Lake Effect - Portage (Medical)

Being the only dispensary in the Kalamazoo area, I love it! Being able to get good quality bud with a friendly staff is awesome. The staff is super friendly and always welcoming. They strike up conversations with you and always remember you when you come in again. My only complaint is they never have pre-rolls consistently, only on some days, but there's never a pattern to it.

Professional staff, clean and well maintained facility. Medicine was well presented and well organized so even a guy like me who doesn't know a lot about strains could figure it out. Putting the menu out front is a good idea which none of the dispensaries I've been to have. Only negatives to me were sort of feeling crammed against the windows when you walk in while there's quite a bit of space behind the desk. A better layout might

could use a bit more advrtisments on the outside and a little bigger room to view the medication the guy and (beginner) girl were very respectful and they were also talented and focused on what meds suit u best I'd highly recommend LAKE EFFECT 👍👑☺ A little pricey but u get what u pay 4 Definitely good quality!!!

I drive an hour to come to this dispensary because I'm always impressed with the professionalism and method of ordering. They also have a more extensive availability of products. Every staff member is professional, knowledgeable, and being a recent medical user myself, they always help me in questions I have.

If you come here you will not be disappointed. I've been smoking well over 10 years and this place that the best bud and bud tenders around! Can promise you wont leave unhappy 🥰😍 they usually see me 3 times a week. Definitely a fan!

Absolutely love this place. Problem is I have had to wait such a long time to receive my orders. Last time I just left.

What can't I say. They feel like family to me. Now don't get me wrong, there have been rough patches. But the newer staff are completely amazing, okay and so are my original staff members, the og. lol. The staff is educated, they have certain budtenders that know about the different types of the product, and they just seem to care. Sam, Kyle from lake effect (ha sam), JB, you guys are just the most patient, and knowledgeable with me and my issues. But Jeremy, Jenni, Stephanie, you guys have been a great asset to me and continue to help me figure things out on rough days. The newer products, competitive prices, and overall staff is a one in a million. Thank you for truly caring and being patient with me and my disabilities. Thank you for getting to know me in order to help me best. Thank you for making me feel like family.
