Star Buds - Riverside

Great atmosphere I walked into. The energy was alive n welcoming from the security guard to the bud attendant good vives. I believe Natalie, was her name very informatic and had great advice found what I was looking for! :)

I have only been to this dispensary once, and I purchased a single unit of product. I went in because Star Buds was open later than my usual dispensary, and because they had attractive discounts. I came by bicycle from about three miles away, having posted an internet order. My visit lasted about three minutes. I seemed to be the only customer in the shop, which was getting ready to close. The interior is bright and inviting, and the shop area is efficient and clean. The hip hop on the sound system lent the place a "prepare to party" atmosphere instead of the "find healing" ambiance some dispensaries conjure up. The employees were fast, polite and kind. I did not have an opportunity to seek employees' knowledge because I was in and out quickly, and I came without any questions. However, I would return again, especially if the place continues to sell particular eighths at a massive discount. Star Buds seems to feature certain brands like Kaviar, which are not available in other dispensaries. It's worth looking at their website to investigate their discounts, which are often substantial. What's most notable is that, despite it being the end of the day, the employees provided me with courteous, speedy service without making me feel rushed or like I was annoying them. That's a tip other dispensaries in the near-west burbs might be keen to take. One tip for Starbuds: I know I'm in the minority, but a bike rack out front would be nice. I had to lock up on a street sign.

Lol it’s funny because I was leaving a 5 star review from my last visit and look how quickly that changed. I came in during the happy hour to get 20% off. I was trying to use dutchie pay and for whatever reason it wasn’t going through. So I ended up having to pay in cash. This caused a delay in my checkout. And instead of the person telling me that because it went 1 minute past 10am that the 20% off discount wasn’t going to apply he just charged me the full price. lol a joke. Don’t waste your time coming here. I would not recommend my friends to come here

Staff is friendly, helpful and informed on products. There are lots of great options to pick from. Overall, I am very happy to have them in our community. Thanks Mark for your help.

By far the best dispensary I've found in the Chicagoland area. Always helpful and smiling, the employees are nothing but great to deal with. There is always new product coming in and the product on hand is of the highest quality. Definitely my go to dispensary.

I'm very happy with the energy and customer service here. Both times my budtenders made great recommendations. The products are well priced as well. Nice to shop at a place where tax is included in the price you see. This now my go-to dispensary.

I had to share via this format, as Google wasn't cooperating with me. I'm an " industry " person. I choose to shop at Starbuds, especially the Riverside location. I don't live far from there,but I do pass by a handful of dispos' to get there. Here's my awesome reasons for going to Starbuds- Riverside. ::::: All eyes are on you when you arrive- in a positive way. Chances are good that you're greeted by your name. I was chatting it up with one of the partners- Mousa- as I often do. He knew that I'd been judging sativa flower for the Cannabis Cup, and needed something different. His choice for me was Lusty Lady, from BLAZE ( a Starbuds house brand). I can bore you with the nerd- in-me terpine specs,but I won't. I could geek out on the colors of dark purple, orange and green in the nuggs.- I'm not going to do that either. My experiences there NEVER feel just transactional. I met a new Budtender there. His name is Cameron. With every new team member I encounter, I envy them. The teamwork is making some dreams WORK! Please don't stop doing what you do.
