While I do wish Rise sold from every approved grower, I can say quality + selection is based on those companies. I’ve ‘grown’ to love the staff, their knowledge & willingness to help & learn right along with me. My only negative comment is, in retrospect, my ‘pharmacist appt’ left a LOT of info out that could’ve saved me a lot of time, money, & grief. Simply explaining at length the differences between all the products & offering cost/benefit info. I just starting using concentrates 6 months later, because I initially had no idea of the overall value. As a patient, ask tons of questions. Otherwise, every experience has been as it should & feels above n beyond at times.

Rise Erie & the people are first rate, can not say enough good about them, however I can say nothing good about Terrapin flower products. I have tried their product 4 times & it is the worst. So dry you can not even handle it, it just crumbles. Also it is not very well trimmed. Waste of time & money. The other suppliers that I have tried are fabulous. The only other gripe I have is I wish they would get more flower with higher THC levels like they have a couple of times. I missed the flower they had twice that was in the 30’s for THC, I did not know they would hold it until u got there.

Rise Cannabis Lake location on 8th Street has a professional and courteous staff EXCEPT for the Rent a Cop “security guard”. Their parking lot is atrocious and I managed to park my crew cab, 8 foot bed, dually in the lines provided for parking spaces but it wasn’t good enough for the Rent a Cop. He insisted I move my vehicle and refused to allow me to enter the premises to pick up my online order. Go to Peach St if you want ample parking and to avoid the power tripping “security guard”.

Dispensary rarely has flower in stock that could be considered "medical" grade. Most of the flower available ranges from 9-18% THC. Slim selection of strains in stock at any given time, if not out altogether.
My biggest problem and why I will no longer shop there is twice i a months time I've placed an online reservation for a product, and gotten home to find it was improperly listed on the menu. And it's BAD when it happens. First product was over 3000% weaker than listed, I hadn't cracked the seal and I called the number for the store and got routed to a call center in another state. They told me I could not return it to the store. The kid told me to take pictures of everything and email them to the manufacturer...at which point I had to remind him that this is a Rise screw up and I'm a patient, I don't get paid to fix mistakes like Rise employees. At this point he told me he'd have a manager call me from the store the following day. 2 days later I was calling to ask why I didn't get a call and the same kid said he'd send a memo that I didn't get a call that I was supposed to that day. I asked if this was the extent his power to fix my problem and he affirmed he couldn't do anything else. I finally did decide to burn off my rewards, not planning on shopping with them, I explained everything when I checked out and the kid at the counter was very sympathetic and actually refunded me my money!
I figured I was new to the program, maybe I just had bad luck and after some time passed I tried shopping with them again. Maybe 3 or 4 more pickups when what do I find? The 21% flower I reserved is 15%. And there never was any 20+% flower at all. Called the store number again and enquired as to why this keeps happening to me. I got someone real honest on the line and he explained their ordering menu doesn't work right, they're aware, they tried to no avail to fix it a month ago. I was explicitly told I would continue to have these problems as long as I use the website.
Unfortunately I was excited when I got home to give my birthday gift to myself a whiff, and I cracked the container open straight away. It wasn't til I went to use some of it that I noticed it was 25% weaker than what I ordered AND paid for. I figured I'd just stop up at the store since the call center gets you nowhere and see what, if any options there were. Obviously there wasn't a lot that they could do with the container opened. They did offer to throw me some store credit, I think it ended up being $10-$15 for a $60 mistake. One thing they did offer that might have helped someone else was apparently I could have exchanged the flower for wax...other than wax just fills me with anxiety. After running thru my options it seemed like the one where I lost the least money would be to just take the jar home and let it sit unused. At this point I asked for permission to just leave it with them since I knew I'd just be reminded of my frustration that day every time I saw the container, and they obliged.
So that's how much this dispensary can get under your nerves. Enough to just leave the $60/8th garbage they gave you after they falsely advertised it as being decent flower.

This was my first visit to a dispensary. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a very informative session with one of their staff. She was very friendly, helped ease my anxiety about the process, and made me feel very comfortable. She took her time to walk through the menu with me. She was never annoyed with my questions, and was willing to look up as many strains as I wanted. So far, I'm very happy with my products. Everything was very fresh.
Not a complaint, just a note; their inventory is heavy on cartridges, concentrates, etc. They currently have a smaller flower inventory, however that may be a function of flower being newer to PA. I'm hoping they grow their flower inventory in the future, but I'm not complaining at all about what they have so far.
