Arbors Wellness - Medical

After visiting many other dispensaries in Ann Arbor, I finally made it into Arbors Wellness. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, even after a funny misunderstanding. They're well organized. Even the packaging is the best in town. Mostly, I want to stress that, as a cancer patient and scientist, I have turned to MMJ to help with sleeplessness, anxiety, discomfort, and normal side effects of chemo. This is the only dispensary in A2 that did not attempt to tell me MMJ could magically cure my cancer. In fact, they hand out a thoughtful and scientific pamphlet explaining as much (along with all the other basics of MMJ). Fantastic organization. I will make them my norm.

Arbor Wellness is like the Apple Store of dispensaries. Their flower is picture-perfect, their staff are warm and knowledgeable, and the space maintains the character of this old, historic Ann Arbor building while adding modern interior design elements.

The Ann Arbor Wellness Collective was my first visit to a dispensery. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and so was the miss budtender in the back. because it was my first visit, if I made a $10 donation I got 1 gram free. They had a large selection of flower, concentrates, and edibles. I recieved a tote bag along with a flat rolling serface, a box of matchs, stickers, and a new patient information booklet; containing all sorts of information about cannabis. I had picked up two prerolls. One was sour og and the other was grand daddy purple with hash. They were well rolled, but they both 'cannoed'. There isn't anything you can really do about that, but they were still delicious. The free gram I got for my donation was sunset surbert, (it was the sweetest smelling bud I probably ever had) and my boyfriend whom was with me and also was a new patient had picked out skywalker for his gram. we got home smoked down and passed out. It was the best sleep I had in a long time. So thank you Ann Arbor Wellness Collective, for making my first dispensery experience a great one!

A diamond in the rough for dispensaries, A2WC is tucked away in downtown Ann Arbor. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and professional. They have a very wide selection of quality meds at fair prices. The environment is simple and comfortable. The real deal.

Great Spot.. Helpful Bud Tenders & Very Nice Product.. Especially the Flower.

This was the first collective I visited when I moved to Michigan, well over a year ago. For months I was an extremely loyal customer. They knew my face, they knew my name, and when I walked in everyone looked happy to see me. I was a regular. Since I am a patient on Disability, I would frequent their "happy hours," to save a few dollars. These folks knew me so well, in fact, a couple times I would arrive a few minutes past "happy hour," and they'd still be kind enough to extend the same discount. Unable to afford their medicine without the 10% "happy hour" discount, after many months of allegiance I was forced to go elsewhere- until they started offering the same 10% discount for patients on "Disability." I couldn't wait to go back. People on Disability typically receive less than $700 per month- every dollar counts. And every dollar especially counts when you are trying to alleviate severe pain- daily. So after many months, when they began to offer the "Disability" discount- and I could afford a donation- I happily returned. I donated for a gram, and explained that I understood they now had a discount for patients on "Disability." Before I continue, please know this: There were 5 people in the room when the following incident occurred- a budtender, a manager, 2 other patients whom I did not know, and myself. The manager told me (paraphrasing), that the discount only applied to those who are "visibly disabled," as in- a patient in a wheelchair, using a cane or walker, etc. I explained that according to the State of Michigan, I am Disabled, and receive a government check because of my Disability. The manager replied (paraphrasing) that, "We are all disabled if you really think about it." I asked him if he gets Disability checks from the state, as well. His answer was no. And then he told me the "Disability Discount" was really only for those who made significant donations- 1/2 oz., 1 ounce, etc. My total income is under $700 per month- I donate for a gram when I can- and make it last as long as possible. The manager's response (paraphrasing) was, "Saving $1 on a gram is really that big a deal to you?" I was astounded. Again- a budtender, the manager, and two patients whom I did not know were all witness to this. Angry? No. Hurt? Yes. Humiliated? Beyond humiliated- I wanted to disappear. And I did. I haven't been back. Sometimes it is embarrassing enough to explain to people you have a disability, that you receive money from the state- but to be humiliated like this at a collective? In front of strangers? Shameful. Reprehensible. Disgusting. I told the manager, "You know, a dollar might not seem like a lot to you, but it means a whole lot to me because of my fixed income." He smirked. I told the budtender and the manager that they were about to lose a loyal customer for life over $1 and the humiliation they were causing me, and neither seemed to care less. As I left, I spoke to the receptionist- who knows my face well: "Is that really the policy here? The State of Michigan counts me as Disabled but the AAWC does not? What about disabilities you can't see- like PTSD, crippling depression/anxiety, disabilities counted for SSI, or even multiple herniated discs (which is what I have)? I was on high dosages of narcotic painkillers for years, enough to be labeled "Disabled" by the state, and unless I'm using a walker I can't get $1 off a gram? Really?" She just kind of shook her head. I walked out a few months ago and have not been back since. Humiliated, embarrassed, disgusted. Interestingly, when I called today- I first asked (a different) receptionist the same question, "Do you offer a discount for patients who are Disabled?" And her response (today!) paralleled the one given to me months ago(paraphrasing): "Visibly disabled, wheelchair, cane, walker, etc." The owner again seemed shocked. Because . . . he had trained her himself. Wow. What about PTSD? People on SSI? Sometimes you can't always "see" a disability. But apparently, the AAWC thinks they can. The staff literally stood there arguing with me as to whether or not I am disabled- in front of a bunch of other patients- over $1. Put yourself in my shoes. How would you feel? You have a choice where to spend your money. Disabled or not, next time you are thinking of going to the Ann Arbor Wellness Collective, please consider this review. These are the people you are handing your money to.

