Cannabist - Chicago (medical)

Unfortunately, I have to update my last review. Pricing is pretty standard maybe even a little better than other dispensaries! They always have some sort of deal going on and if you're plan your medical needs correctly and can ration it's smarter and will save you money and time. The atmosphere... other dispensaries are more open, brighter, more colorful, and not nearly as locked down. I don't mind it, but others might. Service now here is where things take a nose dive. I'm a medical patient. Illinois just started recreational this year. I've been medical for almost 2-3 years now. I can definitely tell who is there to help patients and I can tell who is there to just sell weed ... I'm a patient it shouldn't feel like I'm talking to a drug dealer. That is the whole reason I got my medical card. To treat my disease! Sometimes the sales associate doesn't help me find the best deals, hence charging me more, I won't name names. I've had a problem with a product and the person refused to fully refund or fully replace it hence I got shorted $15 because I have a food allergy 🙃 and edibles aren't FDA regulated so they often use labels they aren't supposed to... This put the cherry on top, I had an issue with my credit card. and instead of helping me fix it, the person kind of just put there hands up and walked away like "fuck you". But a newer employee came and helped me and it was a small inconvenience but he fixed it and I was able to leave with my medicine. I am appalled that the person who had been working there longer than anybody did not give a shit about helping me nor did they seem to care about making the sale! If it wasn't for the cheap product, the deals, and the fact that a handful of the employees are absolutely amazing, I would not return.

The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend to a friend. IL prices are high but they run good specials and have a great rewards program.

Columbia Care is a very modern, clean well kept shop with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am a first time card holder and they were able to guide to the right product for my needs. They had a really great selection.

Good selection of flower and concentrates- good friendly service- chase bank is close by but they take credit cards which is a huge timesaver. Wheel wednesdays are legit fa sho

I gotta hand it to these folks... they are doing this the right way. Very relaxed and chill atmosphere, super helpful staff, and the inside is what I would expect from a higher end dispensary in Colorado. If you're on the North side, this is the place to go.

This was my first dispensary visit and the care is so fabulous that I have no reason to go elsewhere. I have more than one qualifying condition and these folks do a great job of uncomplicating it all. Go here and you'll never regret it!

walking in, it's a beautiful setting. the decor of the place is just as warm and welcoming as the staff. Ebony was such a delight to speak with! the budtenders were super nice, answered my question s and even waited patiently while I browsed their wares. This is definitely my favorite dispensary out of the three I have been to in Illinois! They have one of the best selections of products, which are also much lower than other dispensaries I've been to. Not only that, but I found the staff here to be extremely knowledgable. They really focus on individualized care for the patients. One of the patient care representatives, Mickey even helped me out to find my perfect dose of RSO to make into capsules. The thing I like about this dispensary is that often times, they recommend products based on my symptoms and they pay close attention to products that have worked well with me in the past and products that I didn't like. I've gone to majority of their patient care reps and they're all so genuine and kind and they all look at the patient's best interest in mind.

Very nice staff in a beautiful location. The products are great and very similar to those at other dispensaries. I found that the pricing was better for the vape cartridges compared to my previous dispensary.
