My favorite strain. Hands down.
Literally, the best high, absolutely NO paranoia OR anxiety whatsoever.
This is the only strain where no matter how high and lost I get, I don't ever get paranoid, I just blissfully sail back and forth and enjoy the high.
Very sleepy and hungry when you come down, but during the actual high, it keeps you lazy, sleepy, but at the same time, you are concentrated and don't dose off like Purple strains do to you.
It is possible to stay awake on this stuff and I love the high it brings. Visual and sleepy, yet very happy. So happy on this stuff.
This medicine hit me hard man, didn't think the Big Buddha Cheese would be this potent.
Picked it up at Oakland Organics (Organicann) in Downtown Oakland, California and it tested at 12.4% THC and 0.3% CBD, thought that was relatively low for a Sativa dominant hybrid so I picked it up.
Hit it once out of my pipe and I could instantly (like within 20-30 seconds feel the uplifting effect) In low doses, this medicine is GREAT for Depression.
After my initial first hit out of the pipe, decided to roll aout a .8 gram joint of it, 2 hits and I was flying. This has to be some of the trippiest weed I have smoked. Music sounded so amazing and I felt very floaty.
I am used to smoking indicas so this shit blew me away at how psychadelic it can get. when you get your hands on a good Sativa.
When I got really high (after about 3 fat hits from the joint) I experienced some strong paranoia and anxiety, mad it not fun for awhile but eventually I got used to it and enjoyed the high.
Best smoked out of a pipe to get the cleaner more cerebral effect.
Pro's: Uplifting, Trippy, Visual, Strong Enhancement of Senses
Cons: Slight paranoia and anxiety from low doses (Not as much as other Sativas though, less anxiety than Super Lemon Haze or Super Silver Haze)
Amazing medicine now, one of my favorites!
Omrita Rx is a sativa dominant hybrid CBD rich strain that is excellent for patients suffering from anxiety or depression.
Known to give mellow sativa effects without the raciness and paranoia that some Sativa users complain about.
CBD, Cannabidiol, is very high in this plant and possesses very relaxed, sleep inducing, anxiety and paranoia free, pleasant effects.
Rx females have consistently tested at 9-12% CBD and 5-7% THC with Steep Hill Lab, CW Analytical, and Botanical Analysis.
Man, this is truly an awesome strain.
The problem with a lot of Indica's is they put you to sleep before you can even enjoy your high, and a lot of the times you will be so couch locked that you cannot even concentrate on TV, music, all you can think about is eating and sleeping.
With this Blackberry Kush, it was the perfect happy medium, you get the stoned awesome feeling of an Indica, but you dont feel that heavy headed pass out feeling you get from Purple's or Afghan strains, you feel more awake and concentrated.
I was scared to try any concentrated, "awakening and uplifting" strain for quite some time due to the fact that they tend to make my heart rate pick up, but not the case for Blackberry Kush, very little anxiety and very little paranoia, awesome strain.
Harsh smoke and extremely spicy taste, tasted nothing like Blackberry or Fruit for that matter, just very spicy and harsh smoke.
Hit me like a train though and I was pretty stoned and nodding my head to old school hip hop music for a good time, amazing strain and one of my favorites. Just dont smoke too much! Two small hits and I was zooted!
The flavor of this Purple Urkle is amazing, reminiscent of a very earthy fruity grape picked from a garden.
Very true indica at heart and different from the Grandaddy which is also very popular in Northern California.
The body high on the Urkle washes through you like a wave and food and sleeping never felt better.
This is different from the Grandaddy in the sense that Grandaddy tends to give me a very "intoxicated" feeling, to the point where I am generally sitting on the couch with random thoughts flying through my head getting nothing done.
With the Urkle it is more euphoric, uplifting, and music sounds a lot better.
My favorite strain as of now and is definitely not a daytime smoke as it couch locks you and has you giggling and eating for a good while.
Went into this strain looking to have a fun typical high, I was wrong.
I wouldn't say this strain "disappointed" me per se, but I would say that I would classify this as a true "MEDICINE" over something that gives you a fun buzz.
Picked up a gram of this from my local dispensary and after 2 or 3 fat hits or so, I became slightly euphoric and very slowed down. My speech slowed down, walking felt heavier, and I got very sleepy and lazy. It didn't really give me the typical things I get from a Cannabis high (heightening of senses, distortion, euphoria)
I just became really lazy, sleepy, and slightly giggly to be honest, not really high at all.
I did like one thing about this strain however, NO ANXIETY whatsoever. With hybrids and sativas, and sometimes certain indicas, I tend to get a racy heart, panic, anxious like feeling, with this Afgoo, I did not get any of that. Great for lightweight smokers who are looking for that slow motion stoney feel.
I guess if I smoked more I would have gotten more of the "high" effects, but with the Purple Urkle I smoked the other day, it gave me the slowing lazy effects of this Afgoo, but also the mix of the trippy effects of some other types of Cannabis, so I prefer the Urkle over this.
That being said, this Afgoo strain is awesome for kicking back at your house and watching Family Guy, Dave Chappelle, stand up comedy etc. Does give you the slight giggles...
7/10 for me.
Stronger than most guys on here would think.
Tested at around 6% THC, and 8% CBD, I initially thought I would need a lot of this stuff to get high. Picked up a gram from Berkeley Patients Group and gave it a try, three bowls and I was pretty medicated.
The only difference between this and other strong sativas or indicas, is the anxiety level is much lower on this. Almost no anxiety at all but it did kick in a couple of times, I wont lie, this strain is not completely anxiety free, especially if you smoke a lot of it.
Good for relaxing and music, and the taste is phenomenal, very earthy and sweet. If they a hookah flavor of Harlequin I would totally smoke it, the taste is awesome and smells like your smoking sugary sunflowers or something.
Be careful with this strain if you are a newbie smoker or if you are prone to anxious/paranoid thoughts when you are high, it is extremely potent.
I took about 4 good hits of this off of a swisher and to be honest I kind of was begging my body to stop climbing so high, I was soaring but not in the enjoyable manner. I was at a park at around 3 AM and saw some youngsters in the distance, which for some reason scared the shit out of me because I thought they were coming after me.
It is a very hazey, spacey type high and almost made me feel colder outside, which as opposed to Kush/Indica strains that warm me right up.
Great for Music, and tasting food or drinks, makes your senses astronomically higher and I could of laid back and just drank a cold glass of juice and listened to music for hours upon end without getting bored.
I might add that the anxiety was almost unbearable though, panic attack people, dont mess with this stuff.
