I liked this place. I managed to get a parking spot right at the door. All 3 of the flower people were attentive to their customers (2/23/2018, 2 pm). Purchased two strains. Thanks, Oregon Cannabis Outlet, for a nice experience. Friendly and professional.

It's immediately off 51 on the north end of Indy. Kind of close to the main street. Not too bad. The store itself does kind of have that "friends basement" feel too it even though it's not a basement. This is purely an aesthetic consideration and not a slight. While I was shopping/deciding, my tender made a comment essentially that recreational buyers were coming in and taking their medicine (this was during the first week of rec sales). I was bewildered, as I was standing in a recreational facility. [why do a rec business if that's how one feels about it?]. I've heard of some shops offering discounts or other incentives for out of town customers. I was from out of town so it made me feel unwelcome -- like I was thought of as someone driving in from a distance to buy up what rightfully belonged to the card holders. Weird. The flowers are in jars and back away from the sales counter. Each look at a sample requires the tender to march to the shelf and back (it's not that far but still ... other places have exam samples right in front of you, and then your order id filled once you decide -- so not as efficient as it could be. Maybe they've evolved a little by now, but I haven't been back to check.

1st review! The best kind of location for my sensibilities. Slow street and only a few residences. It's close to a main street but far enough away that there's no traffic to speak of. I always have a safe place to park and find the premises neat and free of clutter or any litter. The staff who check ID are friendly and professional. The tenders (I've dealt with at least 3 different individuals) are all engaged and friendly and informed. I enjoy that the rec-side stock is all pre-weighed and packaged (I can't speak to the medical side). This saves me time! It generally takes me long enough just to make a menu choice. Most of the herb is in pre rolls, grams, 1/8, and 1/4 so, if I wanted I could easily select seven or more strains (can you imagine waiting for 2 customers to have 14 things weighed out)?without creating a bottle neck for other visitors. I prefer not waiting for someone to repeat the same routine for every customer. I own an excellent, certified (for gold) scale. I've never ever thought to weigh any of my purchases from this outfit. I love that I don't have to. I have visited other places in town, there are many cool ones, but this truly is my favorite. But then I value my time.
