This shit is "very" purple, probably the most purple flower I've seen. If you have insomnia, this is the stuff! When I smoke this, I need to have everything ready for bed, because after smoking, I have time to (maybe) get to the bed, then light's out for the night! Truly a godsend for someone who has trouble getting/staying asleep. It smells like grape jelly :)

White Dawg is a great "thinking" strain. I find it to be mostly Sativa. It makes me very talkative and creative, with creative ideas for solving problems, etc. just rolling off my tongue! It makes me very happy and safe. I save this one for when I need inspiration for an engineering project or any other technical endeavor.

Wow, I don't think I've ever experienced such an intense head high and incredible artistic creativity! Almost immediately after smoking (just a few hits of a pre-roll), I began basically tripping :) I was disoriented, wobbly on my legs, but more importantly, my artistic creativity was on overdrive! I was lying on a deck in the sun and it was an amazing (spiritual) experience. I was able to direct my new powers to focus my mind on a "blank canvas" and had great ideas come rushing in! When I closed my eyes, I even got some patterns and colors (not the normal ones you see when your eyes are closed). It was quite a bit like shrooms. The effects lasted several hours. There was no paranoia or other problems, just the ability to sink into deep blissful happiness, with moving shapes (eyes closed only), creativity off the scale, and did I mention being very very happy? :)

HAPPINESS, enough said!

This is really good weed, but my expectation of Death Star wasn't quite met. I don't get much of the Sativa side of the strain, so for me, it worked better against Insomnia than it did against depression. It does relieve stress and make you happier (duh), but in a fairly laid-back way. It definitely helps me sleep, but does not knock me out like something like Purple Afghani. I'm a nerd, so if you are going to invoke a name like Death Star, I'm going to be expecting a lot! I didn't get overwhelmed by either side of the strain, but this is still a really great evening!

I bought this strain hoping for more trip-like high. It didn't quite deliver that for me, but others that I smoked it with had very good effects. Even people prone to paranoia had a great experience and we had some really great back-porch discussions. For me, the high was quite cerebral, but a bit short-lived and didn't quite match what I was expecting, but I was probably expecting too much, it is just weed after all :) I will buy more of this, to give away as gifts!

For me, this is a strain that is best smoked in a bong. It works very well when smoked in a joint/pipe, but daaaaayum, when I hit this from a bong, it's lights-out! The effects are the same, but it seems that, for me, getting that extra quantity, down deep, makes a big difference. It is overall a single-phase high, it just does it's thing and keeps doing it. At lower doses, I can still think clearly and carry on deep conversations, which is nice. At higher doses, it wraps my mind in a nice blanket of bliss, which is exactly why I use it. Depression/stress fades away and I just laugh at Insomnia. Other people I smoke with like it even more than me, proof that we're all weed-unique!

A really nice journey! I really like using this strain after a physical workout or if I'm really keyed-up and need some time and guidance to chill. It has a really nice Sativa hit in the beginning that just knocks the shit out of whatever depression or bad mood happens to be hanging around, replacing them with a big happy smile. After a bit, it smooths out into a cerebral experience, and I understand the spin of the planet, followed by the onset of help-me-to-bed Indica that helps me sleep deep. Insomnia can't stand up to the power punches delivered by Kimbo (RIP). It smells like hybrid weed, mostly citrus with some turpentine/pine. This strain provides a consistent journey each time and I can count on it to make me a better person :)

Very interesting, multi-stage weed. When I first smoked it, there were some definite cerebral effects. Not quite "trippy" for me, but very introspective. This wore off and then it was just a nice relaxed happiness. I was able to talk and function at this point, and the good feelings stayed around for many hours. So, it basically rips off your face, then gently re-applies it with a smile in place. I didn't have any physical pain, but two others partaking with me did, and they said it had good pain-relieving properties.

So great for sleep!! A few puffs of this and my body and my eyelids were both glued down :) It stopped my brain from firing all cylinders at the same time and made it difficult to hold thoughts. This is exactly what I need because my brain usually won't let me go to sleep. The doctor prescribes sleeping pills, but then I am still sleepy until after 1pm the next day. These Indica strains stop my ADD and Insomnia, without any side effects in the morning, and Purple Afghani does this very well indeed!
