Garden Remedies Marlborough: Med + Adult-use

Garden Remedy in Marlborough MA, recreational menu is very bad since going medical 2 weeks ago. Today there were only 2 recreational flower choices when prior going medical there were usually at least 6 recreational flower choices. No product availability to recreational customers any longer.

Really disappointed with this location following their entry into the medical market (they were adult-use only for a while). Now that they’re medical & adult use, they obviously don’t care much about adult use customers anymore, or they’re at least focusing their selection on their medical customers. Walked in today, and they had 8-9 flower strains for medical, and 2 for adult use. One of them being a “smalls” 8th. It really is a shame because they used to offer a decent selection.

Their change to medical + adultis so, so disappointing. This used to be my hands-down choice with at least a half dozen options. Now, excluding some stupid CBD strain, there is only ONE adult use choice of flower? That's garbage! Get it together and remember who got you your quickly diminishing rating or I and A LOT of others won't be back.

Strain selection for adult use is a joke. I know it's weird actually wanting bud from a marijuana dispensary. Can't imagine a liquor store with one kind of beer.

I was a frequent adult use customer. Do too the switch to medical there’s little flower for adult use. Back to Hudson.

No selection for recreational. A disappointment.

There’s almost zero bud for adult users anymore. It’s ridiculous. I’m gonna have to find a new place, which sucks because this used to be my favorite.

This change to medical use is ridiculous. I was making the trip every other week because of the great selection, and ease of parking. Now they have gone to medical they have 1 or 2 choices of flower and maybe 1 choice of wax if your lucky. Back to the black market I go, what a shame! Finally felt like we had a dispensary that was equivalent to Colorado or California.

What a shame that this dispensary no longer values its recreational customers. Ridiculous limits on recreational purchases that this place is a waste of time.

Worst in the state.

When I first started going here when the place opened I really liked it. Good bud and good concentrates. I’m now finding that this place is no longer my go to destination in the area. More often than not the bud smells like freshly cut grass, not the most enticing of smells. The quality and the density is very inconsistent, the bud is either dense or wicked airy. Clearly seems like money is the motivator and not the quality of the bud. Now there is almost 0 selection for recreational users. I understand the importance of providing medicinal products for medicinal users, but why bother being a rec only location and establishing a large rec market if you are not going to provide quality choices for rec users once you are fully established. I’d rather take my business to temescal wellness, wait on the shuttle, and (I can’t believe I’m saying this) get bud that is actually now a higher quality than Garden Remedies, than deal with the 1-2 choices that are available to me. Very disappointed to say the least.

I had a horrible experience in Marlborough. I have been to Newton and use Melrose a lot. And had much better experienced. First off the check in was very different as I was checking (I’m a medical patient.) adult use patrons were wizzing past at me. When I got past the first door there were NO written menu’s only iPads and I could not read the print and the screen would not enlarge when pinched open. When I asked for help I was directed to the counter I asked for the Dr’s blend (house blend cartridge) that I get often in Melrose I was told the products are different. These are 2 different sites in the same franchise why are the products different. Then I asked for the low dose sugar they don’t carry that either. I could have found this out for myself if they had a menu Imcould actually read. Print too small on the iPad and could not enlarge screen. Then when I asked which cartridge was most like what I was looking for the bud tender had to ask someone else, and gave me an attitude like she could not have been bothered to answer my question or be inconvenienced by having to ask someone for the answer. So now I have a new male bud tender as bud tender #1 couldn’t be bothered. Bud tender 2 seemed more knowledgeable as to the crossover or similarities of the different options. But when he checked me out he gave me a price I thought to be a bit high. I looked at the slip as it said $80 for an item that I know to be $60. Then I asked #2 this doesn’t seem right. True I did not bring my phone in so did not have a calculator. I have a TBI and have not been good with number since my injury. He got an attitude like he didn’t have the time to answer my question, I should just go away so he could wait on an adult use customer. I will most probably never return to Marlborough and I would advise any medical patient who is a veteran over 50 not go there either.

Seriously? 99% Medical, recreational selection is the pits. There are better dispensary’s near by in Hudson for recreational cannabis. Go there.

Thanks for adding the flower back to rec customers that have been sitting on the shelf for months for the medical patients!! Woo!! Wtg guys!

