I went to Groundswell today because I heard about their Spread the Word deal on Leafly. The advertisement reads "post a review on Leafly, yelp!, Weedmaps, or Facebook and let is know the next time you come in. We'll give you $5 off your purchase for each site you post a review to!" However, when I brought it up at the dispensary, I was told that I could only use 1 review($5) per visit. Since I'm making the transition from Texas to Denver with very little money, I went with the $5 Sweet Grass snicker doodle.I asked if I could come back later that day and use the deal, and I was told yes. I came back 30 min later and then again about 6 hours later around 5:30. Then I came back 30 minutes later and was told that I could not use my last 2 reviews ever because I was taking advantage of the deal(*them* based on the fake nice, judgement masking tone she used). Most companies want and tell you to take advantage of their deals, and don't see it as shameful when you you do especially when the advertisement doesn't even outline any limitations on the deal. It was pretty insulting. I'll never go back.
