Scarlet Fire

Scarlet Fire is my favorite strain and I’ve found it nearly impossible to track down, much less get a clear, widely agreed upon generic lineage. No one seems to know exactly who she is and where she comes from. She the perfect strain so naturally a she’s a total mystery.
I first got this strain from a dispensary back in 2010, The bottle said Indica - Mango x Sensi Star. She was bright green with gorgeous orange hairs and beautiful in bright light. Like looking at a sunset in your hands.
The aroma was exactly the same as the flavor, incredibly sweet and fruity, like the strain Mango but amplified. Sweetened and enhanced, magnified.
The high is the perfect hybrid experience, comes on super smooth, one of those strains just always makes you smile from that first hit. There’s a wonderful serenity that settles over your mind and body. But it’s such an entertaining high, it’s easy to stay awake and engaged. Great for social anxiety, entertaining guests, parties, concerts, hikes. Makes workouts more fun. Also goes great with movies, video games, snuggling. Makes food taste amazing. At higher doses it becomes more visual and trippy. But never paranoia inducing. Just the ultimate recreational strain. And a great one for newbies.
When I had Scarlet around I used her to help me wake up smoothly, clear-headed, with less pain and a big old smile on my face for no reason whatsoever. During the day, she helped relieve my chronic muscle spasms and nerve pain and kept me in a positive state. Everything just looked more beautiful, too. Colors enhanced. Sometimes I’d see trails.
At night or just after work, Scarlet is perfect to unwind with. Amazing stress reliever without ever making you feel stoned. Also an amazing aphrodisiac. Puts you both in a great mood and makes everything feel super sensual. And when you’re ready to fall asleep or having trouble relaxing enough to drift off, Scarlet will gently take your hand and guide you to into dreamland. And I would usually have the best dreams with her too.
I finally saw her again last year. I got some live resin from a local dispensary. The flavor and high were identical. I think this time they claimed it was Alaskan Thunderfuck x Mango. All I know is she’s like mango on steroids. Mega Mango.
The closest high I can compare het to would be Strawberry Banana, just much more sensual, visual, and euphoric and recreational. If anyone sees her, tell I still think about her, 🥺
