Everything up that a sativa or sativa dominant has to offer, except (for me at least) no nervous stomach, no anxiety really, though definitely a physical swell of energy and motivation. I have ADHD and if I wake and bake with this though, I fight to stay awake. If I do zonk, or use after noon I'm zinging right along. Since concentrate, it mostly tastes earthy-woody-floral, but there's a bit of maybe pine too. Haven't had the flower but this live resin Pink Lemonade makes me think it's gotta be good.
Perfect evening choice. Moderate dosage (2 - 4 tokes) gives me mild but obvious energy for ~ 45 minutes, if I need to do things, more like two hours. About 3/4 of the way through the high dips just enough to signal to finish up and settle in because sleep is coming soon.
The mind and body high come on rapidly together, one leading the other. I guess it overwhelms some people so if you're not an experienced regular smoker and start to get nervous or anything negative just know you will be great in a few minutes. Honestly, not only will you be okay, you will be really gooood. Then the intensity of the awesome good feelings will peak and ebb in waves which is a lot of fun when you realize it's not going to just ramp down. Eventually it stabilizes into a solid several more hours before the urge to sleep starts building.
This is an excellent strain all the way around. Pipe Keepers has done it again, bringing quality cultivars for every level of consumer. Many strains, like this delicious Modified Grapes, are top shelf at very reasonable prices. Thanks Pipe Keepers, it's obvious you guys love good herb too!
It's the only dispensary in the northern Finger Lakes region, medical or recreational, that has online ordering and drive-thru window pick-up. Though I enjoy going in to a retail shop to look around as part of buying, I'm finding this way of shopping is great, convenient. It wouldn't work though without nice people who care about doing this well with friendly attitudes.
The people are very nice, manage the drive-thru very well (they're adding a second window for busier times), and are helpful in figuring out what you would like if you don't already know. A drive-thru line can generate tension and impatience, but I have never experienced any unkind behavior in line there, it's a nice vibe.
Figuring out what you would like if you don't already know is a lot easier (and fun) also because of the option to buy single grams to try multiple strains without committing to quantities of some you might not prefer. There are always dozens to over 60 stains to choose from in multiple forms (buds, vape, concentrates and hash (nice black hash), infused edibles, gummies, and drinks etc). There are more hybrid than there are number of 'pure' sativa and indica combined, but the modern hybrids are where it's at, combining desired qualities and subtracting unwanted (dry eyes/cotton mouth/couch lock/nervousness/paranoia etc). They do have a couple older favorite sativa and indica choices plus a couple newer of each in the menu, gotta look around their Leafly store.
Their selections run across current and older favorites as well as trying some new lesser known future favorites. They price these unknowns a bit lower which is good to get us trying new things, and some of them are massively potent and delicious! There are also bottom shelf buds in the same price range and they're great for filling out joints/blunts or lighter buzz. If you don't know just ask, they're honest and open people. The midrange and top shelf flowers are pretty much all guaranteed to send you soaring skyward in that good way, what we're able to do in this wide deep field of herb choices is focus on qualities which work best for us/enjoy the most. Approximately one quarter of their strains are good, low to moderate strength. The remaining more than three quarters - well over 40 of their over 60 choices are VERY HIGH QUALITY in flavor, effects, and bag appeal, with some being also very high potency - 25% to 35%+ THC!
Combining the good qualities of the people, the products, process, prices and the shipping/pickup experience, with no negatives, this adds up to the best overall cannabis shopping experience around in my opinion. Oh and the prices are at least in line with fair retail, and usually at least a little better. Quantities are of course a bit better deal even.
This place is getting popular, so when you find a strain you really like, stock up because odds are it will go in a week or two. Fortunately they frequently replaced with more new tasty menu strains so keep checking in. I look forward to every quick convenient all highway trip out there!
