Bud Hut - Maple Valley

I just moved to Maple Valley and was looking for a new go-to dispensary. This dispensary has a great selection, is clean, and reasonably priced. My only complaint is: as a person who likes to browse and ask questions I constantly feel rushed here. Every 30 seconds an employee asks if there is something they can grab for me. I never feel like I can take my time here. It almost feels like they work off of commission. For this reason I will be finding a different dispensary.

Not sure if the management understands that having an updated menu brings more people (there are those that prefer not having to deal with tenders, or like to see all options in list form) and cuts transaction times cuz people like me come in knowing what they want

WHAT?!? No more Senior Sunday discounts? I'm extremely disappointed in your lack of humanitarianism for those of us elderly who struggle daily. And the Price Increases? REALLY!!! It's bad enough the taxes are sky higher than anyone could ever get with any of your products. I finally found a tincture product that gives some relief of my chronic pain so I can sleep better, a necessary part of the healing process. PLEASE BRING BACK THE SENIOR SUNDAY DISCOUNT and RECONSIDER LOWERING THE PRICES on your products. Your Grandmother would be very grateful. It is thanks to this elderly generation that your products became legalized in our state... and remember we paved the way to allow you to profit. BTW - Every staff member I have encountered has been extremely helpful and friendly. Corporate heads and decision makers need to thank the staff and show appreciation to your customers.

The staff has suggested incorrect stuff 4 times now. I’ll ask for an indica, something very relaxing and when I get home I notice that they gave me saliva or something high energy. They also don’t always put your discounts in On sale items or deals and so you end up paying more. Plus we keep getting helped by one particular guy in their staff and he is ALWAYS high and doesn’t seem to care about helping anyone. Seems a bit unprofessional even for a cannabis store.

These guys get an A+ with customer service. Love going in when it's not busy cause you can actually carry a conversation with the staff. Always helpful and happy to help whenever I walk in. Though like a previous review said, it really does suck when you spend 50-100$ each visit and one of the products won't scan because it was accidentally rung up multiple times. Luckily they were able to find a very comparable product. Huge selection with great pricing, about 2-3$ cheaper than the mainstream and local stores. Though stuff is always changing, so when you head in and see something you like, might as well get it. Wish there was a consistently updated menu, I usually plan trips to retail stores based on strain, grower, and pricing, would be more regular if I had an idea what was in stock.

Bud tenders attitudes are great. They work their butts off too busy lines every time I’m there.. If I was just basing off of personality then I would give five stars every week. However multiple times now in last 4 months I have come in for deals (that I’m sent in text), pick the products the bud tender helps me pick out, go to the register and pay then realize none of what I chose applies to the sales. Two times now I’ve been boned out of the 20% off due to improper type purchases. If it was just once then I wouldn’t even write this. But twice now, come on. I was told both times I could get a refund to my card and go look for the correct products. I just don’t really feel like spending another 15 minutes choosing when I think I’m done. My loss of 20 bucks each time, and don’t get me wrong, it’s close so I’ll be back...but hey they sent me a text asking for my feedback and experience. So I’m providing it.

by far the coolest of the bud shops in the area. wide and open which i love. no shoulder to shoulder shopping. which is a rarity in this business. there is not much i don't like about this place. deals and low price. mad sections and well organized. the only down fall is i wish it was next door to my house. #BillsMafia

Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Jason was very helpful, explaining all the different products and helping me find exactly what I wanted. The store is very well organized and clean, best selection of products I've seen in the entire state! I will definitely be recommending to everyone I know!

The Bud Hut has a huge selection of flower, concentrate, and edibles from medium to super high quality. The prices are excellent. I wish they put their menu on Leafly so I could better plan my visits.

Good to have local shop but if you are recommended a product to try and they ask for your feed back. YOU DON'T TELL THEM YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! ESPECIALLY WHEN DUDE SAYS HE'S SMOKED IT TOBOOT! PLUS $35 ISN'T WHAT I CALL CHEAP WHEN THE HIGHEST PRICE OIL OR DAP IS $40 BAD BUSINESS! Don't ask for feed back if you can't except the answer right! Not many there really know there products very well because to much turn over on vendors products or just not enough from same vendors to keep products predictable? But you must have a handle on what you sell the numbers don't mean a hole lot most are fudged by the producers by sprinkling a little extra crystals from the collection rack from the auto trimming then sent out for test results! Just ask hightimes magazine if you got a plant that's producing over 28%THC test results they definitely would want to test it themselves straight off the plant because over 28%THC to many Crystal's plant cannot photothinsasize because of the reflection of the Crystal's the light can't reach the buds! Do your research I tell you no LIES! But asking for there opinion well your knowledge is probably better if you know your way around the business but still kinda a pig an a poke! Without being able to smell the bud or really feel it I found most is bone dry because the producers don't want to take the Time to rehydrate after trimming unless it's hand trimmed but not much of that when you be growing 10-50lbs just take to much Time to hand trim that much at a time. It just goes straight to market sadly because it still will be bought by someone wanting some weed anyway. :-(

