Terrapin Care Station - Manhattan Circle (Med)

Horrible customer service. Manager too lazy to push a button to let you know an online order is ready, at least that's what he said, don't have too. Customer care is a joke and the owner is "too busy" to respond to an upset customer. They've lost my money for good.

I don’t know if it was a problem with my phone or Terrapin website. The confirm order button would not respond, no fields were empty, I ordered (I thought) twice. When I arrived at curbside pick-up, the employee checked my ID, ran my debit card, and returned with “my order”. I got home and saw it was not my order. I called to alert Folsom store what had happened and was told some would be right there to greet me. After waiting a while, I went into the store to complete transaction. I was told there was no record of my order (shouldn’t they have known this from my ID ?) I payed for someone else’s order. Policy prevents Terrapin from refunding or exchanging anything. I was offered “some kind of discount” but definitely not the amount I paid for the WRONG ORDER. When I said that this was not going to satisfy me at all, the employee asked if we could finish the conversation outside. I followed him out but the front desk guy decided to follow us outside to tell me to “Calm Down”. If you are dealing with someone who is upset, customer or otherwise, demanding that they “cam down” is not only dismissing any validity and is sickeningly condescending. Unless I receive better compensation for “their mistake”, I’ll look into making a fraud claim with my bank. Christmas is not a great time to tie up someone’s money when it is your fault.

Had an issue with a female bud tender at the store accusing me of texting people when I needed to Confirm a deal I had found online and asked to step outside for a second. I was trying to purchase ONE item, so it was quite unreasonable for her to assume I was trying to purchase for other people in my opinion. She also initially seemed to be accusing me of having a fake ID by repeatedly asking me if it were mine and asking for info on my ID...Even though I have been a long-time customer of their Longmont location and in no way look underage as 31 year old female. Additionally, my ID did not scan with anything wrong or anything so her attitude was very out of the way. In general she was very rude to me from the get-go...and I was pretty annoyed about it. BUT A male bud tender—possibly manager—I believe his name was Dakota, did come to talk to me and then assisted me with great care. He went out of his way to help me properly and apologize and take care of the situation and handled it very well. Overall ended up being a good experience.
