Ayahuasca Purple

4/9/2019
One of the most striking features of Ayahuasca Purple- was the coloration- lots of dark purple, almost black nodes off the stem, and some beautiful pinks and purples- almost at random. That hazelnut - papaya Smelled so unique, the room was all abuzz with how they interpreted it. Tastes very nutty, with pepper spice. I think this was one of the best things I've tasted all year. Super funky in every way.

Irene Apricot

A craft grow, buds were clearly hang dried in perfect humidity to ensure that it can still stick to glass. Showing wider sativa flowers with bracts almost completely obscured by the enormous resin glands. Tones of purple on inner leaves with a medium distribution of long copper pistils. Aroma was that of a candlestick makers shop, peachy, incense, a tiny bit of white wood. Initial draw was sweet sandlewood, enveloping into a very rich and velvety smoke with notes of peach marmalade ending in a soft spice bomb, leaving every part of my palate wanting more. Very high ceiling- Could be a good weekend smoke all day, or just save for your private stocks. Perfect last of the night bowl to ease you into dreamland with euphoria. I enjoyed the profile of this strain immensely. Tastes, looks, aroma, effect. I hope to see more of it in the future. Top 5 or 2018 so far for me

Fruity Pebbles

11/7/2018
Crafty growers have caught on to the idea that customers are shopping with their nose. By isolating phenotypes representing tropical and malty sweet vanillin from various hybrids, many growers claim parenthood to fruity pebbles. A cross of Green Ribbon and Granddaddy Purps, was bred with a strain crossed from Tahoe OG and Alien Kush.Indica dominant- many phenotypes exhibit bright red and purple fan leaves which contribute to the name. Aroma in jar was concentrated passionfruit / lime. Busting revealed spice and oak barrel. Smoke was heavy and carried a pronounced berry- sweet cereal vibe truly indicative of the name. On exhale that trailed into more classic notes of OG spice and lime. Palate smashing, I was left chewing my gums reminiscing about playing contra as a kid while my cereal got soggy waiting for me to die. Effectively pain relieving with out leaving me stuck in the couch cushions, it was certainly a great evening jam- but now I believe it makes a great daytime weekend session before a bbq. Would pair well with 70's cocktails like frozen daiquiris or pina colada's. One of the more memorable flavor profiles I have experienced in a while, people will certainly be asking what you're smoking if you break this out at a party. Like Toucan Sam- Just follow your nose, Fruity Pebbles should be a giveaway the instant you taste it.

The natural earthen notes of coffee and chocolate are enhanced with a bouquet of spice notes from the Cihtral kush- This is something you want when you're writing a mid term college paper, or hitting up the trails for a long fall jog. Best sativa forward hybrid I have tried this year- top 3 of all time for me. I suffer from major fatigue due to Multiple Sclerosis and this is great daytime medication, helps get the chores done, rather than sinking into the floor.
