When I first arrived at the glass shop I was greeted and the lady was very accommodating towards my blindness, showing and explaining several pieces on display. My experience in the dispensary was enjoyable. This facility is professionally run, and also were very accommodating toward my blindness. The gentleman allowed me to handle and smell the several varieties of flour as well as some crumble. While the selection of strains was not extensively diverse at the time of my visit, I was informed that many more strains were on the way. AAS is professional, helpful and I recommend them to anyone in the Albany area. They were also accommodating to with prices. Personally it seems depending on the strain, anything more than an eighth can get pricy very fast. I recommend using dispensaries in general for more difficult forms of medications such as edibles and oils as they can be time consuming to make on your own. Flours were excellent quality but again I wonder if flour of the same quality could be had for about half the donation, in some cases, elsewhere. A++ for Albany Alternative!

SHATTERDAY DEAL IS GONE!!! Don't expect an update on leafly or any other site -- current dispensary news is being transmitted via word-of-mouth. It sounds like it's supplier level change -- stuff happens -- but shatterday was my only draw to this spot. For clarity, I spent about $3000 last year at AAHS, tipping 14% on top of that, soley off the shatterday deal. Unforunately, at the regular price point of $20/g, it's not worth driving the distance. End of an era. I'd encourage y'all to update your information (hours, deals, etc); on facebook, google, leafly, any of them. Other than that, thanks for the great service over the years. Great assortment of medibles and the staff is really helpful getting a person what they need.

Really nice people, comfy lounge area to wait, very informative staff behind the counter and lots of selection of flower and any/everything else you need. Will return again, and would recommend.

A great new place in Albany to get medicine when the grower goes AWOL. Great flowers, lots of choices and edibles too. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Construction is almost complete thank the Gods ;)

Person behind the counter was answering questions about things he did not know! Sold me terrible flower, he knew I didn't have a lot of money and assured me I was getting a good deal! I was not, Terrible! Will not go again, felt totally scammed when I left there!

I have been there five times and each time was enjoyable ,easy and very informative with a good selection of edibles and such.

These guys know they're stuff. Extremely knowledgable on all of their products, very kind and patient they took they're time to explain what the best kind of meds for my situation would be and it worked great. They carry AMAZING products to choose from. Friendly staff with big hearts and a warm professional atmosphere.Great place, I am so pleased. Will be back again soon! This is my first experience with a medical dispensary and the folks at AAHS made it a pleasure. They are just starting out and the selection of medicine is small but quality. The Blue Dream is awesome! I will no doubt be back and look forward to a larger selection.
