First let me list the positives, the decor, prices and quality of pot are all very good. That's not what makes a good pot shop to me, but if that's what you're looking for this is in a really convenient location in the whole Cedar Hills complex. Now let me tell you why I'd rate this shop so low. There was one budtender. The shop looked like it got trafficked pretty well, a line built up while I was there, but only one guy helping. His focus was to hurry you along, not on the sale itself even. Not to mention the one budtender they had for this store was AWFUL. He knew NOTHING about the product he was selling and like I said made me feel rushed. There was no connection no flare, no fun. I asked him for his recommendation and he said "I just smoke whatever" direct quote seriously. Also apparently they sell by the gram, I'm in this for the bulk game, and I want a shop where it feels more like you're going to the bar. Sociable friendly budtenders that know me by name. Give me a welcome to our pot shop we love you or leave the hospitality side. Shout-out to some of my edible homies they do carry Tasty's and Honu here.

When GPS took us through the random trailer park next door, we had no idea what we were in for. Walking in the shop presented a pleasant atmosphere with pleasant people. The shop was small but not in a too small way. The bud being offered was top notch especially one we smelled from their growers a Blueberry something. The price point was a little high for what I like to go to on the regular but they do have loyalty programs that can compensate and if you're a medical user that's not even an issue. I like that the bud isn't pre-packaged I hate that a lot of stores are going that way and the faces were all friendly. A nice little shop.

One of these things is not like the other...it's even better. There isn't much that would make me come back and review a location a second time, especially in so short a span of time; these guys are guilty of making me do that. My partner put a review in a couple weeks ago about our favorite strain, Cinderella 99. There's been a drought of it in Portland lately, but not a month after that review this shop made a point of procuring my girl, Cindy 99. Kudos to everyone in this shop, you know how to keep me coming back.

Nectar is starting to feel like the Walmart of dispensaries to me--maybe Fred Meyer. I mean you'll get decent bud, but I feel strangely dirty about their pre-packaged formula. The service is quick, but doesn't have to be super courteous. If you're in a hurry this is certainly a good place to go, but in this area there's better.

Drink yourself in some of this smoke. The flavor is delightful for any summer day. Any day really, the effect is one of relief and focus. Also a little bit of kick in the bedroom. I would say this is going to become one of my go to strains.

Cannadaddy's has quickly become my favorite dispensary I've visited thus far. It's the variety, the instant you walk onto the floor, it almost makes you dizzy. I love it. I've never bought bad bud from them, even the low quality shelf is a delight. Their deals can't be beat, they frequently carry Cinderella 99, my favorite strain. What is there not to like? They have giant discrete stickers you can put on your car, or seal a crack in your wall. The one critique I would have is more enthusiasm from the tenders, there's a couple of the old staff that are of course amazing, but lately I've been coming in and getting some fairly apathetic tenders.

My grower got the Cannatonic to 14/14% and I have to say this is the Blue Dream for chronic pain sufferers. The high is uplifting and not oppressive, and on top of that hits the mute button on pain. I've certainly had better strains but this is one that I would also want to always keep on hand at the same time.

I had to have this a few times before it became one of my favorites but it's definitely gotten there. It's delicioius, tastes exactly like blueberry muffins, it makes me want to eat, it makes the pain dissappear to that back burner and I can still think clearly. I wouldn't want to go anywhere on this strain but it's a delightful after work, after labor, strain.

This location....the first time we tried to go the place was closed. The second time I tried to go the parking lot was blocked off and so I had a lot of anticipation built up to check out this gorgeous building. It felt small, it felt overpriced, and I certainly wasn't treated like a customer they wanted back.

Well, this venue is in a cute little house on the corner of Powell and 82nd. I would say well laid out, decent product, decent atmosphere...mostly meh. Also I would say a lot of items here are overpriced to nearby comparable stores. The unique thing about Hi is their variety and quality of edibles. That would be what I would visit this store for. As the laws relax I would encourage them to turn this into more of a special bakery.
