I grew some Columbian gold seeds, from an old vet buddy that said the mother plant that produced the seeds I have now, was grown in 78'. I had no issues with germination. The plant grew great outdoors, here in Central AZ. from Jan 30 2021-jun-2021. It produced some rather large, fluffy (not airy) lime green buds. The best way I can describe the smell was like greasy mechanic hands. the guys that wrench on their own cars will know what I'm talking about. it's kinda gassy and greasy, at the same time. nice thick resin production. smokes smooth, decent flavor. but if your spoiled to some of the newer, more exotic cultivars, it may taste a bit like old fashioned brick dope. not bad, but definitely not a modified or enhanced strain, flavor wise. if you don't like sativas or espresso coffees... You won't like this. it's pure caffeine in a paper. and the high is very much like a massive OD of coffee. very jittery, caffinated and cerebral high. not very long lasting, either. I'd like to run another in my tent, under the SF4000, but I have some other genetics, I'd like to cycle through 1st. I'll post an update, once I get the next one finished. overall impressions: the good: Good daytime smoke. I like to roll 4 or 5 prerolls for the day, of this stuff. I can toke on it all day, and not get fried out. and still accomplish most anything I wanna do. The bad: The flavor isn't that great. 10/10 would NOT run this strain for extracts. not the biggest producer. I pulled 8oz off a full sized plant. (I average 2lb plants, of other strains, under the exact same nutes and exact same lighting outdoors) IF you can find the beans, it's cool to grow and to have as a novelty. but you won't win a cannibis cup with it.

the last body I bought from here (Silverback Gorilla 1/8oz) smelled fine in the store, in the sample bag. as I'm a relatively lite smoker, and I had some more flower at home, I just added the silver back to my small collection of strains and didnt get around to trying it for several days. when I did open the container, it smelled like pure ammonia. the bud was stored and packaged before it was completely cured. I've grown before and I know what rotten bud tastes smells like when improperly cured. I tossed the whole 1/8.

Just picked up a $75.00 OZ of popcorn nugs from Ponderosa Releaf here in Peoria. smells like Funky, Dank Dragon fruit, yes the auctual fruit. go to Safeway or frys when they have fresh dragonfruit, buy one and try it, then compare the smells! buzz is very Indica like, stony and has a strong couch locking body buzz. very calming (for me, at least) love the flavor, very hashy and almost overpowering flavor, which I love! would like to see it a bit more well cured as the OZ I got is quite fresh and still damp enough to stick to the wall! (yes, I tried it!) but still seemed a bit more damp than I would like to see. Which leads me to the density. The bugs are nice and dense, while being pretty gummy. (not grinder friendly) I can grind small nuggs in my grinder individually, but not more than a half a gram or so, it's just too sticky! For the money, I have ZERO complaints with this strain at all! I will definitely purchase more!
