Nectar - Eugene River

Confused on how this is the "#1 Dispensary in Oregon", when it's overall rating is equal to Next Level Wellness, yet they have 630 reviews. Y'all have 100. How was the #1 title decided?

This place really killed my buzz! You can't even see the bud until you run the gauntlet of describing to a budtender what you want! YOU CAN'T SEE THE MARIJUANA except the budtender will open a little jar, one by one at your request, and let you see down into the top (even the sides of the jars are blocked with labeling). The weed I saw had no smell, no crystals. I don't want to hear a budtender act like a wine sommelier - and I don't want to be run through what feels like a corporate sales routine designed by a committee somewhere to give me some kind of fake 'experience' in order to take my money.

First off would just like to say the environment very friendly along with the staff. Everything in store experience was great, BUT the lack of selection of product was my 2nd biggest concern (compared to most of the other shops I've been in). My real problem was when I got home with my Quarter it was all moldy and gross. Now this has happened 2 out of 4 visits for me. The two positive experiences were when they replaced the moldy product. - thank you by the way. But I have found far superior flowers elsewhere, and that's why I don't recommend Nectar unless you need CHEAP product. The inconsistencies of product will not be bringing me back.

I've had a bit of a love/hate relationship with this place since it opened...and it continues to be a tricky relationship. They do have a pretty awesome selection of products. Their flower selection is generally well-curated and the diversity of pricing accurately correlates to quality offered. There is something here for everyone's budget and taste. Their selection of cartridges is also impressive, and pricing on these seems very competitive. The general atmosphere and sleekness of their packaging is very appealing to those of us who appreciate aesthetics. Be warned that during peak times, this place can get busy and you might be waiting in line for a while. I've been less impressed with their staff over the years compared with other dispensaries in town. Their attempts at different versions of a loyalty program in the past years has been tricky, meaning that I lost accumulated points no fewer than three times. The young man who assisted me last time was so vague about the newest system, I couldn't even understand what "rewards" we're available. Their staff also seems to have a tendency to want to get you in and out quickly. Last time I barely had time to glance at the menu before the budtender was asking questions and quickly trying to narrow my focus and "suggest" seemingly random strains. I know what I like and can usually choose quickly, but these guys need to give me a minute to look at strains and numbers. Don't try to rush me like I'm at the damn McDonald's drive thru. That all being said, Nectar is worth a visit because of their diverse inventory. They also offer great deals and bundles from time to time, so that can make it worth tolerating their lackluster service. One last thing: their parking lot is a nightmare!

This is the number one store in Oregon for REC for good reason. First of all, the flower is consistently better from top to bottom than any other shop in town. In addition, they have sales/discounts every single day. Buy one get one eights every Sunday. - this deal alone beats every single shop in town by a HUGE margin. They have PRE ROLLS! and when I say PRE ROLLS I mean PRE ROLLS if you know what I mean? I'd say that they have maybe 30 or so fat fat pre roll strains available every single day! Pre roll Friday is a deal where they will give you 2 FREE pre rolls if you buy over 20 bucks worth of stuff. Who in town does this?? That's right, NO ONE! If you get a pre roll somewhere else, it's going to be shake from the bottom of the jar or clippings. Not only that but you are lucky if they can jam more than .50 in the pre roll. At Nectar on the other hand, 1g plus pre rolls every single time starting at 4 bucks. Every single store in this town has basically priced themselves out of the REC market. I stopped going after the 25% tax until I heard about Nectar. Now there are two ways to get REC pot. Number 1 NECTAR. NUMBER 2 The Blackmarket. Thank you Nectar, I hope this helps some people understand why you are number one by a mile. Also, maybe encourage more shops to try to rise up and give you a run for my money! ha

I drove across town since Leafly menu showed this location having Granddaddy Purple. The menu listed an ounce price. When I arrived, the staff said they only had ONE GRAM of Granddaddy Purple and its their policy that a strain stays on their menu as long as they have one ounce. Bullshit. Other dispensaries do not show prices for quantities they no longer have in stock, and when only one gram is available, it should either be off the menu or stated as such. Additionally the place has a lifeless look both inside and out. Fortunately there are non-chain dispensaries in town that have better business practices. I will never patronize a Nectar store anywhere again.

