Been here a few times. Deff recommend this to anyone swinging by and needs their goods.

This place is OK. But there are way better options out there, within steps from here. I've gone here 3 or 4 times. I've only had my medical card for a few months, and I don't quite understand why this place is as popular as it is. It is secure, and you'll have to empty your pockets and walk through a metal detector when you go in. You stand in a short line to give your ID to the young woman behind the bulletproof glass, and are told it will be a few minutes. While this process is pretty typical, I found it to be a little cold and impersonal. They see a lot of people come through the door here, and I'm sure I'm just another number to them, so it makes sense. But it would make more sense for them to be more warm and welcoming as a first impression, as this kinda sets the tone for the rest of your experience. There have probably been about a dozen people in the waiting room on average when I've gone, and the wait time has been about 10 minutes, typically. Not acceptable, but again, I rarely have to wait at all elsewhere. When I was called back, I was surprised to see that the bud room was actually pretty small and chaotic, and it seems like there's always a bit of tension in the air, as though the workers are uncomfortable and annoyed. As far as I understand, they're expanding, so hopefully this will help in that regard. (unfortunately, I've seen a lot of dispensaries go too far in the other direction and have a ton of wasted floorspace). The (as far as I've seen) all-female budtenders are generally pleasant enough, but I get the impression that I'm supposed to be impressed with them for some reason, and I'm not. They move quickly and the transaction is more of a brief exchange, rather than an exploration and discussion. This makes sense, given the number of customers they accommodate, but I feel hurried, and pressured to utilize their time efficiently - and it's not that I care to waste anyone's time, but I definitely feel more relaxed at other dispensaries. On one occasion, one of the budtenders got rude with me because she misunderstood what I told her and started suggesting things over my budget, and then acted like it was my fault somehow when I had to repeat. I know what I said, but even if I had been the one to have made the mistake, she should've been easygoing enough to move on without an attitude. As far as the product goes, they've got a huge selection of all categories of items and bud, and having only visited a few times, obviously haven't tried a ton of it. I was sold a couple of very mediocre distillate cartridges by a budtender that suggested them, and knowing how I could have spent that $60 now, I find it disappointing that those were recommended to me. I also relied on them to suggest a couple of different sativas, and they were relatively inexpensive, so I couldn't have expected them to be much better than mediocre as well. As other reviewers have mentioned, their house shatter is kind of a disaster. Please take your $25 elsewhere for a gram of shatter. With the completely unpretentious Flavors and the posh Reef a mile down the road, there's no reason to go here, unless you're looking for something specific that is out of stock elsewhere.

I've been to a lot if dispensaries on 8 mile + a ton in Ann arbor. NO place compares to the Dank.

HOD has expanded and become such a professional business. The woman behind the counter are always nice and helpful. They have more than enough product to choose from and it’s not ever too long of a wait even if it’s busy. Thanks to PAIGE for being a great tender and never letting me down with the product and all the other tenders who always recommend the best stuff to me!

Called up after 4 hours of waiting for a delivery they said it was out on the road. Not 2 minutes later they calling saying that they ran out of part of my order :(. THEN called me again to say they were out of another part of my order. Lying and telling me it was out for order IS NOT COOL by any standards. Seriously doubt they will get an order from me again!

This use to be my favorite place however the last few times the quality of product has gone down and prices seem to be going up. unfortunately my last visit will be my last, I purchased some edibles and when I had got home i realized I was missing 2 candies ($25 worth) I called and explained I was missing 2 and I was told their is nothing they could do horrible customer service especially when I have been going there and only there for over a year

Janielle (Jae), is the only reason I still patronage this facility. She is consistently sweet, patient, pleasant etc. Since covid 19 the staff is rude, disrespectful and their process is very inefficient and slow.

