Great atmosphere! The staff helped me select the perfect strain for my back pain. Lots of space made social distancing a breeze. Highly recommend to visit at least once!! Great products and prices are right there or lower then most!!

Soooooooo it’s a vary cliquey place. Kinda comes with a small town. I dated a girl from John day at one point and because of that and issues me and her had the employee her friend decided to turn me down for business. I even gave the guy my side of stuff and should not have because it was non of his business. He choose to allow how he felt about someone jeopardize the place of business he works at. I asked to speak to the manager and low and be hold that who he is so I asked to be able to contact the owner of the store because if you read state law there is guidelines to refusing services it’s not like every one thinks just cause you own a business you can turn people down. In a privet setting you can but when you opened your doors to the public Oregon state laws states the person has to be a problem in the establishment. That never happened nor have I ever met the guy. The refusal to allow me to talk to the owners was over the top. I’m a business owner and if any of my employees did such a thing they would be on their way out the door. I have since tried to reach out to the owner in a private message and it’s been ignored. I have no problem going up on the hill where real business is done in sumpter and I where people are made to leave their personal lives at the door. Justin the owner of the nugget is a stand up man and runs his business so well. So anyone traveling on 26 I encourage you to just keep moving and stop off on the mountain in sumpter you will not regret that trip to that store or the town. Sucks the owners allow such a small place be affected. People that read this from this town are gonna go man when is something going to change. Now that I have been here for a little over a month. I hear and I understand now. But the problem is I’m a 500 dollar a week customer. 2 grand a month, 24,000 a year and that’s how I littterly buy my smoke. This company just lost that because a young man has a friend that had a bad relationship years ago 😂 then I was told he was going to invade my privacy and look into me. That alone was so uncalled for to say or do in work setting. Sucks to suck. I’m moving my business into this community and I’m sure this won’t be the end of my trash talk. For the out siders just keep moving John day weed store is meant for locals they prove it time and time again. I’m not the only one this guy hackels like this
