The Apothecarium - Castro

I loved the location, the atmosphere, the comfortable, well furnished, and very good looking facility. The black and white wood walls and floor make you feel as if your at a nice small restaurant. The staff was patient, curious and very friendly. They where also knowledgeable and could easily answer any and all questions. They quality of all their products was excellent and they have a wide selection of products at a decent range of prices but they tend to be s bit on the expensive side at times. This has been my go favorite and steady dispensary since I got my card 6 months ago and they also offer a veterans discount and have special promotions and veterans club area of their site so if your a vet like me definitely check it out. You just need your VA ID card or DD214. The only place I like better than here and whose selection, price range and more I like just a bit more is the Barbary coast, where even their $45 1/4 where better in quality than the $40-$45 8ths I've seen at a handful of places and the staff & building are amazing similar to the apothecary

I went here for the first time today and I have to say it's my new favorite dispensary in the city. They do a few things that are unlike any other places I've been. First of which is here they actually let you touch the bud, break it apart, instead of just smelling it and maybe looking through a magnifying glass. The other thing that was different was, as a first time customer instead of having to pick between an edible or a pre rolled joint here you get both.bits a small thing and one time deal but still nice. As far as the staff and facility is concerned I have nothing but great things to say as well. The woman who helped me was very welcoming, friendly, cheery and sweet. She was very knowledgeable about all the products, was honest about what was abs wasn't worth the extra money and made excellent recommendations. Plus she was extremely patient and seemed to enjoy taking extra time to look at as many strains as you wanted without feeling rushed. As far as the location it's in what kind of looks like a very nice old bar with an all dark wood counter, wood floors, stained wood trim on the walls with several very nice big comfy leather sofas in the main room and in the front by the desk. The only other club I've been to so far whose facility I like as much is the apothecary. They Also have an actual leather bound menu, the kind you'd see at a restaurant, with a very wide selection of products, 2-3 pages of edibles, 2 for concentrates, the same for vapes and basically the same pages for everything you can think of. Not only is the selection wide but the or be range is too, I was looking at 1/8th so I didn't see anything else. They had prices ranging from a handful of $60 8ths, a few more $55's, a solid number of 50's and a large amount of $45 8ths. Today they even a deal on $45 1/4 of trainwreck that was as good as some $40-$45 8th I see at many places. All around from $45-$60 8ths the quality of great bud was outstanding and they had a very wide & equal verity and range of strains. So there was about the same amount of sativa & indica as there where of the sativa and indica dominate hybrids and CBD heavy strains. Rarely is a place this well and thoroughly stocked. If your a veteran I believe they give a discount, I just left the service and forgot to ask until after I paid but I was told they offer 10% if you have your VA ID or DD214