HOUSE OF DANK is a great dispensary I would always tell other people about this place cause all the bud tenders are very nice and respectful and answers your questions with politely and they treat you like family

it was ok they would only let you smell the flower so I didn't know if I was getting good or bad flower

use to go here all the time but the service I received the past two times was terrible first time they gave me the wrong stuff and over charged me for a gram that was supposed to be 5 a gram got charged 8 a gram was sold indica when I ask for sativa. this time the girl waited on me was rude and was rushing me and she almost got my change wrong took her three times just to figure out what she owed me won't be going back sad cause the have a good selection but there plenty more down 8 mile.

Absolutely appalled at the quality of wax I bought here. I bought two separate grams, each from different companies, and both were smeared across the paper, melted across the front and back. Completely unusable. I’ve bought herb from HoD before, but I will not be buying wax from here again.

Some of the staff are tip hungry and is there something wrong with their phones or need to be updated to a new number because no one seems to answer. Yes the sales are great but quality isnt.

Huge parking lot that is all lit up, no bun intended. They have great security and friendly. The staff working with the patients are very knowledgeable and can help you find whatever you're looking for. Their $20 1/8th's are a great way to try different kinds and see what works for you at a great price. The down side to some of The cheaper options is that some have a ton of seeds so look at it before you decide to get it. I was in and out in 15 minutes and I got a ton of stuff. You can't beat the prices or the free gram for new patients. And the wonderful staff make it very easy for you if you have no idea what your doing. $20 1/8ths buy one get one free edibles and other great deals don't miss out.

I have been going to house of dank for over 6 years, spent large amounts every time. New bud tender told me a total and I gave more because I did the math. He runs out to say he needs 100$ more for my order and I’m confused to why it’s more because there app says otherwise. And he fucked me over with the ounce checking the price inside. Male bud tender dumps change all over my paint and says he can’t do anything about the false advertisement, put the blame on me not reading hidden text saying prices can be inaccurate. It’s like gambling if ur prices aren’t accurate lmfaaooo..... Won’t be back with the squad u guys lost not just me as a customer but many others that bring you a lot of business. And this story is being passed around.

I think the security guys should be bud-tenders. They were very nice, very courteous, and very helpful on my first visit. I was happy and knew I had found my place! Then my budtender came over to me and asked if I wanted something. I told her I was they're to pick up my order.i hadn't hey my name. 5-7 minutes later, sure came back with an attitude thing me I had no orders. I offered to show her in my phone. But she said that didn't matter. She then asked what I had ordered. I guess it did matter, huh? She was very rude and dismissive. I'll not go back to this location and I'll not recommend it to anyone I know. And if I may say, it's hard enough for black people to make it in this world without being ugly to one another. I would have expected this kind of treatment from a white bud tender. But it's doubly insulting/hurtful coming from a member of my own race. The security guys greeted me, smiled, told me where to go, and answered questions I had. 20 minutes later when I finally got my order, it was the security guys that bid me good day. They have the customer service skills. THEY should have the bud tender jobs.

This place is great. There's a price range for all budgets and the cheaper end still has a decent quality to it regardless. The range of selection, amazing massive amount of strains to choose from including concentrates, medibles and CBD's. What I don't like is that the strains are not labeled by Indica, Sativa or Hybrid and when you ask the staff they guess or are wrong, unless leafly's information is incorrect. its a huge bummer for a person looking to use strains to their full medical potential... Look up and correctly label your strains when you receive them!!!!!

after 6 weeks of curbside service you would think they would have there shit together took like 45 minutes to get my order even know I pre ordered just saying figure it out

I have been going to House Of Dank to get my medication for about 2 years now and I have yet to be disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of quality medication. The location is convenient and they have an amazing security team. Given some of my health issues and other circumstances, whenever I am there without my significant other, they will walk outside with me and make sure I get to my car safely. I couldn't ask for a better place to get my meds from. Thank you, HOD.

Have had fine service going into the store up to this point. Decided to place an order for deliver. 2 Hours isn't accurate at all for delivery. I placed the order at 2 PM and it's now 9:45 PM and I still haven't received it. I'll keep shopping here because they have my go to strain in flower, but a bit disappointed in the delivery services.