This was my second visit here. I stopped using prescription medications and am trying to use more natural methods to alleviate pain. I'm THC sensitive so I've been buying strains from different dispensaries to experiment and find one that would work. The Blue Dream CBD they have here, after trying 9 other strains, works awesome. I have zero psychoactive effects and I get a medium level of pain relief. Every other strain I tried causes unpleasant psychoactive effects. Yesterday I placed an order for 1 oz to be picked up today. When I arrived they couldn't find the order and said it was cancelled at the end of the day. Apparently you can only make an order and pick it up that same day not the following day. The woman I talked to was very nice and said don't worry we can recreate the order for you. and I told her that I had ordered only one item, one ounce of the CBD flower. She responded "oh we can't sell you more than 1/8 starting today we put a limit recreational flower". They said it was due to the recent state ban on vape cartridges so flower is selling like crazy. On the recreation menu they only have two types of flower and one of them is the CBD strain. I asked if they sell much of the CBD flower off the recreation menu. They said that it doesn't sell but they still would not sell me the ounce that I had pre-ordered even though they have a lot of it in stock. This was a three hour drive for me. The cost of traveling & mileage exceeded the cost of the flower. They honestly expect that I will drive 3 hours once a week to buy 1/8 of the product from them that they have plenty of stock and that no one else buys instead of selling me the full ounce that I had ordered. I'm sure the experience is much different for medical patients. I will never go back to this dispensary.

Boy they must really hate making anything easy for rec users, after imposing smaller limits than other area shops, then hardly having any rec product for months, to now getting rid of the order online option. Cause people just LOVE playing the guessing game of DID THEY REALLY UPDATE THE MENU OR WILL IT BE GONE AFTER I DRIVE 45 MINS.

Wow, finally the flower menu is almost half for Rec and about the same THC content as the Medical instead of only 2 crappy Rec options out of 10. But now the Rec people have to go back to only buying an 1/8th at a time? What's the point of driving 30 minutes and paying that much then? What was the point of becoming the first adult-use only place where you could park in their own parking lot? Just for them to switch to Medical and basically take adult-use away? No thanks. Even decent Rec options isn't enough to make me go back there if I can't buy more than an 1/8th.

Very disappointed in this store. By far the worst experience of any of the dozen stores in the area i have tried. First the "security" employee was on his phone the whole time, not paying any attention on a busy Saturday night. Next front desk employees were awkward and unwelcoming. The rainmaker was in the bottom 3 of any flower i have purchased. Poor buds, extremely dry, hay like taste. Also purchased an oil and cream. The cream was ok, the oil didnt do much. The biggest positive was the 50 off 100 for first time medical. Overall would not return, even with thay discount. Drive to hudson, sboro or woo for either medical or rec

The only reason why I go here is it’s on the way to the grocery store. Constant flower shortages. Weeks go by without a strong Indica flower option. God forbid if GR grows a strain that helps insomniacs sleep! For what you get, it’s really overpriced for the potency you get

As a Medical patient, Terrible couple visits. Bud is terribly trimmed. Their Staff is unprofessional and have no idea what their talking about and constantly talking about how their getting High on their break. Security guard doesn’t know prices or how to answer questions. I never see them checking on Recreational patients IDs , yet is a hassle to come in as a medical patient.This locations cares more about their recreational patients than medical as they never have any medicine and won’t move anything over to the medical side if a patient needs it. Literally going to finish my voucher and probably never coming back to Garden Remedies. I highly recommend not coming here as a medical patient.

Im really disheartened to see this despensery all but give up on adult use customers. The idea of medical use being available is great, however you screwed over the customer base you cultivated over the last few months for a heavily saturated medical market. When you start losing your regulars youll understand your mistake. Still the best bud and friendliest atmosphere in Ma I've seen for rec despite them giving us only basically one option to buy and pathetically low limits.

Leafly allows pick up order, quick fast and easy. Friendly staff, knowledgeable, Great quality products. Garden Remedies is my go to place! Sidenote: Marlborough location has been medical and recreational since day one. It's not the Business's fault for folks not up to date on technology. Many ways to access menu. Let's not forget recreational usage is now a privilege, As far as Medical, I would think if used on regular basis you would know how to place your orders or knowledgeable on alternative strains. It's 2019 people, get with the technology and research as you would with any other inquiries. Not to mention, You can call for assistance prior to visiting any of it's locations. Can we say "Duh 101"

I’m a medical patient and I’m very very disappointed with their service, professionalism, and the feedback from staff. I purchased flower and a cartridge with my $50 off $100 voucher. I was then supposed to get their special 25% off vapes for the week on my cartridge, saving me a total of $15. The man helping me didn’t tell me i wasn’t able to use the voucher and the discount together and I bought the purchase only to see on the receipt I wasn’t given a discount. I then went to the manager to get the discount put on or to return it all together- but she told me they can’t do cash refunds and can’t help me. It’s concerning that you can’t make a return here, especially when the staff are not correctly educated on the sales available. Very disappointed and wish I didn’t waste my time coming here.

If your looking for flower for recreational use then I suggest stay far far far FAR away from this place. They have the absolute worse list of flower in all the the pot shops in Massachusetts. The flower is dry, packaged months ago and they carry the same strains for months. Never anything new to try. Also very low THC on their flowers. The medical patients won’t be able to carry this place. I can guarantee it, that this place won’t be open much longer with all the other shops selling way better flower. Will never be back and wish I could get my money back!
