RISE Dispensaries Bethesda (Med)

Worst dispensary in Maryland. This is the closest dispensary to where I live and it doesn’t show up on weed maps anymore because of my bad reviews. They literally blocked me on weed maps and just had my negative reviews removed. Got an email saying basically they said I work for another dispensary. Hahaha no you guys are just garbage. I honestly wish you weren’t such vultures so I could buy my medicine without having to travel very far but like I said you’re the worst in Maryland. The most expensive dispensary with the worst employees you make none of your own products and you gauge the PATIENTS of Maryland. How do you think it’s cool to sell 120$ carts?

Overpriced

This place has got to the worst dispensary in all of Montgomery County, and one that I would not recommend to anyone, ever. First of all it is very inconveniently located, the dispensary does not have a store-front, you have to drive around to the back of an odd building and somehow find your way up to the 2nd floor where there is a door to RISE with the tiniest sign ever, first time there I got lost. But the real and main reason I would NEVER suggest going to this place is that they short the weight on almost all of their flower (except brands which they receive pre-packaged and not in bulk like Curio and Verano). The first time I got two 8th ofGhost OG and BOTH were short by 0.3g, amounting to a total 0.6g loss, that is WAY TOO MUCH! The second time I came back the next day after filing a complaint and exchanged it for Skywalker OG, I was literally amazed when I came home, measured it, and found out I was SHORTED AGAIN, this time by 0.21 and .12 coming to a 0.33g for the two 8th. This kind of stuff genuinely disheartens me, and has done so at RISE, where still in this day and age, people with real medical needs like myself, especially for the prices we pay, we get ripped off by dispensaries! THIS IS NOT OK! Also it wouldn’t hurt to say that the staff is air-headed and hardly knows anything outside of the words “THC” and “Myrcene”, no knowledge, or real experiance whatsoever. The atmosphere is nothing like that of an actual dispensary, if you did not know what it was honestly you might not be able to tell: the waiting room is alright, but the actual dispensary is TINY, it’s like 100 sq ft at best, crammed as heck. They don’t have ANYTHING on display, so you can’t EVER view flower, you can smell it from a container and kinda get a glimpse a it but that’s it, and nothing else like concentrates and tinctures/rso/edibles are also not on display. The people that work in there are hardly “bud-tenders” but more so salespeople that push things onto you that you don’t need, that’s the worst quality to have for a bud-tender, they don’t know much, but they’ll make sure to try n sell you what they can! Last but not least their prices are THE HIGHEST I’ve seen, crazy $60 8ths while it’s 50-45 everywhere else for the same thing, $18 preroll is only $12 at the next place, NO PRICE BREAKS ON FLOWER (which is crazy and means that an ounce of $60 8th is $480), and just overall terrible prices for mediocre stuff you can find for cheaper at every place nearby.

Be careful with the concentrates, I guess MD law doesn't allow them to show you the tubes before purchase. I've purchased 4 rythm tubes and 2 of the 4 where so dark they looked brown with very poor taste. The other 2 where very quality with a clear yellow color and great flavor. I can understand the dispensary will take any product due to early shortages. But with current pricing the product should be superior. That's really the only reason I left off some stars for these guys. I know they don't make the product but hope they can start differentiate between good tubes and poor quality ones so people don't get stuck with a $90 tube that's inferior. Hopefully this is just growing pains

Small, cold, bright, sterile, CROWDED uncomfortable wait room. 40 minute wait. Felt a bit overwhelmed by the budtender's advice - too many choices. They hadn't tried the things I was asking about. I did not like the product. No thanks!! Waiting for more dispensaries to open. Won't be back.

Went to this place on opening day. Very reasonable wait time and excellent customer service. When I got home I found one of the containers empty and called to explain the issue. The staff was very accomadating and gave me a free 1/8th in return for the inconvenience. Overall great staff, service, product, and location!

Really cool place....Bud tender seemed to be knowledgeable about the product...very pleasant experience would recommend.

Very professional, very knowledgeable, overall an excellent experience. Location is nice, parking on site, secure building, great environment. This was my first visit here and was awesome. I was in and out I'd say in about 15 minutes.

This place has very friendly staff and a decent selection for the 2nd day opening. Got a nice 3x shirt and medicine journal for free. Looking forward to their Cannabidiol products, as CBD helps me more for pain. Prices are high, but I'm also used to getting Colorado medicine for $3-$5 a gram.

Not a lot to choose from, but very high quality bud. No CBD as of yet. Best dispensary I've been to in Maryland.

Even though it was very busy, they were able t maintain a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I never felt pressured towards any specific product and didn’t feel rushed at all. The quality is good, but the selection is still somewhat limited since the Maryland industry is still getting off the ground.

I have been here a handful of times as it’s the closest one to me during the day. I must say, the deals they have are great. The overall effects of the Flower products is fine, but there seems to be something strange about the flower itself. Everything I have gotten from this place seems to have the same smell and taste. Not the smell and taste of the actual stain, but something different all together. And most of the buds are extremely dry and crumbled. Which helps with weight, but burns extremely fast. Also not a fan of a lot of their packaging. Other dispensaries around seem to have better quality flower and packaging. The service and assistance making the proper choices is great though. With so many locations opening up around the state, I feel these guys need to step up their game a bit.

So happy this is my local dispensary. Been several times and each visit the staff was professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. They definitely work to get to know the patient and what might work best for each individual situation. I respect the transparency they have in terms of products and availability, and it easy to see that these truly care about what they’re doing. Thanks!!

I made my first purchase as a patient yesterday at RISE Bethesda. I live about an hour away from their location, but it was definitely worth the drive. I knew what I wanted before I walked in as I was able to view their menu online. The staff was very welcoming and kind. I really liked the way the dispensary was set up. The products I received were high quality and I will definitely be stopping by again.

I’ve been here twice now and I can say the vibe and employees are superb. They are friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Just hoping for more variety and better prices as the program gets underway here in Maryland.

Great with point System but if you want Tampered and contaminated products that been open and used carts as a example I've had Multiple Occasions Where is my cartridge has been used and opened and very Obvious also I've had to who's been too lazy to put the cap rubber cap back on I hope they take Their jobs more as a medical profession this is our medicine also very Expensive medicine plus covid 19 is currently happening !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
