Magnolia Road Cannabis Co. Boulder (REC)

This is the place you want to squanch your squanch if you know what's schwifty. This place does a brisk business because of its awesome (and I mean awesome) prices (also a hub for picking up online orders which I didn't even know were a thing) but in spite of the place being jammed, the staff go out of their way to make you feel appreciated as a customer. Cody gave me 10% off my order, which was already very reasonably priced, just because. Well I should clarify: apparently they have some kind of special going on where they were giving people 10% off if they wrote a review; Cody gave me this in advance (incidentally, the closest I've come to getting an advance on writing ANYTHING in my 16 year career as a professional writer) and giving someone a discount based on the nodded acquiescence that they'll maybe post a review online is essentially giving them it just because, which is nice. The entry space/waiting room did feel notably cramped, as the business does not have quite enough real estate to deal with the demand, and they've chosen to invest the vast majority of the real estate they do have in the room where the bud itself is on display. This is either a good or a bad thing depending on how many people are in line ahead of you, I suppose. Once you are inside there's an immediate sense of camaraderie and an impression you are among kindred spirits. When I see someone is wearing a Rick & Morty T-Shirt, I immediately know that I can talk to them comfortably, about weed or nearly anything else. I am visiting the Red Headed Stranger as I write this and I can safely say the bud on sale certainly does the job. Jesus is this the longest shop review anyone has ever made on Leafly dot com? I could have probably gotten away with 50 words easily and it would still have been on the long side. How many words did I just type? I'm stoned.

and they gave me the wrong ones. they didnt present them they just threw things in the bag and stapled it closed. when i got to the hotel and noticed i called and spoke to a 'manager' Jason who not only refused to make it right but refused to check the tape and refused to check the receipt. then he proceeded to explain that this has been a common issue there and they havent stopped it and never make it right for the customer. Worst dispensary and worst customer service in colorado. they may have good prices but the dollar you save isnt worth the possible downsides. go to elements in boulder instead

This place is legit the best dispense in Boulder. Cheapest flower and quality never disappoints.

I went in for a quick pick up to take with me on a hike. Everyone in there was super nice. Totally refreshing atmosphere. I’ve been to a few dispensaries with some cranky people. It was nice to see people happy to do their job! Melissa was awesome at figuring out what would be a good fit for me since I have a really high tolerance, she helped me find a great pre-roll and some bud that was much better quality than what I’ve been getting. I’ll definitely be back when I get back up to Boulder for another hike.

Probably the worst dispensary experience I've ever had, and definitely the worst Med dispensary experience I've had. The staff here seems to be pretty lackadaisical and unprofessional, will little to no attention to detail. This place may be decent for Rec, but if you're a Med patient looking for good service, I'd 100% steer clear. They don't even know how to separate med from rec transactions, involving different tax rates for either. Spend your money elsewhere, people

This place always has great deals, I like that their flower isn’t prepackaged like a lot of places now. Chris is the best he’s knows a ton about all their products!

Literally the worst quality I’ve ever seen. The prices are crazy cheap, so if you are really broke than maybe give this place a shot. But to put the quality in perspective the last time I came in the weed smelled exactly like hay and looked just as bad as it smelled. I won’t be shopping here again and I don’t Recommend you shop here unless your on a really tight budget.

When I got to the dispensary to get my order, not only was it not ready, but they didn't have any of the strains I had ordered, and I had to get all of the syringes with the same strain. If that was the case, the dipesnasy should have informed me at my check out on leafly and allowed me to make that decision before I was at the dispensary for pick up. This was a very disappointing experience and I will not order from this dispensary again.

They have great deals on quality brands of edibles but besides that their quality has gone down the drain. The budtenders are not educated on what actually goes into their products (such as the bud which is being flushed with chemicals they were unaware of what they were) and they will really try to sell you on something that isn’t great quality. They sold me a pre-roll with only 11% THC and claimed it to be top shelf... I have not seen any strain that low in THC being sold in a dispensary that doesn’t make up for the low percentage in CBD. Don’t go here for good quality.

Magnolia road went above and beyond in a successful attempt to perfect their customer service. The long story short is that our expectations weren’t entirely met the first two visits. Anyone who shops at dispos knows that completely fulfilled expectations are nearly impossible to achieve, especially in a low cost environment such as Magnolia. However, the team- and more specifically Melissa and Oscar- weren’t satisfied with anything less than exemplary. Melissa reached out and replaced our gram with a beautiful jar of glconcentrates and then took an entire 20% off our order. We went home with enough product to last the COVID freak out as well as money for that sweet sweet delivery food we love so much. Oscar spent 30 minutes showing us product and gauging our needs. He didn’t oversell and he wasn’t lazy either. He understood that we know what we like and gave us the personalized shopping experience that makes him stand out as a budtender and makes Magnolia stand out as a shop.

Best dispensary in Boulder!

Great spot for cannabis at an affordable rate! The selection and prices are set up so that you can get a good deal on non-top shelf, and the budtenders are highly knowledgeable about what works best for peoples' needs. The edibles selection is on par with what you'd find in Colorado, and my neighbor always brings home quality concentrates from Magnolia. The design of the dispensary is Spartan compared to other spots which doesn't affect the quality of the bud, but it is a spot for improvement. Overall, if you're on a budget or you're looking for something high quality and different, this is the place to check out.
