NETA - Brookline (Boston) - Rec

This place served as the gold standard when we first passed legalization of mmj. This place was so insanely busy that it was really hard to shop here if you had physical limitations or couldn't deal with crowds, and strain and weight limits were a pain. However, it's calmed down a lot. There are usually 8 strains of flower offered, nice variety. A lot of it tests lower than it did a year ago, but they still have many stand out strains, especially sativa (many other shops are limited in sativa options). If you like Rem pens, they have a vast selection. In my opinion, their chocolate bar is the best around (I prefer the hybrid bar but all 3 are great). Also, this place is a non-profit, which I really like. No real cons for NETA except the location can be tough to get to and they close earlier than shops that are closer to me, so I can only really get to them on the weekend. My other areas for improvement for NETA seem to already been implemented. They've got seating all along where you stand in line so you can sit if it's really busy, and if you are overwhelmed by people or have anxiety issues they can offer you consultation in a separate room. Also, I haven't used it lately but they do have a setup where you can do "to go" orders by filling out a slip if you know exactly what you want already. Great place. I'd visit more if they were closer/open later.

I love this dispensary so much! Everyone who works there is super friendly and wicked knowledgeable about all their products! I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful location and two options: wait in line for a budtender who will answer your every question or fill out a form to go the express route. Pretty much everything here is great except the non-APEX cartridges.

This place is terrible. They hand you a menu for the day and half the stuff on it isn’t available. Went in for black triangle and was told they were out. Asked for gg4 then, they were out of that too. Stood in line for 45 mins to walk out empty handed when I could have been told immediately they were out of that strain.

Have to say it was surreal going into the huge old bank building in the heart of Boston and being able to comfortably and safely purchase marijuana. Great selections of strains and knowledgeable staff

I have always loved this location, strains have always been great, people super friendly etc, but today I was pretty disappointed. Picked up some of my favorites - GSC and Flo OG - and they are both lacking in taste and smell 😕 Where's the delicious earthiness I've come to expect from Flo? They both work fine, medicinally​ speaking, but I'm one of those people who really wants to taste the yummy flavors!

This was the first place I visited. I should never of done that. They are the gold standard and the other dispensaries just don't hold up. The worst part of this place is parking may take a few minutes. That's it. The experience is fantastic, with a fast pass option that you just fill out the order form and they get it. If you want to smell the flower and talk about it and what it is good for, they have that as well. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. You can decide the quantity after smelling and they keep themselves well stocked. I hope they expand into other locations , if not they are my go to.

I really hate having to go here. After a year of being open this place has only gotten worst... the staff are all visibly burnouts and recommend their personal favorite strains instead of anything helpful (I need strong pain relief and the staff is always trying to sell me sativas) more than once I've had a staff member say they don't like indica so they haven't used the ones on the menu, great that's not what I asked. The prices are a little better than other places, but this place doesn't care about providing medicine at all, the propelyne glycol in the cartridges and poorly trained, visibly high staff prove it. Their Northampton location puts this one to shame, they're so professional there. I can't recommend this place over the other ones near by.

I’m finding their Apex carts always have an issue. The heating element came out on 2 separate carts and then the most recent one I bought won’t rip for anything. I hate the layout. It’s not cozy and it’s loud and not relaxing. Parking lot sucks too.

They are just in it for the buck and not the patients, it's honestly just sad not going here for another year

NETA was the first cannabis dispensary I visited upon receiving my state med-mary credentials. Legit. U can't beat $50 off 1st time visit and each referral. Easy access via. T, car etc. When u arrive u have the option of street or parking lot. Local PD on-site at door check. After u pass through the door u are smacked with the dank bank smell. After passing through the second credential check u are greeted by a person at a concierge stand offering guidance through their purchase options. Grab a menu and u can wait in line for a bud tender to walk u thru products or if u know exactly what u want, choose the express line to expedite ur visit. NETA has a wide product line of Flower, concentrate and edibles with purchase limits on flower, o. the other hand their flower is not pre packaged... The team and atmosphere are great - cool old bank. Prices are strong but they have discounts and tons of service with high quality meds, famous strains.. NETA offers an oral cannabis tincture that will cure what ails u for about 6 hours -3 to 4 drops will do u. If u are in the Boston area NETA is a go to dispensary.

