Hawaii is extremely limited on places to get your medical cannabis and we are very lucky to have MGT here on Maui for access to solid and lab tested products. Having been a patient in California before, I have had the opportunity to see many different types of dispensaries operate and I am very pleased with the way they run their business. They have really nice staff members at all levels and I enjoy going in and don't feel like I am being pushed away when I ask a lot or take a long time to choose. They are limited with showing the product to the patients and its a result of the way the laws are I believe but I heard them speaking about trying to get ways for patients to smell the flowers prior to purchasing their medicine, which would be very nice and I think they should do that asap. I think they do there very best within the law here and thats all I can ask for. I have tried the Chocolope, Royal Medic, and some others but my favorite was the CBD containing Royal Medic Strain. Extremely fruity flavor and enough of both to help product CBD and THC. I recently got some of the 2:1 CBD/THC capsules and they do work but I realize I am not an edible guy and prefer to invest in other ways using the flowers. I would say don't expect to touch and smell the products while in the dispensary, and maybe research their menu on their website (Updates Daily) before purchasing a strain to learn about it. I have noticed very consistent flowers and it has never disappointed me yet. I will say I do not care for the prices of larger amounts, as I have seen people choose to go to the street over the dispensary, even though they claim raising the price does the opposite and will discourage people from selling what they buy there, I highly disagree and actuallu have seen the opposite occur. Who wants to sell what we get from the dispensary, definitely not me! If anything it causes people to break the law and buy together from there for the slight discount on bulk. We are already law abiding licensed patients so do not assume that we are going to flood the streets with the medicine we get. If MTG is reading this, then please do anything you guys can to drop the prices please so patients like myself can afford to keep going there and get larger amounts such as an ounce. Prices are not crazy, although I have seen some items priced higher than I would like to see. It is reasonable for people who buy small amounts but I never buy less than a half ounce and It should be cheaper in my opinion for people like me and for that I am disappointed and have bought in smaller amounts than Id hoped to. If there was an option for overall I would give them a 4 star for the pricing and not being able to better show the products. but for service, quality and atmosphere I give the place a 5. Any other dispensary trying to open doors would have a high bar set to reach their standards. (Pun Intended)