Great shop, however if you dont know your strains i suggest looking them up in leafly first. Went in, asked for a strong indica, and was given dirty girl which is a straight sativa. Not even a hybrid. Made me doubt the staffs knowledge slightly as this is not the first time this happened hence why i got this app.

I wanna give a shout to Brandon who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The selection is great and the staff is super friendly. Definitely will be going back!

(This is a honest review, on (imo), the knowledgeable, staff, atmosphere, quantity & quality) I recently moved from West Seattle, to Maple Valley, & thakfully landed right next to this place. So, for me, it works out awesome. Everyone is SOOOO friendly, warm hearted, KNOWLEDGEABLE staff & overall a very..."welcoming" shop! I get a warm welcome everytime I prance thru the door lol😁🥰 There's literally nothing bad about this shop. People,.... prices are rocketing up, EVERYWHERE. *(& guys, please remember that the employee's working at these shops, DON'T make those prices!! It's as if everyones main complaint, is that it's "too expensive". No s**t, however pricing is going up, EVERYWHERE!! This place has some quality s**t too. So you do get what you pay for. Plus they have daily discounts, & if you're apart of their "rewards system", you save quite a bit actually. Even if all that, WASN'T available, I'd still go there! LOL I am not going to waste gas, driving all over to find the "cheapest" version of what I want. You'll end up spending more $ (Trust me on that 😉) cheers everyone 😊

I liked that the Bud Hut staff are so accommodating. I’ve been going there for a while and they’re friendly to me and we have nice little talks.

been to this location ah couple of times and I must say the quality of bud is second to none, the staff are very knowledgeable about their products, very friendly clean environment with a number of great stuffs from flowers to pre rolls to edibles and more great find

I’ve had a few hit or misses with staff. Feeling rushed and or talked to like a dummy if I wasn’t sure about product. The last time I came In was excellent. The bud tender was beyond nice and helped me with a quick pick👍🏼 and it’s been a lovely pick indeed. Hopefully it stays consistent and I’ll be back more!

I was thrilled to see MV get a bud shop and looked forward to supporting it. Admittedly, I was kind of taken aback at the flea market feel of the shop. It feels like each counter is a different seller and not collectively a store. There is always a large selection and plenty of employees. However, out of the several local shops, Budhut is the only one who does not stand behind the products it sells. Not only that, but the employees don't tell you there is a no exchange policy for bum products and there is nothing on either their bags or their receipts that say anything either. And it sound like your answer lies in the luck of the draw... who is the manager on duty. Hopefully, others at least have a manager that will come out and speak with you instead of just telling the employee to tell the customer, "no." I will definitely be showing up at local city meetings to get them to approve another shop and hopefully this one will care about their customers and not treat them as though they are disposable. Again, I was so excited to support a local shop, but will still be driving to Covington, Auburn, and Renton rather than dealing with a shop who is done as soon as they take your cash.

This is my go to place for flower and cartridges. They have a great selection in all different price ranges to fit anyones budget. I have been going here since the first day they opened in Maple Valley and the store has grown so much! They have quality products and customer service is great. Their are a couple of my favorite budhut employees that work at this location that have excellent knowledge of their products and superb customer service. Just to name 2 that stick out and are truly an assest to this company in my opinion is Josh and Bryce!!! Keep up the great work and you are truly appreciated!!!!

Good energy with an educated staff

Love this place. Everyone working here is always so friendly and helpful. Store itself is clean, spacious, and well-stocked. Good prices too.

The selection is horrible. Consistently out of medibles, which is crazy. Deals are not really deals, selection is good at times, horrible at times. Consistent, they are not. Staff is great, that's about it.

Super unorganized. They needs lines or numbers because they never know who to help next. Their loyalty program is a joke, you have to save a link to see what discount you get. Prices are high and the specials are never good. I see way better deals pretty much anywhere else.
