Takoma Wellness Center

I’ve been to a lot of other centers, but to me, none compares to Takoma! The staff from the front door to the back of house, ever employee is kind a fully educated to help you make the best choice you can for your medicine. I do wish they had a bit more glass, but that’s a small concern.

I'm a newcomer to the medicinal cannabis world, so I can't vouch for the quality of the medicine just yet (not enough time has elapsed to determine what ,if any effect, it has had on my symptoms). However, as far as retail experiences go, it was quite pleasant. Very friendly and engaged staff. Seemed knowledgeable about their medicine and were adamant about a careful, methodical process to find strains and dosages that will be helpful. Still have some reservations about whether medicinal cannabis is right for me (and am skeptical that it is this all-powerful panacea some on the internet would have you believe), but I feel more comfortable exploring this possibility with attentive and compassionate caregivers like Takoma Wellness Center to help guide me through this process. It's easy to see why they have such a sterling reputation.

Every single staff member is so knowledgeable, the quality control and attention to detail is beyond what I expected, and overall it’s just a welcoming atmosphere. They’re excited to help you and it’s so clean. Great covid precautions as well. I drive almost 3 hours just to go here! Worth it 100%.

Came in today July 9th @ 5:30 was at the first register on the right the young lady had her head down on the phone didn’t even see I was standing there. So I just left customer service is important in my book and that experience just sucked.

Love the vibe at this location. Always great service and awesome menu selection. I appreciate how much they have to offer and very grateful this shop is here in my local neighborhood Takoma.

So i came as soon as they opened on the 1st of February. They were really helpful in checking me in even though my phone died. Also the atmosphere inside is controlled and chill, they have most of their flower on display and the staff is also very chill! Devery helped me with my order and i will be honest i loved the strawberry basil troches but the flower rosin i got was not up to par. Not his fault though, i chose it. Overall I am still satisfied

Showed up Saturday morning expecting it to be busy but it hadn’t got that way yet so I checked right in. Darian was helping me and know that I’m not down playing anyone else but I do like when Darian helps me because we enjoy the same strains and he’s very educated in the herbs. Besides that, I love being sure about what I’m getting but I never feel rushed. TWC staff rocks!🎸🎸🤘🤘🗿🗿

Talk about courtesy, professionalism, and going above and beyond. Asked for a cart recommendation and Nekisha, i believe was her name, was dead on. Euphoric and flavorful. Even had someone recognize a pin on my hat and just makes you feel like a family friend. They even come out with your order and go through each thing 1 at a time to ensure its what you wanted. Anytime I'm in dc visiting, this is the only place I want to go.

I had an issue ($20 overcharge...see my other review posted a week before this one). They reached out, offered to fix the issue and they did. Not easy to find such good customer service elsewhere. If I'm in D.C. I'm coming here to get my medicine. Highly recommended.

they're pretty chill and understanding of things I'm looking for even though I come in there completely confused every time. they're very direct and explaining the strains and the atmosphere is very welcoming and clean

Everything and I MEAN EVERYTHING is fantastic.....I'm over the bridge in va, I don't care how long it takes to get there and home....fast as 32 min one way and sometimes 1.5 hrs 1 way.....the BEAUTIFUL souls behind this business have become a STAPLE so those looking for an honesty caring facility! The amazing people who show up daily to keep the doors open are so f*cking IRREPLACEABLE! The security is great also. I want you to understand this is a "family" environment ALL this is with every single step of your visit, every single time. Products are great BUT that Is the last thing that brings me back..... bc the unquestionable best part is gaining them as family. I have VA med. And I SWEAR I came with my sister a week b4 I got my card and just sitting in the lobby convinced me this is were I need to be! TAKOMA WELLNESS CENTER IS A WHOLE VIBE! THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!!! I TRULY LOVE AND RESPECT YOU AND THE ESTABLISHMENT!!!! SOOO when I got my card I went straight to DC and this is the ONLY place I have ever used my card and will continue to do so. I will not spend my money with any where else......please to a moment to make a drive to Takoma Wellness Center....it's so worth it. I promise they will leave you feeling as I know I do. This is indeed ONE of the Best despensaries around the D.M.V. the customer service is legendary💙💯. The love ones at Takoma Wellness Center treats ALL with much patience & empathy. You WILL find a variety of flowers, edibles, papers, even topical creams made from cannabis products ect.=^_^=. Come join Takoma wellness center and help your self put your anxieties to rest.....^_~

The place is dumpy and parking is difficult. And their review begging is out of control. Otherwise it is okay but there are a lot of newer dispensaries open that were not available years ago when this place took off.
