Not a fan. Gave me awful headaches and super, SUPER dopey. Saving the rest of my 8th for nighttime ONLY. 20 yr smoker, love Indica's at 2o% and this was just too much, even at only 19% !
I was impressed when I walked in to the very clean and organized,
La Mota. I was greeted w smiles and a knowledgeable staff. I went with classic strain of Blue Dream and Cherry Pie. Both strains were handled with care and top quality. I found the budtenders friendly and open late + 5 blocks away = yes, please. :)
Blue Dream was dank and produced a fun, light but pungent high. it was hours and hours before I noticed a come down. Nice for a 20+ yr smoker. Cherry Pie ... well. What's not to love? Potent, piney knock me on my ass tokes. I'll be back. Soon! ;)
Part of the deal at Main Street on October 15th, low THC at 15%. Light yet robust green with nice crystals and subtle citrus is fragrant through the plastic pouch. A nice few nugs from Spark farms.
A super mellow high. An intense bud, yet meelllow. I could handle this at work or before social gathering. That usually means a heavier Indica dominance, in my favor. Again, for me, a lower THC means this is a good strain for me to have WITH OTHER strains as well. After a few days of smoking lower % , the affects are lost and then I feel a bit wasteful with the medicine.
I bought this strain at Main Street, as part of the $25 eighth sale they had on October 15th. While I appreciated the sale, I had a feeling it wouldn't be potent for its THC properties. At 17% this flower from, Spark was pretty to look at through the plastic pouch, we could smell the distinct 'cheese' scent as we opened it.
I definitely had a head change and felt a calming effect, after a moment of intenseness but noticed the length of the high was under the 90minute mark. In the future, I would have other strains around, as I tend to feel less affects after smoking these flowers for a few days in a row. Good for some occasions. I would purchase again.
I've been to 6 other shops and wasn't sure what to expect by this upper floor, smaller looking spot. Boy, was I wrong! I walked in and like all the other dispensaries, I was carded through a plexi-glass window and was buzzed in. I was surprised and smiled when I entered and saw how put together the space was. They had a great local glass selection in a case across from flowers. Apparel lines the wall in neat cubes, wall mirrors that really open up the space, and lots of herb. Lots.
One of the things I noticed right away was their display containers. I have only seen these up in Spokane area, so I was stoked. They are a clear circle container with a magnifying top that really shows off the trichomes and quality of the plant. The container tops easily come off which allow me to touch (lightly, of course!) and really feel the density of the nug, and smell it at its fullest. "Sample nugs", I heard a budtender say. *drool*
The selection is legit and plenty. There are clear descriptions and % info labeled on each glass container. The budtenders were some of the nicest guys I've talked to yet. Jayson is legit and took a lot of time chatting with me and explaining some properties of indica strains I had never read about, which completely changed the way I will pick our strains from here on out. He was super patience and said from the beginning to not feel rushed or embarrassed, as even as a 20 year smoker has some questions sometimes. ;) I had a few strains I had researched on Leafly to check out, and decided on the top 2 picks, Blue Magoo and Skywalker. Hooly shit. Both were great and I cant wait to review them. I'm excited to get back to Attis SE, ASAP! A really great neighborhood and now a great neighborhood dispensary! Thanks again, Attis!