If you are going to a dispensary for the first time, this is the one to start with. The building is perfect and u can feel an exciting buzz in the air the second u walk in. They greet u with a menu the second u go in and ask if you have been there before. U can wait in line and order with bud tender or sit on couches & hand an order form to a runner. Great selection & top notch knowledge from entire staff. I've never been to another dispensary where everyone is so happy to be there. Well done, the gold standard in Mass. Now if they could open another one south of Boston, I'd never go any where else.

I just love NETA. A+ service

I like this dispensary with it's old world charm; the architectural design elements from the former bank make it a fun stop. I went there yesterday and picked up their strain: Sweet Tooth, and from the kushy aroma when the associate first opened the container I knew that I was in for a real treat! The herb is kind with a wonderful flavor profile and aromatics. I would recommend this strain to anyone needing a new perspective but you may wish to wait until the chores are done first as there is a significant lack of motivation and even couch lock if you indulge in too much. In small doses it is great for bike rides but only with the ubiquitous safety gear, of course. I'm really liking this strain; good job, folks!

I need to update a negative review, seeing as the situation was justified and made right by a wonderful woman at Neta I spoke with. I don’t wanna give her name out(LF), but she treated me like the honest hard working human being I am, compared to the very nice but very inept assistant mngr I spoke w Sunday evening. So in hindsight, I should’ve waited a extra day and contacted somebody different before leaving a negative comment. Here’s why. LF took the time n spoke to me on the phone. Made me feel a million times better within 5min of speaking to her! Such a nice person who takes the patients ordeals into account instead of just the organization she works for. Which is fantastic btw! I am truly satisfied and couldn’t be happier with the way LF treated me. Not because of what happened, but because of the way she spoke to me and took into account my total time spent and the hassle of the whole situation. I was more than satisfied and not expecting her to do what she did. But that extra step will make me a believer in ppl at Neta or at least her when it comes to resolving a issue taking the patients time and effort into consideration. She treated me with the utmost respect. She was so very pleasant and friendly. She’s very understanding to the patients time n effort they put into getting their medicine at Neta. I know one person isn’t much, but she just saved Neta a customer vs just going down the st to my nearest dispensary. I suffer from extreme anxiety and she made me feel so much better I can breathe again! Now that’s the Neta I though I knew and loved!! They do stand by their customers just as much as their product! The place is a great dispencery, but since there aren't any others around to compete with them, they treat their business like a monopoly. The prices for everything are through the roof. It is for medical patients only, so why take advantage of us like this?

Recreational flower menu is a joke!! I think they pre-package the products in bigger containers due to the 1/8th limitation. Plastic containers ruin the trichomes too. What you end up with is a harsh low quality flower. Not the same as medical. 3rd visit, same story! Won't be going there until they remove the rec limit or package differently.

Bud tender didn’t tell me they substituted my order and the bud had no smell, did some research and i guess they dip their bud in hydrogen peroxide. This removes terps and the medical profile of the buds. Beware the quality isn’t worth half the price or the struggle. These guys only care about the $$$ and not patients and selling quality product, stay away!

I love the staff at the Brookline, MA location. They’re so friendly and helpful and they always make the effort to make you feel welcome and appreciated. I’ve gotten to know some of you over the last year or so since you opened and you’re all awesome. I’m your biggest fan. 😘❤️😎 Oh...and the flower and dose bars are great.

I was so surprised with the place. I've been to 2 other dispensaries and this was the best in terms of atmosphere. It was the only one that didn't make me feel uncomfortable with the security/check in process. They still make you go through check points and take your identifications but they are kind and welcoming while they do it, not looking you up and down and assuming I'm not a legitimate patient or something. The flower bud was amazing!!! The best I've found in a while. The prices are higher than I would agree is fair, but the product works so well I don't need as much so I'll suck it up and pay. They have a wide selection of products, the dose chocolate bars are so yummy and have pure chocolate taste. I will be going here as my regular dispensary.

Insanely crowded a lot but still a good place. The Boston area definitely needs to hurry up and open more shops.

Great flowers and compassionate friendly service. Also the best prices out of ALL of the dispensaries I've seen so far. I wish Leafly hadn't gotten rid of all the delivery caregivers but NETA is pretty awesome. They have a great $49 off any $50 order for first time customers going too!
