Tried this place specifically because I wanted to try the Sherbinskis Sunset Sherbert. I bought 4 prepackaged quarters of the “mixed light-smalls” and they aren’t kidding when they say “smalls”! The buds were more like crumbs, many of which were half the size of my pinky nail. So I now have an ounce of the tiniest little buds I’ve ever seen. The smell was good, the high was very nice, the flavor was lacking a bit, but I tried it as soon as I got home, and have since put it all in a jar with a boveda pack, which should bring it back a bit and bulk up the flavor some as the moisture content gets back to where it should be. Additionally, 3 of the 4 packages were under 7 grams, which was a bit frustrating, especially because every time I’ve bought prepackaged anything in the past, the weight has been slightly over the packaged amount, and when we spend as much money on this stuff as we do, it should be nothing less than what it’s supposed to be, and I believe most products actually package them over because they account for moisture loss. I also was there during happy hour which gives 20% off, just not on Sherbinskis, luckily the budtender did give me 10% for my military discount which I appreciated. It’s very frustrating that I have a medical card but still had to pay excise tax because this product was on the Rec menu. And I could have opted for regular sized buds, but they only come in eighths, and cost $5 extra, so it would have added an additional $40 on to my ounce that I was already paying way too much for. Common sense would make me think the bigger buds would come in the quarters and smaller buds would come in the smaller packages, or better yet, both packages would have some of each, but then they couldn’t charge more for the larger buds. Anyway, the store was very nice and clean, the employees were very helpful, I didn’t feel rushed, I had a really good experience, other than feeling a bit jipped on the price and size of the buds. I will likely visit them again, even though I’m from Kalamazoo and have plenty of shops near me, after all, I need to try the “big” buds at some point, and to be honest, I enjoy Sunset Sherbert so much, it’s really the only thing I’ve smoked for the last 2+ years and I’m willing to travel for it when necessary. I would recommend giving this place a shot, there was a great selection of flower and again, the staff was awesome!
