Grow West Cannabis Company Dispensary

I can't be too objective because this is the only dispensary I have used. I will say that the staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I like their brand bud as well, packaged in sealed plastic with a humidity packet and put in a recyclable round tin. Very nice presentation and packaging, so shout out to the growers and trimmers, etc. What really needs work is their website. It works. You can read what it says, you can put it in a cart and order it. The descriptions for all of the products on their website need work or are just missing, but the thc and cbd percentages are listed as are the strain, grower, indica/sativa/hybrid. Photos are missing (even stock product photos from company websites) for different categories. I have tried a few times to complain and suggest remedies for their site. I hope it gets better. Some of us rely on public transportation, so using the site to order and then use the drive-thru is convenient and economical. The building is well located - next to a grocery store and a pharmacy. Not entirely sure how wheelchair accessible it is. I don't recall an automatic door button, and the vestibule is a little small. The lobby is a nice size with seating, but the product area is tight for those in a wheelchair. They will accept plastic 5 recyclable cannabis containers, so that is nice.

I live 2 hours away, but I was in town for a festival so I made it a point to stop by. Beautiful dispensary, impossibly friendly and helpful staff as well! I went in on a Friday afternoon and every single person — from front desk, to the budtender, to the managers — we’re an absolute delight. My products were great, prices were good, and I would absolutely make the trek out here for a big event! Thanks again Grow West!

Super friendly staff, and a large selection of products. Everyone is very willing to answer questions and even get new products in, on request when it’s possible. The website and online ordering Is smooth and easy to use, as well as the drive up window service.

i used to really really love coming here but the treatment of medical patients isn’t a priority anymore customer service is terrible i’ve called six times in a day with no answer and have spent 2 hours waiting since the legalization of adult users it’s really gone downhill in the last month the cons for this place are starting to outweigh the pros

I love grow west! I’ve not been inside since the pandemic started but the drive through option is fantastic! My only complaint is would be the ordering platform. Example when u have sales and I try to find those items they can’t be found. Just not the easiest to always find what I’m looking for but other then that great products and great staff!!

I shop here strictly out of lack of options, the prices are occasionally better than the local competition but they're wildly understaffed and VERY slow. Expect a 2-5 hour wait every day of the week at any hour of the day, and expect them to lock the doors to the walk in area several hours early out of sheer laziness. Show up early and wait in a long line with no separate sections between medical and recreational you have to deal with the slew of medical card karens showing up and cutting past 20+ people in line over and over until you've delayed your stay yet another hour. I've shopped here every day of the week at separate hours of the day, same situation every time. They need to restaff, retrain, and do better. The weed is good tho, but if you're impatient pay extra elsewhere for a vastly better buying experience.

Very friendly staff, respectful, professional, knowledgeable! Over all products are all good, ITS ALL GOOD! The rest are Great!! Nice selection of different growers. I’m a sativa guy, always have nice selection! Facilities are small. But perfect for now!! Thanks for the service. Fantastic stuff!!!

There customer service is always friendly and amazing I’ve never had a problem with them and they always have very good products and service is always with a smile they are very quick and timely. Everything is always on time and Customer service is the way it should be. I think West because their prices are very affordable. They always run really good deals and treat their patients with respect.

Before COVID Grow West was my favorite (not that they aren't now). I've lost touch with the bud tender which made it a more personal experience. I personally enjoyed them knowing us, the patients. Some even knew what we like and what we were looking for. Grow West does carry the only THCaIsolate in the area and I appreciate that. They are absolutely amazing and top shelf quality. I've been attending. I usually to keep grow West as my go to local place unless they shut down. New year's eve was a mess and my order was messed up along with almost 100 points I a missing from my account as well. 70 to be exact. I still have the receipt. Or someone owes me a shit load of my money if my order was 500 because I 570. So I am 70 points short. That does need looked into. Allegany gets busy but mistakes are not made like this. I'm am not fond of wasting money I don't have to waste. Or being told to come get my stuff on news years eve because it was ready and then a rude lady said my name didn't sound familiar. I talked to a lady 2 hrs prior to grow West shutting down. I just had to pay for it my order was already processed. So that was really shitty on Grow wests part! As long as they have been open they need to get their shit together! Love them to pieces shit Xmas Eve they have had issue. I have been having my stuff brought up from the city, Annapolis! 15 eighths, 30 g of sugar 25 carts 50 g rso you can't beat it. Maybe grow West should drop their prices!?!? ❤️🤞💯

they do not put there medical patients first. do not offer the daily discount since recreational . they claim there prices are lower now but I have been paying more because when they do randomly have 20% off the whole store they barely have product to choose from. it would be nice to get more than an eighth . thats all they offer flower wise anymore and grams it seems .who wants to buy 4 eighths instead of a half and pay double the price . they should also designate a medical only drive thru line .

There’s not a better group of people I can imagine at a dispensary. Every time I go there I tell them “You guys are the best” and I mean that. When I was a first day patient, one of the budtenders stood in the parking lot with me (lobby closed due to Covid) for about an hour just educating me. It was so obvious her passion was genuine, and she was determined to find me the best strain possible. It’s rare to actually find someone who would treat you the real way you want to be treated, just because they’re a nice person. They are always friendly, always informative and always willing to help. They have a great selection, up to date inventory on their website, and an awesome and VERY efficient drive thru window. And the building is so well designed inside. It’s an experience going there.

The selection has been pretty decent and the staff have always been the best when it comes to customer service. That said, and this is a common problem right now that many dispensaries are having, the wait times here are very much less than desirable. I love the specials, pricing, and selection, but there hasn't been much improvement as far as speed of service. Expect to spend no less than 30 mins in a drive thru line no matter what time of day. I will say that they're my preference of the two locals just because of their staff and quality though.

Medical patient Good: Drive-thru window is great when you already made your order. Friendly staff and understanding security. They're doing everything they can to accommodate new recreational buyers and medical. Nice selections. Not so good: The dispensary is small, and feels even smaller with new recreational customers and occasional long lines at both the drive-thru and the lobby. Lobby hours are different from the drive-thru window. Lobby opens at 11am, as of this review. Their website was serviceable, at best. They have since redirected their order handling to Jane, and I am not sure how I feel about that yet.
