I’ve seen em all and this place makes it on the top of this. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the price point beats any competition as far as quality goes. On top of that the selection is pretty incredibly, with a variety of different offerings.

I’ve been here about 5 or 6 times now and have always been treated super well, lots of smiles & casual conversation. I find the prices to be better than average for the area which is all the more amazing because the quality really is apparent in the merchandise, they take their intake process seriously which is important to me. Plus they have regular sales, just sayin’ = )

Homegrown Apothecary is the only dispensary in Portland if you are a medical cannabis user. Richard helped me figure out the strain that gives me the best results. I can purchase that strain at a great price in bulk. So I am getting the right medicine at a dosage I couldn't afford anywhere else Their flower is organic and soil grown. The year they were closed I was undermedicated and struggled with much more pain. I am so glad they are back. I am night and day better.

Best folks ever. Seriously they are knowledgeable, friendly, and just overall rad as f00k. A+ and Frankie is the bomb as heck.

One of my favorite shops, bud tenders are knowledgeable and like willing to work with you and talk and not just take your money. Plus they take time to learn your name, and they're just the best. Plus it's in this old house which is beautiful and cozy and chill.

Obscenely cute, if every establishment was like this, we'd be living in Hyrule and everyone would be in tune and no one alone. The stuff is sustainable, grown in house. Exceptional and the person helping the recreational users is couldn't be more helpful, capable of helping get something close to what you're hoping to experience and shares you're curiosity. The price for the potency is a good deal, and the entire selection is top shelf. 10 a g.

This place is comfy! Very cool welcoming area, also a private buying room which was nice to not be picking out meds in front of others. Last but not least, great quality meds. I'll be back.

Found everything I needed in one stop. I first went in to explore the strains but ended up walking out with gummies, hard candies, papers, a grinder and a very potent strain called dog walker. They have plenty of options to choose from and their service was great. I am planning on returning.

Great atmosphere, great selection of top shelf meds and they carry non cannabis herbs as well. Also some homeopathic remedies - - Randa helped me out with a head cold naturally! Love the house and artistic quality inside. Very knowledgeable and laid back people that know their stuff. I highly recommend you stop in and check it out.

Homegrown Apothecary is a really nice shop on NE 21st and Pacific. A very unassuming building painted with vines and flowers on it, one would think this were an herbs/garden store. But inside is a very warm place. Not white or kitschy at all, it is a older building and its image is better for it. Lobby has lemon/cucumber water to sip on while they check you in. After the space was open, we were led to one of 2 budtending rooms. Richard was a lovely budtender. The sommelier of smoke. I just went for a (self-named) smile time variety joint pack, and went through ranges of unicorns/no-unicorns, and high energy to couch status.. I was also taught something new when looking at cured flowers. Being able to be taken into a back room was really nice so I could feel good asking questions and not feel pressured by other patrons. A very welcoming experience. I'm really happy with the way these guys handled themselves and how their business works. Organic, sustainable, no rec markup, small and very welcoming, chill, honest, and lowkey since it is ever so slightly offset from the beaten path.

Everyone I've dealt with has been very friendly! The bud tenders are knowledgable and extremely helpful! I'll definitely visit here again!

Friendly staff and the best variety I've yet seen in Portland .

I've been wanting to go to this shop forever. I go past it every day on my way to work and I've always been curious to see inside and check out their selection of not just marijuana, but also all their other herbal options. Now that it's recreational too, I finally got my chance! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Also very helpful and knowledgable. It was just as homey and welcoming as I expected inside. It almost felt like being in a grandmother's home. They've got some really good teas. Their buds are great too. I'm in love with their Blue Dream. I can't wait to go back!

The nicest people who truly take time and care. Unbelievable kindness and great knowledge of the Medical Side of the product they lovingly have in this shop. Love this shop!

Very solid shop. Meds were great. Huzzah!

Meh. tried to sell me on a "special blend". Also, grams were strangely pre packed, not what I'm used to, tender turns around and states, "oh you are getting a really heavy one" while checking weight with his back to me. Everything was fine when I got it home, but it is just not the experience I am looking for with so many other great shops around. Also, I asked for his list of pure sativas, I was then told about a few hybrids, I asked, "isn't that a hybrid?" then tender actually started showing me sativas. Meh.

I stopped in because I saw the side of the building from the Highway. They have the best water cooler ever! The non- cannibis herb selection is great, And, the lineup of strains aint bad either. Try the B-line. Its like nothing I've ever tried before.The Sour Diesel BHO is INSANE! Be back next week for shure.

It's a very small place, but the staff is welcoming and attentive to your needs. I've returned here a couple times.

I absolutely love HomeGrown Apothecary. I have been wanting to go to this shop for a long time, but only now have the recreational laws allowed me to do so. I have tried many other pot shops and this place is far and away my favorite. The weed here smells very, VERY good! They have great deals including a punch card that gives you a star for every $30 you spend. After you fill up the punch card, they reward you with a free 1/8th! This place is friendly and neighborly, the way you would expect a locally owned and operated Portland business to be. I enjoy being rewarded for my loyalty, and prefer this shop over others, so I will be making all of my pot purchases at HomeGrown Apothecary from now on. I love the location because it is conveniently near where I live. This place is laid back and they have a passion for their work, which I appreciate since I have a passion for smoking pot!

Wow. This place is fantastic!! Flowers are great, limited but high quality selection (I would love to see some CBD specific strains in the future). The shop is quite small but still welcoming, and they utilize the space well. Excellent service, I really felt the focus on holistic, whole body treatment. Rhonda was super professional and kind. New favorite dispensary after one visit. Prices were good, staff was very helpful at picking out something that matched my needs, and the atmosphere put me immediately at ease (which is saying something given one of the main reasons I use cannabis is crippling chronic anxiety). Smoking some Pineapple JGR I picked up there the other day and highly recommend it for a mellow and tranquil high with the calming benefits of a 2:1 CBD:THC ratio Also gotta love the pot leaf pride flag out front and the lovely floral mural
