Nature's Wonder Dispensary - Apache Junction

5/13/2014
Natures Wonder has pretty good meds. I would consider myself a connoisseur and am very picky, they didn't have anything that was really impressive that I would consider to be true top shelf but I've only seen that once in a state licensed dispensary after dozens of visits to lots of different ones. Their meds are still very good, just as good as anything you can get from any other dispensary in AZ. They have different daily offers but a lot of them suck, Mondays is only good if you are buying edibles, Wednesdays is only good if you're a female, etc... On the plus side they give a 10% discount for new patients so that was nice, I almost went somewhere else since they didn't advertise that or any other offer that looked good to me (this was on a Monday). My only complaint is they don't let you combine strains for the volume discount. For example - Black Russian is $55 for 1 eighth but if you buy a quarter you only donate $50 per eighth, Paris OG is $60 for 1 eighth but in a quarter it's $55 per eighth. I like variety so I wanted a combined quarter, almost any other dispensary would've given me the volume discount and charged $50 + $55, but Natures Wonder said I'd have to pay the full eighth prices of $55 + $60 (before applying the new customer 10% off). Really sucks that they price it that way, that may just be what makes me want to go somewhere else next time I'm looking for variety.

Nature's Medicines - Fountain Hills

12/19/2013
apparently they managed to get my first review deleted so I'm posting again about my first visit to Natures AZ Medicines in Fountain Hills. The place was the nicest dispensary I've been inside, very upscale, just like I'd expect in Fountain Hills. The meds, however, were the exact opposite. The trimming job on these meds was ridiculous, and worst of all they all were riddled with tiny little "pre-seeds" (not sure what the correct name is, they happen when the plant is pollinated at the end of the flower cycle, the buds are covered in these tiny little things that are not seeds yet, but would've become seeds if they'd had time to mature. they taste bad and turn make potentially good bud into crap). Even the stuff that they call top shelf has these little would-be seeds. the fact that they consider this top shelf just tells me that this is not a dispensary that I ever want to visit again

Phoenix Relief Center (Med/Rec)

Still the best. The only dispensary I've been to that offers reasonable donation rates without sacrificing the quality of the meds offered. All of their meds are legit, unlike most dispensaries in the valley, plus they're always running some kind of special/discount that changes each day and they are not lame offers... They even sent me a birthday card with another decent offer

Harvest HOC - Tempe (Med/Rec)

I've been to harvest several times. I will admit I have been impressed with the quality of SOME of their strains on the top shelf, a couple of them are as good as anything I've ever seen (and that says a lot with the # of years I've been smoking and growing) and truly deserve to be on the top shelf. However they surely don't deserve the exorbitant price tag of over $70 after taxes!!! No marijuana should ever cost more than $40 an eighth, the best stuff can be found for $50 right now. The first time I went to harvest I was able to find something decent for $55, still expensive but I was willing to pay that because my other providers were unavailable at the time. Several visits since then I found absolutely nothing worth smoking for under $65. they still had some great strains on the top shelf, as well as a few that I would say are just so-so (for $70!), but EVERYTHING on the lower priced tiers was absolute garbage! I wouldn't pay $10 for that crap, hell I wouldn't even smoke it for free, and these A-holes are charging people up to $55 plus tax! the owner should be ashamed
