Emerald Fields Manitou

Just stating 'This place is too expensive.' Is glossing over — and allowing for, a myriad of missteps, and miscalculations to go both unnoticed, and unanswered for — it's time for a fitting review. Firstly, there is an adequate selection, but not the 'best' selection. They have similar products to everyone else, but I have yet to speak to a budtender that knows much-if-or-anything about the products, their origins, or how they could help you. Most of the 'floor' staff are either unknowledgeable, or inebriated, or perhaps both. I have to repeat myself, they seem generally confused by the iPad in their hand, and they wander aimlessly until you try to track them down. A word on price. To get to a recreational dispensary from where I'm located, it's approximately 37 miles. Which means, I could either head to Denver — or down to Manatu. From here on out — it's Denver. I went to three different dispensaries over three days, to try to decide product-and-value. On average if I go to this dispensary, versus three other (random) places in Denver I will pay 48% more for 50% less product; additionally, the products in Denver are higher-quality and more affordable. In all three (random) Denver locations, the personnel was crisp, knowledgeable, included other team members when they didn't have answers — were friendly, and space wasn't dominated by militarized, armed guards. They made using my veterans benefits benefit easy, and all provided a very unrushed, competent, and comfortable experience. Something I have yet to experience at this Manatu location... do yourself a favor; plan ahead, drive to Denver, and enjoy the experience the way that it was intended. As a healing, helpful, and nourishing time — not a nerve-wracking, frustrating, and overly expensive time!

Bought the red-headed strand gold since it was the only sativa they had. It was extremely expensive for what it was. Although the service was good, it felt like they pushed certain products and did not appear to be very knowledgeable. Would not recommend.

It was the Apple Store for pot. The setup was great, the staff with their tablets & blue shirts. Everything was laid out nice. The staff was very knowledgeable. When I was done they gave me a number, I went to the counter, & my order was ready. Signed up for a loyalty program to save 10%. Great overall experience

Save your money, go to Pueblo or Denver. You'll spend the same ammount of money in gas getting there and back and you'll come back with 3x the weed.

The BudeTender Was Rude And Snappy With Me Just Asking Questions. like I was bothering her. Was not a good experience

Save your $$$ and go to Denver to buy. The tax is really high and so are the prices. They even told me that they can charge so much because “supply and demand” and being only 1 of 2 shops in Manitou. F that! I’ll go to Denver and get more, and still pay less.

First dispensary we ever went to, first time in Colorado, we let them know that so that they be patient with us and we got exactly the opposite! Guy outside writing our names was pretty cool. Check in people were nice as well... but the lady that was supposed to “help” us out was totally rude, either because we told her it was our first time there, us been Mexican, our accent or something but she totally ignored our requests, spoke in a rude manner to us, VERY high prices, and when we went to pay for our stuff, they gave me a wrong strain... I just kept it, I wanted to get out of there ASAP! Just a very uncomfortable atmosphere. We were intimidated when we went to another dispensary thinking we were gonna be treated like trash again but that actually turned out to be a pleasant experience.

its like a herded cowpen i side. too many people and no "flow" to the products. couldnt get a chance to check out vape carts bc it only took 1 person standing there to block the view of the entire case. ended up just grabbing a g and getting out of there

Very rushed and highly overpriced. I would recommend you go to the place down the street with the longer wait. It’s well worth it. This place is one of the worse in Colorado. Last time I was there it was very rushed and left with something I didn’t really want.

Tourist trap. Prices are ridiculous and product not that great at all. Better off going to Pueblo or Denver for recreational. Customer service was awful and no one too helpful to answer questions.

Such a tourist trap. Constantly rotating products in and out so if you find something you like it’s usually gone a month or two later and what replaced it is worse. Plus the staff seems clueless when you ask a question. Vastly inflated pricing, drive the extra hour and go up to Denver for better quality, service, and pricing

Great staff everyone was very knowledgeable. Also had a great atmosphere and great prices and of course some quality bud. I will definitely be going back here

This place is so over priced!! $20 for 1g the price gouging is absurd I’ll spend the gas and time to go to Denver where the prices are reasonable

Being new to Co Springs, I don't have a medical referral yet, so great not having to drive to Denver to pick up some good Rec. bud. Quality of everything is great, but be prepared to pay for what you get!

So i basically go here every day the people are so amazing and also the deals kill with out getting taxed my favorite is there timeless cartages they have me in love basically my favorite place ever !!

Ive been going to emerald fields since they have opened basically. I’ve always know that the prices were a little more than most places… but its right in manitou. I recently made a trip to Pueblo to purchase my products. I noticed that in Pueblo they have the same stuff i usually get… AWESOME!! Emerald fields charges their customer $29.99 BEFORE taxes. In Pueblo I got it for $8 with taxes included. (On sale normally $12 OTD). I paid $70 tonight for two products. In Pueblo i can get the same exact thing but I get 5 for $60. I asked the cashier about this pretty significant price difference. She stated that “I dont compare us to pueblo, we have a higher quality” It’s literally. The same brand, same THC content etc.. They’re robbing you. ALSO, The city of manitou has decided to RAISE the tax from 6% to 10%. Causing ANOTHER increase in price. Cashier said “oh its only a couple of dollars”. Then why didn’t the company take a couple dollars off? Drive to Pueblo or den.

This place used to be so good. It has gone downhill for a while, but customer service went over a cliff and prices increased, along with no more discounts on full ounces. The managers are rude since getting bought out by corporate. Do yourself a favor and go to Maggie's Farm 2 minutes up the road. We literally just got 2 ounces for $274 @MF, when EF wanted $317 for ONE OUNCE! Total rip off, and from the looks of it, most customers under 50 seem to have abandoned this steaming pile. Hopefully they will catch on soon too.

Being one of two recreational facilities they use that to their advantage. Over priced is all I can say. Service is either great or poor. Depends on the moody cashiers and floor staff can be arrogant

Great atmosphere, great people, horrible prices. I usually go to Denver whenever I buy rec. But, was in the Springs visiting my kids and decided to check them out (not alot of choices around Colorado Springs). The store is clean, bright and easy to navigate and browse. The people that I talked to were hella cool and reasonably knowledgeable. But... And this is a huge but... The pricing is insane. I wound up making a purchase (like I said, limited options) but I felt like I needed a shower and a cigarette when I left. 50 bucks for an 1/8! Come on, those are Ohio prices!

Awesome place this is the only place I'll go back to when I'm in the area

the absolute best place to go outside Denver. a little pricey but u literally can't leave unhappy. it's impossible and the staff make sure of that. usually they have Casey Jones and chemmy Jones and the best selection of everything. and on a side note, their waiting room has excellent merch like coffee cups and cook books etc. my favorite place to aquire the best weed.

A different kind of atmosphere you walk around a table to check out their strains but its an order at your own pace kind of place lots of cool merch too. A good selection probably at least 10-12 choices when we were there. Very friendly staff and security.
