Kushman's - Mukilteo

9/3/2018
Very good selection of some of my "go to" top shelf brands for flower. Regular prices often beat sale prices in Seattle. I have dealt with Jordan on my visits, he has solid knowledge as a bud connoisseur and will be able to point you in the right direction to make a good choice. I, along with many, long for the days of the farmers market and the interest and passion that was often present. I get that same feeling when driving up from Seattle. Some gardens I would like to see on your shelves in the future, if possible, are: TJ's Organics, Secret Gardens of WA, SubX, and Kush Brothers. Thanks for keeping it real and making it worth the drive from Seattle. Aloha

Purple Punch

One of the better tasting newer hybrids to have established itself here in Seattle over the last couple years, I'd say. I would prefer to call it "Sweet Larry, Swl" The garden that you get it from will greatly effect your experience but when wisely selected I experience a more balanced hybrid experience. I enjoy the OG on my nose with a nice uplifting effect coupled with a very sweet flavor from the GDP, Some batches remind me of the creaminess found in the best batches of GSC. When done right it is sure to garner comment from any discerning connoisseur.

Dr. Clemenstein

1/3/2018
The crew at Plantworks in Seattle have created a new little jewel of a flower called Dr. Clemenstein. I am told the strain is primarily a cross of GSC and Clementine. My jar reads that the harvest date was 11/16/17 w/ THC 18.81% and 0.07% CBD. Excellent jar appeal with small/medium sized fingers of crystal covered light green with plenty of orange hairs. When I opened the jar I had an immediate nose of cheese and dried fruit. After grinding the aroma was much more citrus. The flowers are well cured and definitely top shelf. For me the smoke was smooth and the flavor is mostly citrus with a pronounced fuel/ anise finish. This strain leaves me feeling uplifted and happy. I rarely come across a flower with as many odiferous notes, well done!!

The Bakeréé - Georgetown

11/24/2017
First off, I think all agree that the early days of the Bakeree on Angelo are sorely missed. That said, I think they have "come through the fire" doing exceptionally well. Great selection and strain/garden knowledge. I like to geek out on strains and many of their bud tenders are seasoned veterans of the flower. Being able to tell me things about the attention to curing that a grower may have, artisan or cutting edge genetic knowledge, award history of a grower's flower, insights into the possibilities of CBG or THCV, terpines and terpanoids, or even if a company has suffered due to restrictive industry employment laws compared to neighboring states. Not to mention the art and culture they promote with store displays and sale events. Today I took advantage of their Black Friday sale and the prices made me a little giddy, like after going to the old Farmers Market for the first time!

Girl Scout Cookies (Forum Cut)

GSC forum cut from Aurum Farms, Seattle WA. 9/2017 This particular strain won the 2014 HTCC Best Med. Hybrid Wow, all that you want to see, smell, and feel. When I first had my medical auth. in 2009 I found myself strain hunting for landrace sativas, and intentionally avoiding strains that were getting a lot of hype, GSC being one of them. But I had become an authority on Durban Poison, especially with TJ's Organic's putting out an insane example to which all others can be measured (High Times Best Tasting Buds on Earth '16) Then 2-3 years ago at the Medical Farmers Market in Seattle, I wondered over to the Humanity table and inquired about GSC. I was given a little strain history, the Durban Poison lineage was a plus, and introduced to the product from Gold Leaf Gardens. This was the first strain I ever described as having a "creamy' smoke. The effects were strong and Gold Leaf Gardens was living up to the hype. I also really enjoyed the original Bakeree's products in Seattle, before the laws changed. Just bought a 1/2 oz of Aurum Farms Forum Cut, GSC,from The Bakeree; and this product is probably the most intoxicating cookies I have had to date. Amazing jar appeal with the small popcorn sized morsels of what could be described as something resembling Unicorn poop. The smell I seem to detect from cookies often makes me think of something similar to orange butter cookies. The reason I am writing this review is because of the intoxicating effect of this example. Wow! I am having some seasonal allergies currently so I may be a little more sensitive than usual, but this one is kicking hard every time (likely a strong OG presence). Anyway, if you care about connoisseur quality and genetics this one won't disappoint.
