La Mota Northeast Portland

La Mota has been ripping people off for a while. My girlfriend went in to buy a quarter ounce of Willie Nelson was asked three times and she confirmed she wanted the quarter. The guy behind the counter weighs her out a quarter, the takes out half, (3.5 grams) then charges her $100 dollars (price of a quarter ounce of Willie Nelson) but she only received an eighth which costs $60. They ripped her off $60. We were driving home when I realized what had happened. We went back and they told us "Oh yeah, this happens all the time, our system has a glitch" they gave us back our change after being extremely rude. Any business that provides a product that has a "system" that periodically throughout the day weighs people out insufficient amounts of medicine needs check points. The lady says they do have check points in place but they just keep slipping though.... sounds like a bunch of BS. This place is OBVIOUSLY SHADY I wouldn't give them my ID or cash who knows what other "System Glitches" they have I don't trust them at all. I would not reccomended LA MOTA... Unless you actually want your money stolen?

la mota is Awesome!! I drive from Troutdale just to get the awesome prices and amazing flower!!! I love love love lamota i will not go elsewhere!!! I recommend everyone try La Mota!!!!!

Kind of a tricky location to get to as there's no driveway from Sandy. The flowers were good, but the prices were high for Portland. The bud tender was friendly but really slow, maybe new? People came in and left with flowers while I was still waiting for my flowers to be weighed out. No small free gift for first time visitors like I've received at literally every other dispensary I've visited. One of the flowers varieties I got looked, smelled and tasted great. The other looked wonderful but was so harsh that it was hard to smoke. I'd probably go to one of the other dozens of dispensaries in Portland if I need flowers any time soon.

Great variety of super strains, deals, and superior service. Very friendly- this is the place to get the best meds! High quality and extremely clean. This is my go to location! TRY THEM OUT or YOU ARE MISSING OUT! ;) ~Amy

I just called 9:20 am I was just told by a budtender that she was to busy to look to see if they still have a Jack Harer cartridge. Really i was going to pass up bussines on the Lamota in SE so you guys at least try to compete in sales. You know help you out. I was willing to drive 11 miles out the way to get this product, for one its yes or no. I have been there and u should know what u have in stock. 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔 WANT BE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They had very good products at this shop. It just wasn't as warm and inviting as some of the other shops around town. Seems a bit corporate to me.

This was my favorite location for a while. Until they started selling 1/8ths for 50-55$ are you kidding 55$ for an 1/8th!!! The quality is great but to charge that much is absurd. I like to think of canibus users as somewhat of a family, willing to help one another. I don't expect them to give it away but with prices like that you are taking from your own seudo family. I will not spend my $ at this or their other locations. Unfortunate!!!!

Great Buds and Knowledgeable staff, The wife and I love the maui waui they had but they still have a killer selection of bud. I went in today tried the Red poison thanks to Ethan. The other strains I find that are top notch so far is Sour diesel, Dogwalker, Green crack ,La ultra and Maui. Check these guys out you won't be disappointed. Thanks Ethan at LA Mota NE , C&L

I have been going here for the last 2-3 months, they've always been professional, friendly, and knowledgeable of their product, and my needs, and what's my favorite. I feel they are personal, and doesn't feel corporate like at all, they just get busy, and try to please all, they may need to add on to the building, add more employees, because they're growing, I don't see me going to any other dispensary, I suggest neither do you ;)

Small location. Very personal. white walls make it seem very sci fi. Kelly was excellent help and got us what we needed & helped us get us a free t shirt.

This is my favorite shop. Wide variety of flower at different prices. Their bottom shelf is mid shelf everywhere else.

Leafly services are terrible, here’s why. No deals displayed. No menu available. Couldn’t find update items. Hasn’t been updated in 3 YEARS.

This location is great. Other than having a hard time getting to it, its a gem of a store. Always great deals on flower and friendly service. Knowledgeable about the products they sell. Will be back.

so so experience! staff was friendly, not as knowable as others! Quality of product is not great, but okay, and prices are reasonable for some strains.

I really love this place. The staff is super friendly. They always have so many strains over 25% THC to choose from that it takes me forever to pick what I want. I make the time to get to these guys because everywhere else right now seems to be inferior quality.

WOW! I went to the Hollywood store yesterday and bout two ‘la mota’ packs of prerolls... which were a little bit more expensive than I’m used to paying at my normal store. I head home and smoke one out of one pack and it was sad, miserable weed. The other was ok, but no more than that. I opened a new pre roll up, out of the first pack and it was basically spent weed. Yellow and old... should’ve been trashed. I used to be a grower and I know good luscious weed, nothing that they have is it. Today I went back to see if there was ANYTHING to do about the situation. Took the bad pack in there and explained the issue and offered to show the guy because he was there yesterday and he remembered me and I brought the pack back in just to show it. He takes my info and was real nice about it. An hour later he says he’s the bearer of bad news sorry nothing can be done even if I see the weed is bad. I told him there’s a flaw in the system but thanks for calling me back. I’LL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND. What a waste and quit giving this cool and excellent legal thing we have going, a bad f-in name! My high school dirt weed was better than that! Poopy bud company.
