In response to the below review: I signed up as a med patient the day it was legalized in MD, and have been going primarily to Pharmakent since. I’ve been to numerous dispensaries in the US, and this is one of the best. They do NOT ever mention whether or not you’re a med patient, and they only call you by first name. My name is super unique and I couldn’t care less how many strangers know I’m legally buying bud... it’s not a HIIPA breach lol, doctor’s offices do the same. As for queue (as rec), it’s very simple if you pay attention. You can order online, and they’ll text you when it’s ready, then you won’t wait long at all. You can join the online waitlist before going in, then you will be called in before walk-ins, obviously. If you just show up, as is the case with any restaurant, you have your name put on a list and have to wait your turn. As a medical user, however, you can show up and obviously you get in faster than rec. I say obviously, because we pay extra for essentially JUST THAT, plus a higher allowance, but that’s already tough to reach unless you’re (illegally) reselling. The longest I’ve waited while it was super busy was 15-20 minutes. Doctors’ waiting rooms take longer!
Anyways, EVERY staff member I’ve come across has been above-and-beyond friendly and knowledgeable. They talk about Terpenes, will give you recommendations based on whatever you tell them, and they NEVER rush you.
This place is great, from quality, to staff, to pricing. Just put your joint down and read the damn info they plaster all over the website before going in!
The staff took the time to recommend and explain all of the products to a brand new patient. I went in nervous and came out feeling good about the purchases and the choices we made. Highly recommend this place to other patients who are new to cannabis.
They were SUPER busy today, but they always come out on top! Fast and friendly service! Please wear a mask when picking up your orders, these employees are working hard for YOUR health!
I've been a patient at PharmKent for 2 years. The people and the atmosphere are amazing. Very knowledgeable. The quality is always top shelf. I feel they make sure not to pass along swag. Prices are great and really amazing if you shop the daily deals. Thanks PharmKent
The staff are very knowledgable and friendly. It has a laid back atmosphere with a very nice waiting room. As far as the products they recieve from growers, its a hit or miss. Some weeks they have a nice selection and other times it is scarce. The popular strians they do have sell out quick i would ateongly suggest placing an order on hold til you get there. They also have a delivery service. All in all this is a decent dispensary.
I love the atmosphere here, very calming and relaxing, with highly knowledgeable staff. Never a long wait. They listen to me ramble on and on about Star Wars so they must be super nice! They always have the awesome flower I want.
