Staff is always helpful and friendly. Prices are steep but some of the bud is worth the price. Edibles and pens aren’t potent enough if you’re a heavy toker FYI.

I bought the Wedding Cake Shake by Simply Herb this time. $128 for an ounce of “shake” that I found what seemed to be chopped up stems; and not just the twigs from trimming buds but what seems to be pieces of larger stems. The flavor and smell were a bit green, while the consistency was about that of a single grind though it tended to clump together which lent to the green flavor. It could have used a longer cure time before packaging. The product was harvested in May 2023 and packaged June 2023. I will say the buzz from the Wedding Cake was quite nice. I started with a half dozen hits off my dry herb vaporizer with an initial lift of euphoria that segued into a strong head and body high that stretched out over three or four hours. Would have been nice to get a better cure to improve flavor but at $128 an Ounce for a value brand, if you get the chance, go for it.

Everyone was so helpful and nice! The lady (Terri?) paid attention to the symptoms I need to treat, and led me to products that would be appropriate for those symptoms. They helped me put together a collection of products within my budget. The high CBD/low THC strain I was recommended (Pure Love) did exactly what I needed it to do - treat my pain without making me too drowsy or stoned like my former medication (cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril) did. A an aside - I don't mean to talk bad about Flexeril. Flexeril is very good medicine, and is better for some things (like muscle spasms) than cannabis, but it's very addictive and it would put me to sleep. So, it didn't usually help me to be functional - I either couldn't do anything because I was in too much pain, or I couldn't do anything because it put me to sleep. The Pure Love strain which Terri(?) recommended treated my pain but didn't zonk me out. With so many choices, I was glad that they were able to find me one that worked for me on my first visit. I was impressed.

I loved everything about my visit here but Kendal and Mark M made sure that we got everything we needed with superb customer service. I’m not from IL so it’s a nice place to visit.

Spice up your daily specials .....

I purchased a DB cartridge from MedMen having no idea what it was. Apparently a special battery is required. I called and reported a defective cartridge and the store manager educated me on the apparatus and how to use it. Recommend!!!!

The associates were all friendly and assistive, and they explained my order to me and any discounts I had on my transaction. I purchased gummies and flower. The gummies definitely gave me a great body high, and the flower is very nice. Just a chill, laid back high. I will definitely keep MedMen in my list of dispensaries to go to!

For my first time going to a dispensary, it was easy and simple, the products were great and I can’t really complain at all.
