Lume Cannabis Co. – Kalamazoo

Went to Lume today an hour before close for the first time. After waiting for 45 mins I was then approached by whom I assume to be Mario,(budtender on my receipt) with a “what do you want “ and a hand out to grab my card and ID, may I also mention this man wasn’t wearing a mask and got my name wrong twice. I waited another 15 mins for a man who was nicer and sent me off with my product(I will not shoot the messenger he was kind) , which was nicely packaged and smelled and tasted great. That environment was not a selling point , I will not be back.

Well, I had nothing better to do on a Saturday night than to be price gauged on mediocre product so I thought I'd head over to Lume. I placed my order online around 8:00 pm and received an email that it was ready about 5 minutes later. I arrived shortly thereafter to an insane line of cars which I already expected due to driving past the place previously. This was approximately 8:15 pm. There were three cars behind mine when they closed off the lot to new customers. One hour later, I finally was approached by an associate who asked if someone had taken my ID. I said no and was then told that I would have to come back tomorrow to pick up my order that had been ready for the last hour! What the hell?? How is this any way to transact business? What was the point of closing the lot off? If close to 9:00 pm you knew you weren't going to be able to get to the remaining vehicles, how about issuing a notice via text/email with a damn apology for poor planning and some sort of remedy to the situation. I immediately cancelled my order. What a piss poor way to run a dispensary. I've been in the legal industry for over 10 years and have worked with dozens of operators across the country from Harborside to Om. I've never been so confounded by terrible management. The entire experience at Lume was so atrocious I will not be returning to this or any of their locations. The COO had previously stated "Our goal is to ensure every customer has an amazing experience every time they come in.” Ha, good luck! I will be frequenting our LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED stores from now on rather than giving another dime to this grossly mismanaged corporate behemoth.

I've been to Lume a few times (a few times in-store, and the last time through the drive-through). I recommend that you purchase your items online before arriving if you are sure to what product you want. If not, then the staff seem friendly and most things are described pretty well, but I feel like you generally wait longer to get into the store and to make a purchase. I know what product and price I want to spend, so I have always used their website to purchase before arriving. They have have never had issues finding my order. I waited about 15 minutes in the drive-through with about 8 cars in front of me. Hardly a wait, and well worth it. They are very organized! From what I got the buds are always fresh and the containers are sealed. I've never found large stems or seeds, and the buds have a distinct Lume size/look which sets them apart from other brands. The buds are fluffy and trichomes large. The indicas are especially large and set themselves apart from other Michigan bud right now. Their sativas have similar traits and you can tell they are from Lume (or their growers). I also purchased some sugar and it has great aroma and flavor. Best prices around at $45 a gram. The Jenny Kush is some of the best concentrate I've had in awhile. Check out Lume ASAP

First time visit today. The place was awesome, the staff was friendly, and the herb was top notch. My budtender Tommy was super helpful. Will definitely be back.

Always a great visit. Every time I go into their shop I am greeted by friendly people. Whether it may be the front desk, bud tender or the security guard. They really know their stuff and have great quality! Definitely recommend do-si-do!

$80 for 50%+thc Lume brand concentrates is a joke.

I loved molly she was very knowledgeable and personable..i purhased a cartridge strawberry cough..AMAZING!!!

They are doing a good job even with Covid going on. They are doing only curb side and wearing gloves and masks, and bins that don't require anyone touching anything except the bin with your fingertips.
