Freedom Market Kelso - Recreational

I'm new to cannabis and currently in my early 50's. I've lived with chronic pain for some time now and finally decided to try high CBD strains of cannabis. The Freedom Market in Kelso was my first visit to a cannabis store and didn't really know what to expect. For those of you like me who may be taken back by what you hear on the news and see on TV, Freedom Market is none of that. It is a very professional retail store with knowledgeable staff who guided me in the right direction. There is no pushing of products and they are happy to take time to explain the different aspects of cannabis (THC %, CBD %, Producers, topicals, inhalers, and how to's). No one looked as if they were high or strung out drug users...just normal people working at a job. I left there store with a good feeling that I purchased the right strains to start making a topical cream. By the way, they had three strains that had between 8% & 13 % CBD, one with the lowest THC at only 1.1%. Thanks Freedom Market for creating a good environment for first time customers like me.

Kristin was a major help today with helping me find creams to help soothe achy muscles. I love this shop they are very approachable and very knowledgeable.

Coming back from Portland I had the chance to stop in at this shop, I think around the 10th rec shop I've been to, though my first visit to anything in Southern Washington. The staff were very chill and were more than happy to talk for a bit about the business and not just the products with price tags, something that felt more likely a friendly bottleshop. They didn't have that overly-energetic over-bering "I'm a budtender!" that a regular shopper might not enjoy. I would definitely stop back in on my way through.

I’m not really sure how to start this review, I guess this is how it goes. So, first off just the basics Amazing service. Excellent pricing. Frequent Customer discount program is great. Atmosphere is always chill with good tunes and friendly staff. Product selection is wide and has lots of price range to choose from. Now, on to the real review “meat”. I was on a multitude of anti depressants and anxiety meds for almost a decade. 9 years 3 months to be exact. I started switching off them a year ago. I met Brenda at that time from a friend who said “Go see Brenda, she knows her shit”. She absolutely was right. Over the past year Brenda and I, through talking (yeah, craziness right?! A human who listens. And, wants you to feel better!!) have worked out what strains (I cannot consume, smoke, etc any straight sativa strains. Spins me like a top) Hybrids are ok, but I’m still wound and down. Indica is my friend. So I chat her up. I tell her the arguments and struggles, so she could really understand what I needed. I tell her events that are upcoming so we can plan ahead. The Swift mints are a friggin lifesaver. But still, wound. And waaay down. So we dig more. Rso. .5g a day at 82%. (Holy shit right?) and I was still not right. So we started Green Revolution’s tincture. “Chill” 200mg CBD and 100mg THC. 10mg CBD 5 THC. I started this two and half weeks ago. My mood is lifted and my brain has calmed. I am sleeping better and the nightmares have let go a bit. I have a great appetite now, that is hard with the anxiety. Too wound to eat. My thought process are clearer and I am noticing they are continuing to improve. I have been able to completely remove the RSO except as a breakthrough or “really fucked day” medication. I haven’t had to touch it yet, but I know it is in the cabinet. The bottle I purchased was 49.00 and I have a little under a third of the bottle left. Compared to the $45 each week for the RSO oils it is a budget cut of almost half. I really am hopeful for the first time in over 10 years that this happy feeling I have will stay. CBD and an employee named Brenda, who let my tears flow and saw my plea to get help (and a few others, Hayden, Jeremy just a few names) are making my life good again.

I've been going to Freedom Market in Kelso since it opened. I just want to tell you that Brenda, my budtender, is so very knowledgeable about the products. I tell her what my needs are and she has always suggested just the right product. Thank you!

LOVE THIS PLACE

I stop in about 3-6 times a week always for oil and the cashier Ryan remembered me and when I went to leave. Temporarily dissatisfied in selection when he took it upon himself to find me a bomb deal and great oil

Best recreational selection I've seen so far (have visited 6 shops in eastern WA). Great, knowledgeable staff and very clean store. I especially liked that they have a detailed menu at the counter. Donation prices were a little on the high side but the product is excellent.

First time in a recreational pot store Sam did a good job helping my husband and I out Headed home to try out the new flavors now

Love them. Great location I feel and the workers are always super friendly and super helpful. I also appreciate that all the workers truly know and respect the products they are working with and because of that they can always help me find the best product that fits my needs. :)

Great service and product. Only negative is the parking lot area and turn off are a bit off putting.

I appreciate Kristin's recommendation. I have came in twice because of her service. I will absolutely be shopping the Kelso Freedom location again.
