Green Door

I’m from Ohio and dispenseries are just getting started. At a recent trip to one of these Ohio D’s I overheard someone mention Michigan as a good place to go instead. Well I just got back from a trip to Green Door and I can tell you that it was well worth the 3 hours of driving (one way). This place has got their shit together ( pun intended). They were prepared for the 420 crowd and had a large heated tent outside with food and drinks. Once inside I was greeted by my Budtender, Mia. She was very knowledgeable about everything cannabis. I HIGHLY recommend Green Door to my Ohio friends.

Why Did Prices Sky Rocket With No Notice Given? That kinda sucks.

I've been a regular, loyal customer of Green Door Alternative since before they closed and reopened. Like many MMJ users, I am disabled with PTSD and bipolar 2. The people at Green Door were always sensitive about it. That all changed today. I waited in the lot for my budtender, like always. One worker, Aaron, was walking around aimlessly from car to car, asking the drivers their names. It seemed weird, but whatever. The other bud tender was doing it the right way - taking people's orders out to them when they pulled up and let them know. I had already called twice to let them know I was there. After Aaron asked another new car who they were, I called out "Thomas!" He angrily looked at me sideways and muttered "yeah, I think they said something about that..." and he walked away. Ten minutes later he comes up behind me and says "I'm sorry, you should have said something, I didn't know you were here for us." "I THOUGHT MAYBE THE TWO PHONE CALLS WERE ENOUGH." He held out the bag. I took it. I gave him te money. He looked at me like I had slapped his mother. "What!?" "Don't be snatchin' from me, bro." He marches toward the store, crying that I had upset him. I waited for my change. I was honest with him. "This is the first time I've failed to give a tip." "Oh yeah? Well fuck you, old man! We don't need you here!" This is not why I go to a dispensary. I go to a dispensary to get my medication. This kid thinks of himself as a dope dealer. You've lost a deeply loyal customer.

I love green door. i would recommend them over any place. they have just about everything you can possibly think of. they are patient and ready to serve anyone. ( Chris ) is one of my favorite budtenders here! please choose Green door!

Best Service Ever... I’ve been to so many dispensaries and by far this is the BEST... Not only are the employees super friendly and extremely helpful but they also have the best deals... I wouldn’t go anywhere else... I am a Green Door Alternative’s Lifer!

Good Morning, I visited your establishment about a week ago. Where I was greeted by a HUGE SMILING girl with a Mohawk. I didn’t get her name, she was training a girl Mia, and insisted on Mia giving me her card to show her how to retain her patients and help them remember who helped her. Now I’ve been in this industry as a recruiter for 15+ years from Cali, Washington, Colorado, Canada ect. I have NEVER I MEAN NEVER , seen one person so educated on product, treatment , do’s and don’ts , how to dose, what to dose with for certain ailments, and as she was doing all this, again noticed she was training Mia, taking orders from some other gal who asked her to get something ready, and still giving me her undivided attention!! Never witnessed such multi-tasking ( and actually be great at) I assume possibly she is their on site Dr., manager, or owner. I did ask her if she liked working here, and without a blink on an eye, her smile grew larger and she simply said” This is my family!(as she pointed to her co-workers) I’m truly grateful and thankful that I have the opportunity to not only work with the people I love,but each and everyone one of them make me a better person each day! And I get to help people everyday of my life! If I died today my life is complete!” Wow wow wow! I would really like to talk with her about possible opportunities to further her career in this industry. I have already sent a letter to our High Times editor about this young lady and would be intrested in possibly doing an article on her. Is it possible to get her email address? In retrospect , you should definitely check this place out! Please if you want a true person whom knows everything about this industry , see the young gal with the Mohawk! I actually posted our monthly blog to all the dispensary’s in Cali and Colorado acknowledging how my visit was here! Kudos Green Door Alternative , for setting the bar so high on employees whom actually care and are doing more than just getting people high. Still stunned by this gal!!

First time patient I am in love with the atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and they know how to find you what you need. I was helped by Heather she hooked me up with some awesome deals. My favorite place by far.

The staff is the BEST, you have any problems, and they will work with ya and get it right!! Good deals, selection of products and an AWESOME atmosphere!

This is by far the best dispensary in Michigan. Great selection, knowledgeable staff and you can’t beat the deals. Jim is by far the best bud tender I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

The best dispensary. Great quality. Everyone is friendly. Mia is one of my faves she always asks how I’m doing and takes care of what I need when I come in. Mia is great. I highly recommend green door and Mia all day everyday.

I come here occasionally when I get the chance to drive out there because the staff is wonderful! GDA always has great deals going on, lots of variety of products for everyone’s needs. Highly recommend this place they are one of the good ones!