Beautiful boutique-y interior, with better bud than I can find in most places. They're also very reliable for CBD products - I drive in from Detroit to buy mine. I'll definitely keep coming in.

Definitely a dispensary for "grown-ups" - everything is professional and top-notch. There is nothing intimidating about the experience; they do everything to make it easy and comfortable: free parking in prime Ann Arbor location, a pleasant interior, friendly and highly professional staff who take their time explaining things and answer even the dumbest questions patiently. Recommend highly (pun not intended, but . . . )

This happens to be my favorite spot in Ann Arbor. They always have top quality flower and the prices are competitive. Parking in the back is one of my favorite things about this place. You rarely find that downtown. You will wait a few minutes in the lobby, but the staff is friendly and they do a good job being quick, while not making you feel rushed.

I haven't been to a dispensary located in the City, but it was everything I expected and thensome. The location was prime, not shady, the staff was not only courteous and helpful, but exceedingly kind, sympathetic and knowledgeable. They treated me with the utmost respect and made me feel at home as soon as I walked in. I will be back the next time I come to Ann Arbor, without a doubt! ♡ Thanks guys.

The location is great nice atmosphere. I also love the personable service I receive when I come in and the service I get when I leave if there was something I want they will do their best to get it.

As an older female, I felt very safe in driving to where Arbors Wellness is located. I read reviews and felt this would be a good choice for a first-time visit to a medical marijuana dispensary. The three staff members I met today made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. I was there for about 30 minutes. Thanks, Tony, for not laughing or rolling your eyes when I mispronounced “sativa” and asked about a senior citizen discount! Wish it were closer to where I live, but well worth the trip.

This shop sucks. My second time in and it was going to be at least 30-45 minutes before I even got into the bud room and the same two ppl were in there like 20 min. There was only one dude ahead of me n I still walked out because it was still going to take forever. Their flower is also way overpriced even for a dispensary. Won't be returning you guys need to get your shit together we're there to buy weed not tell you our life story!

This place is quite simply, waaaaay too overpriced. It's insulting what they charge for edibles, flower, and concentrates. Even when they have sales here it is more economical for me to drive all the way to Lansing and back (100 miles), than to come here (40 miles).

I wish they had a better selection. The staff is pretty knowledgeable with what they have but their menu is always pretty limited. Their pricing, to me, is pretty weird as well. Sometimes they have a 17% THC as top-shelf quality. I'm not a snob or anything but it doesn't make sense. I get how the experience is subjective but I thought a percentage would give a little more information about quality than their pricing system. They have pretty good deals through out the week an the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating

I have been to the AAWC many times, and i can safely say that any time you visit, you are in for a treat. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, knowledgeable in all aspect off the plant. The quality of the medication is fantastic, and the variety, while not staggering, is more than sufficient. A wide range of hybrids, indicas, sativas, concentrates, pre rolled, simpson oil and edibles. My only complaint is the prices. Definitely a top shelf dispensary, so expect to pay 70 to 75 an 8th. Overall, i recommend this dispensary hands down over the others in the area. You pay for what you get, and at the Ann Arbor Wellness Collective's case, that happens to be supreme quality buds.

This place is great and has a large selection of quality medication from concentrate all the way to flower the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and the location is great 1 of the best places in Ann Arbor make sure you stop by and check it out

Very nice, quaint shop right in downtown AA. Staff was nice, atmosphere was great. Product was good and prices were decent.

Another premier dispensary in Ann Arbor. Fantastic selection, friendly staff, and the perfect location. One of the nicest establishments in the state. If you are in tree town, stop in and see these guys!

I like this place. Good quality flowers all labeled with thc an cbd potency. Have yet to get a bud that was 'ugly' from here. As a matter of fact in my opinion this place has the best quality flowers in Michigan period. Similar to other reviews I could only hope to have an even wider selection. They average around 18 strains to choose from in my visits, which is plenty, but who doesn't love more choice. The budtenders are always friendly and professional. The free parking tends to fill fast, but downtown a2 has that problem. If you are in Michigan you should definitely make a trip to Ann Arbor, great things are always going on.

This place is really taking advantage of people. It's obvious they dont care about the patient with the way the raised their prices after the other dispensaries shut down. High prices for low quality. Just because they could!