So I'm a medical patient which doesn't mean much if you come here. If there is a line to have your ID checked you wait and you wait to go back in the bud room as recreational smokers go back before you. The first time I went the bud tender wasn't very pleasant. Seemed annoyed when I wanted to see certain strains. They grab you the jars your supposed to buy to smell so the 1/8 jars are opened constantly which makes the bud very dry. When I buy bud here I normally have to throw a boveda 62 pack in there for a couple days before its even smokeable. Great for the novice smoker or someone trying to try a wide variety of strains. If you decided to park in the parking lot like I did you probably got trapped! You can park down the side streets but warning the neighbors there hate it.

There are a few places on River Road to check out for Cannabis, but this one is my go-to. The up-to-date menus out on the counter make it easy to understand the price and quality of your purchase, and the knowledgeable and friendly staff top it all off to make it an optimal experience. The space itself is very open and inviting, and the variety in price and product type leaves something for everyone to enjoy. A+++ every time. :)

Quality leaves something to be desired - "#1 dispensary in Oregon" is a misleading advertisement as there are dispensaries with better quality\price, better top shelf, better concentrates, the list goes on.. Simply put, the medicine is average. Not bad, but definitely not anywhere near #1. The service however is very good, it was laid back yet I got my meds quick and easy.

I've visited just about every dispensary in town, moving here just months after dispensaries began popping up, and I thought I'd seen,or tasted it all. I even had a top five...before I let my OMMP card lapse most of the winter. I mean I don't know if I'll go to any dispensary on my list after this first Nectar visit. Nectar had a wonderfully knowledgeable staff, stocked shelves, many different products and unbeatable prices-I looked around. "I had to," said the wallet. And I know there's a lot of compassionate people running beautiful establishments, all of whom I'd love to say high too, pun intended, at some point or another. But, Nectar is, dare I say it...otherworldly. A $20 eighth of quality cannabis, in a Jar! with a classy label and pertinent strain specific information. 😳 Aces all across the board! Of course next time I visit I'll be purchasing a classy t-shirt to represent a classy and compassionate establishment that truly catered to this patient's needs. And wants, when I snag a t-shirt that is. Thank you, Daniel. I hope I remembered your name. Staff are nice and very cool, however, I picked up some flower from the $14 tier. It was awful! Dry and very crumbly, so dry it hurts my throat. Looks like it hasn't been stored properly. I know this because i get the same strains from other dispensaries and its always fresh, and smokes very smoothly. Sorry for the bad review just looking out for my medical fellows out there.

I LOVE this place. The staff is so knowledgeable and patient and product great! On a recent trip in, upon checkout, found out that the computers were down. We had to calculate my purchase by hand. No worries, all was fine. Upon returning here 1 week later , they had found that I was over charged and had my cash refund in an envelope in the back! I was shocked and very thankful that truly honest people and businesses are still out there! 😊 Thank you, Nectar!!

This is by far the best dispensary in Oregon! I will go nowhere else.

If it wasn't for the people working here I probably would never go back but they're great. The product(s) I saw and purchased were fair at best. Rushed to market with little to no cure and little to no taste. Overall the product has a very industrial feeling to it and the shop itself does as well. But again let's end on a positive note - the staff that I dealt with was incredibly friendly and adequately informed. Quality 3 star (2.5 is better) Service is 5 stars - really great! Atmosphere is non-existent - no feel and little vibe.

This is my go to place. The employees are super chill, laid back, and always full of information.

I've been in here before and she is THE best one there. Out of ALL the people upfront, definitely my favorite. Super kind, friendly and attentive, even when the other customers were snotty, impatient or annoying. She makes me want to return out of all the dispensaries I've been to, she has the best vibes. Real and doesn't seem like a fake person. I really appreciate that.! PRO;Great selection of strains,and great prices!! There always seems to be a good deal. CON; There was an older lady that I witnessed snap at another employee. DISTASTEFUL considering there were several customers in the waiting room. I've also experienced a bit of a superficial vibe when it comes to some ladies in the back, except for a girl or two. Yesterday some chick talked me out of the 9lb hammer. I got some today and it was bomb, wish I wouldn't have taken her advice. I don't want to hear the word like a million times and I dont care that you think you are fashionable or hip!! Know what you're talking about ~! PROS;The info I've got from the guy with the glasses has been really helpful. The other dudes seem like they just want tips or something idk. Overall I'd definitely go back, get some more free stuff to give away. I want stickers!

Good Location, great selection! Parker is the best bud tender. I like that they give you glass jars for flowers.

When I come in the associates are polite and more than willing to answer my questions.
