account over there. Just to add to that the workers are extremely nice and are willing to work with the patient to get them the strain that works best for them. All in all the giving tree is 10/10

Curbside pickup is so slow though. Plan for this to take at least 30 Minutes.

I love the drive up and the fact that the employees wear masks. 👍👍 I also noticed the cars in front of me didn't tip. Tip your bud tenders people! They deserve it. #StaySafe #SupportEachother

I came in the guy that help me around was great now getting to the line I order my things way before somebody after me got there order I then ask am I next saying my name is Ashley then Robert goes so no not next then say I got Ashley oder ready what not cool he guide me and was rushing the whole time not asking if had great service then I ask for the manger then said I am but hold on if you are way is your service more giving and more energy as am telling him not great service he still be a kid saying you can leave if you want not knowing I came try the bud but he made to point he didn’t care about lose somebody cause they felt like he was just rushing not real caring that’s sucks

Drove 25 mins to come here and use my first time patient deal. I had a preorder for Whute widow & AC/DC. Upon arrival I was informed AC/DC is a CBD strain. Online AC/DC WAS NOT ADVERTISED AS SUCH. The shift leader (Latina curly hair 10/14 6:30 pm) refused to accommodate me in any way. She said “everyone knows AC/DC us a CBD strain.” I wouldn’t know that at all, as I was a first time patient. This was very poor management skills, giving tree false advertises!!! I will not and did not spend a dime here. Better customer service is needed,

I have been a customer at Giving Tree dispensary for years as they made very pure & medicinal cannabis products (such as the Kindred capsules, CBD/THC Indica 3:1) , & grew the CBD flower "AC/DC". For this, I would give them a five stars rating. But recently, Giving Tree dispensary has decided to no longer make the Kindred 3:1 capsules, and stop growing & selling their AC/DC flower. Plus, a couple of years ago they moved the dispensary location from near Deer Valley airport, to 7th ave and Union Hills, into an old gas station. So much for medicinal. They also changed their selling format from knowledgeable bud-tenders that gave you info and advice and sold you the product, to what is now, an "assembly line" type store. Now Giving Tree is like every other "nothing special" cannabis dispensary. A real loss for the local community & those of us that went to Giving Tree as it stood out for its quality medicinal cannabis products. :-(

Awesome new dispensary. I tried the tangerine dream and loved it. They give out a free sample of top shelf instead of the shwag that other places pawn off.

I usually order online at this place and when I get my confirmation I head that way but I tried to put in an online order today and I guess they cancelled online ordering for me this is not good cause I’m not gonna drive all the way down there just to see if they have the product... you were good to me Giving Tree until today.. price are good but I really need my online ordering so until it’s back up you will have this customer there again.

The best strains available at a good price. Always has what’s advertised on website unlike most dispensaries who lure you in and try to sell you something else. Staff helpful and an ATM that actually works correctly 👍🏽👍🏽

I thought the service was terrible. The staff couldn't care less if I was satisfied. I will not be going back.

That Death Star OG for $160 a half oz is some of the dankest dank I’ve smoked! You definitely get what you pay for kicks my ass everytime! Not to mention the OG 18 cartridge you guys carry from KIND is definitely my top favorite strain in a cartridge now! Wish I knew the ladies name who hooked it up but she definitely knew what’s up!
